   Hey-ya!
Hello. I hope all of you enjoyed the second half of the second episode of YYH Beyond! I think I’ll make you wait a while for the third episode ^^; hehheh perhaps next time that I post I’ll include it, but I’m taking a trip to visit my possie this week, so it may be over another week before I have it up. Sorry ^^;;; Oh and in response to Forgotten-Heart in reguards to commenting Yokira (the Mud Monster) seeming like a Mary Sue…I don’t want to give too much away, but much will happen later that will make her not a Mary Sue ^^ sorry to be shallow, but I just realized I don’t want to give you guys spoilers on my series ^^

In other news, to be brief, I entered a MyO contest, so all you have to do is please Vote via PM for me ^^ Thank you.

And I’m not sure if I will be updating before this takes place, but Equus will be having a Masquerade party on her site. Mystery, fun, and clones…plus other anime characters will be present. So please check it out if you have time later.

   Never Fear!
Refi: Well, I’m employed…sort of. It’s kind of exciting. See, it’s a company that sends out people to work in positions for short periods of time, like substitutes, but not for teachers. So everyday I call in and I’ll never know if I’m working or not! So today I didn’t have to work, so I was able to work on a treat for all of you! ^_^ I finally wrote the next fight scene in my YYH Beyond project! So for Friday night tonight, we can gather around the fire in the story telling room with some popcorn my sis is making!

Now bear in mind I wrote it this afternoon and have not had any editors look over this, so please be my editors and tell me anything that may be wrong mechanically (proofreading kind) or how the characters act. And if you have any better ideas for fighting since I don’t like writing fight scenes, PLEASE SHARE! ^^Thank you!

YYH Beyond: Episode 2 {second half}:
MYSTERY MONSTER UNMASKED
{Previously: The gang met a demon with a thick crust of mud for armor. Yusuke started to fight her but she knocked him out without breaking a sweat. Now she has her sites set on Kurama. Will he end up like Yusuke, or can he outwit this new foe?}

