Light and Dark
I come home.
Can't handle the pressure.
Find a knife.
A quick slit.
Thats all it takes.
No more pain....in a couple of seconds.
All the memories flashing by.
They use to bring me joy.
Now they bring me pain.
3...2...it's all going dark...1...
I wake up in a very white room.
Tubes in my arms.
My mom asleep next to me.
Is this heaven.
No,I would never make it to heaven.
It's the hospital.
But it's quiet...eerie...it's too quiet.
I leave the room...
No one is there.
I see a light at the end of the hallway.
It's bright.
I look the other way...it's dark.
But the darkness grows closer.
I run towards the light...it runs from me.
...My chest thumps...why did it do that.
It thumps again.
This time my vision blurred...one more time.
Now I see someone...the darkness.
It's trying to eat me...again...
The person I've never seen before.
The darkness is leaving...so is the light.
I can hear sirens and voices.
I'm alive.....damn so close this time.