[Kurama and Kuwabara are still holding up the wounded Yusuke. The Monster holds Kurama’s face and smirks. He pushes her arm away with his free hand.] Monster: Shall we have at it then? Kurama: [as he and Kuwabara set Yusuke into a sitting position] You promise to stop bothering humans after we are done? Monster: I’ll take that as a yes… Kuwabara: Kurama! You’re not really going to fight her are you? Kurama: I’ll do what I must. [Kurama faces the Monster and the two stare at each other. Few forest noises are heard as their eyes are locked. Finally, the Monster gestures.] Monster: By all means, make the first move. Kurama: I do believe it is your turn to start. Monster: Didn’t really get to see me in action with the amateur [moves head towards Yusuke] there did you? Won’t fight back till you have analyzed how to effectively counter attack? Very well…[swings left muddy arm around and calls out] MUD SLIDE! [mud squirts out from arm in a stream towards Kurama] Kurama: [dodges then pulls rose out of hair] ROSE WHIP! [Monster holds up arm. Whip wraps around her arm but does not penetrate it. Monster pulls arm back, pulling Kurama overhead with it. Kurama pulls the rose back in and brakes his fall by gymnastically outstretching his arm to flip on. He lands unharmed and turns for a counterattack] Kurama: PETALS AND THORNS! [Rose petals clash against the Monster, but do little damage] Monster: Well that’s a pretty plant you found. [Sticks right arm in ground and pillars of dirt pop out of the ground around Kurama and close in on him.] Monster: Almost as pretty as you… [Kurama powers up, breaking out of mud. He brings the whip out again sweeping in low this time.] Yusuke: You know, I don’t think Kurama is doing any better. He better think of something quick or instead of pulling out pansies, he’ll be pushing up daisies! Hiei: Give him some credit. The armor may seem impenetrable but if he can manage to crack it he can work in to break it from the inside out. Kuwabara: He should plant seeds in the ground that she’s using for a weapon and use it against her. Hiei: I thought you were against us fighting the monster. Kuwabara: I am, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hold her still long enough to get some answers out of her, like how she was holding Kurama there. Hiei: Fool. You already tried talking to her and this is what resulted. Yusuke: Kuwabara, I think you’re using your brain to much. We should just watch. [The Rose Whip breaks all the chunks of mud that the Monster is hurling at him.] Monster: I must say your reflexes are up to par. [The Monster stops throwing mud chunks and runs straight at Kurama. Kurama jumps up and grabs a branch. He swings one way switches his hands so he faces the other direction then comes down, kicking the Monster. The Monster falls on her stomach and rolls over. By this time, Kurama has resumed his attack with the Rose Whip. She gets up on a knee and holds up her arm to block the attacks. Then she moves her arm so that the whip gets wound up around her arm again. She draws Kurama in close to her as she stands.] Monster: I see you are the strong silent type [kicks him away] METEOR SHOWER! [More chunks of mud shoot out at Kurama. Kurama dodges and uses his whip to break the chunks like before, but a few slip by and scratch him.] Monster: [stops Meteor Shower] I can tell there is a demon hiding behind that human form, why don’t you let it out? [performs Mud Slide] Kurama: [Flips over attack and while landing, inconspicuously picks a few blades of grass] There is no need to. [Kurama lunges at the Monster with the grass turning into a blade. A clang rings as the grass sword hits the Monster’s armored arm.] Monster: You go by Kurama, is that correct? Kurama: More or less. [Both Kurama and the Monster exert tremendous spirit energy that throws both of them back. Both fighters are on their hands and knees.] Monster: [pushes self up] There wouldn’t be a ‘Yoko’ with that, would there? Kurama: [stands up and brushes an arm off] I see my reputation precedes me. Monster: Oh you should know me too. Kurama: I have a vague idea… [The Monster stands straight. She crosses her arms in front of her face and her armor of mud starts to crack.] Monster: YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! [The monster throws her arms out, causing bits of dried up mud to shoot off in all directions. Kuwabara and Yusuke cover their faces. Hiei squints. Kurama shields his eyes w/ one hand but still looks out from under it. When all the pieces have shot off, a slender fox-demon that is about an inch taller than Yoko Kurama stands where the mud monster was.] Kurama: [glares at her] Yokira. Yokira: [smiling through half-closed eyes] So glad you remember. “Hey! Yusuke here to tell you that we finally get to find out who this Yokira person really is. After everything he has been through, Kurama’s past still comes back to haunt him. What’s worse, he’s got to explain this to his wife. And considering she’s related to Genkai…I’m just glad that I’m not the one to do it. We’re hoping all this mess comes clear so you better not miss it, Next time on YuYuHakusho Beyond!"

   The search goes on…
Refi: I’m still job hunting…no one out there would know of a nice internet job that I could stay at home and do all day would you? Well, the applications are in so we’ll see if anyone else calls me back for an interview. In the meantime, I worked on some more pics for Hiei in RainbowLand and completed another portion in quiz format! Refi: Also I’ve got more Dark Tournament screenshots up on O.S.M. if you want to see. I added over 100 shots from the start of the tournament and Kurama turnning the creep threatening his mother turned into a bush and Hiei’s first use of the Dark Dragon as well as getting singed pretty bad…but yeah, those are up and I’ll be able to get even more Dark Tournament pics up soon.



Refi: Oh and something I haven’t done for a while, I joined a club! My brother and I finally finished Tales of Symphonia. And yeah…I want to know more about Kratos, I mean the guy has a 4,000 year history that is practically untouched!!! I mean how could he continue *stops before gives away spoilers* ^^; sorry. I don’t know what it is that attracts me to real old guys in young hot bodies… >.> hmm… Next Subject!



Refi: Meet my new and improved Clone number 2! ^_^ Aw, isn’t he such a cutie-pie? Well, I changed my intro so if you want your clone to look as good as #2 here, just follow the instructions!    I get to post tonight! (sorry, not your average Refi-style post)
Refi: Hello there! I hope all of you are doing well. Thank you all who brought cartoons to sing campfire songs with us last post! ^_^ For those who missed it, I would recommend to go back and check out the comments. As for my life, I’ve been compensating the time I can’t go online and tie up the phone line with the family’s Game Cube. And my brother bought a new game that has been monopolizing my time. Perhaps you have heard of it…it’s called Tales of Symphonia! Yeah so any one wanna talk about it? In other news, since I have my brother do the walking, I can work on my laptop between battles and storylines. I have some more YYH pics up on my O.S.M. from the Dark Tournament. Sadly with the whole transferring everything by thumbdrive, it will be a while before I get any more up. But on the bright hand, for Kurama Clone owners…there are a few more Kurama pics to choose from for your specially customized personal clone pictures that I am making ^^ Like this one that I am sending to Crystal Lake Fairy:

The naive Sally Sue has decided that anime is becoming too violent, so she kidnapped (in a loving way) all the fighters and gathered them around a campfire.

Sally Sue: To promote the love in our shows...*pulling out guitar*...we are going to sing some rounds! ^_^ *Starts playing Kum-by-ya*

   An Anime Christmas Series

Refi: Had a great idea while watching Christmas Specials with my siblings today, so here is what I started writing but I know you guys don’t like long post, so I tried to cut it short (sorry its still long) and I haven’t finished writing it out yet. I want to make it more true to the cartoons and less like the plotlines this is being copied from. So if any of you have cast or setting ideas to improve this please speak out! And then I wrote down the full cast of what I have so far at the end of this post. I plan to write out a full version for my freewebs site for those interested, maybe it will come out next Christmas ^^; Oh and I’m REALLY REALLY Sorry for not getting things done like visiting sites or making awards like promised. Remember Kurama Clone Owners, I’m making personal pictures of your Kurama clones, I just need you to tell me which of my pics of Kurama I have on O.S.M. you would like me to use for it. Oh, and now I’m home, so my internet time will be severely limited so I am extremely very sorry for all the times I won’t be able to visit you when I would prefer to. But Merry Christmas to everyone and have a Happy New Year! I will try to update and visit when I can, especially since I can only do things on my family computer so I have to transfer things between my laptop to their computer for online…sorry again if I’m starting to whine. I love you guys and hope you can understand and forgive me for my absence, but like Frosty said, “I’ll be back again someday!”

Hiei: Mai? Why did you ever get married?

Joey: ‘Cuz I fell in luv Uncle!

Hiei: Fell in love? Hn. That’s the only thing sillier than a Merry Christmas!

Joey: HEY! *punching fist in hand* Ya wanna piece of this?

Trunks: Calm down Joey, remember the Spirit of Christmas!

Joey: Yeah, you’re right Trunks, You have a Merry Christmas!

Trunks: Thanks, you too!

Hiei: HUMBUG!

Goku: *enters* MERRY CHRISTMAS! Good evening Mr. Hiei, I’m here collecting donations for the poor and hungy! How much can I put you down for?

Hiei: Go away.

Goku: Do you wish to remain anonymous?

Hiei: Leave me alone or I’ll donate your death sentence! I have to pay my hard earned money to taxes that pay for prisons, so send the homeless there!

Goku: That’s not fair it isn’t a crime to be poor, they weren’t even able to defend themselves!

Hiei: Then that’s their own fault! Let them die and stop crowding up this miserable world!

Goku: Well, excuse me. *leaves*

Trunks: Mr. Hiei?

Hiei: What is it now?

Trunks: I think we should keep closed tomorrow, since everyone else will be closed and it would cost more money than it would earn to open up.

Hiei: Fine, but if you don’t work, then you don’t get paid, so be here all the earlier the next morning.

And with that Hiei went to his old dark and drafty petrified tree house. It took little effort and money to care for and Hiei liked it. He got ready for the night as usual, but on this particular evening, something different happened, an old familiar friend decided to pay him a visit.

Vegeta: Hiei! You old fool!

Hiei: Ve…Vegeta? But you are dead. What are you doing here?

Vegeta: I’ve come to warn you, as undeserving as you are. You are cursed and doomed to a worse fate than my own. Apparently my selfish actions have forged these chains that drag me down in the afterlife…and King Yama has a worse rage against you for your deeds.

Hiei: Hn. I can handle King Yama.

Vegeta: Don’t be so sure. I came only to warn that you will be visited by three spirits this evening. Not that I care what happens to you, so I’ll be on my way. *leaves*

Hiei: Hn. *goes to sleep*

Suddenly a loud bell rang out to announce the arrival of 1 o’clock…

Hiei: O_O *wakes up* What the? There was never a chime before. -_-

Hiei: Who are you?

Sasame: The ghost of Christmas past, come and I will show you!

   READ PREVIOUS POST IF YOU DIDN’T GET A CHANCE FOR IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND A GAME!
Refi: Well here we are, temporarily, until we move the castle again at the end of the week.

Goku: Again? But my arms are tired from carrying it!

Refi: Well the next stretch is only 10 hours driving rather than 15. My trip was uneventful last week, thank goodness I had company in the car! I had Kurama Clone #2 worry about the castle moving so I kidnapped the YYH gang to ride with me. I had them hog-tied so they couldn’t escape, and since their spirit powers do not coincide with the laws of nature here in the real world, they were unable to harm me ^_^

Hiei: >.> And yet it didn’t break the laws to be sitting where your luggage was crammed up in the car.

Refi: ^^ So then of course I had Kurama sit in the front seat, leaving Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hiei in the back. And since I had this goal of being able to see through my rear view mirror, Hiei was the only one short enough to sit in the middle.

Hiei: >.> And force me to sit by that buffoon Kuwabara for 15 straight hours.

Refi: ^^ And I serenaded them with my oldies tape and thought of another um is it called “Image song?” Like I have ideas for music videos I suppose, like “The Boxer” by Simon & Garfunkle for Goku, “Sha la la la la la Live for Today” for Master Roshi and “Did you ever have to make up your mind?” for Yamcha. But listening to my Oldies tape, this song that says, “Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you,” I thought that it would be a good Hiei/Mukuro song! ^^ Either Hiei singing it to Mukuro which is funny him calling her little when she is twice his size, or if Mukuro was singing it to Hiei being a spooky little guy and in a verse instead of little eye will be a winkin’ it would be replaced as third eye winkin’ ^^ I don’t know which would be the better approach, but Hiei fits the spooky part does he not? But at least we had fun singing in the car!

Hiei: >.> Not to mention the belting and obscure harmonies you added to those songs.

Refi: I also thought of some good jokes of what Kansas has to offer as I drove along there, but they were mostly inside jokes, so I’ll share them with the respected persons.

Hiei: >.> Does cruel and unusual punishment come to mind?

Hiei Clone #3: -_- Now you know what I have to put up with!

   God be with you till we meet again.
Refi: Hey guys! We’re moving the castle again. I’m disconnecting my phone today and on Tues drive to my dad’s. Then I hope to be at mom’s by Christmas. Never fear tho, my dad has the net through his cable line!

Kurama Clone #2: Yes the time has come again to travel…and after Christmas we will venture off to the unknown.

Refi: Well, I’m trying to keep my options open, like writing for Tokyopop is one that just came up or BUMBUMBUM *dramatic music plays* go on for my Masters at school.

Kurama Clone #2: If any of you have favorite works of Refi’s works on her fanfic page (CC Missions link) that are of submitable value, please let us know.

Refi: Also, I got a nomination!!! Check it out! (p.s. I’m Refi on the poll, not tiggerola)

Hiei Clone #3: Are you forgetting something?

Kurama Clone #2: Of course not.

Refi: Oh you mean how my 3’s sent 2 to the Wiggles? (Which I personally enjoy watching…call me a freak, but I love *cough*most*cough* children’s shows. Well, the 3’s are in charge of that story, so I’ll let them take it from here.

Refi: Perhaps, I will write a fanfic of this...experience, I’ll see how my siblings react!    It's Wiggle Time!

Yukina Clone #3: ROSES!

Hiei Clone #3: Yes, so she would eat Kurama’s weapons, leaving him powerless!

Kurama Clone #2: True my rosewhip would cease its effectiveness against her, but that is irrational to rely soley on weapons in battle.

Kyo Clone #4: Come on! Let’s send him there and see her kick his trash!!!

Kurama Clone #2: But #4, it is not her nature to attack, and I have no need to fight with her.

Hiei Clone #3: We’ll see about that…TO WIGGLELAND FOR YOU!!! Buwahaha!

   Official Refi-chan Day
Refi: I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and lots of food to eat. For those who didn’t have a big meal or for those who are still hungry, just mosey on down to our banquet hall for music feasting and frivolity! Last year I posted a list of many things I am thankful for. I won’t repost it nor ask you to comment about things you are thankful for (although you are free to) and just ask that you take some time to think in your heart things to be grateful for since the world could use a little more gratitude. Plus life is nicer when you focus on the good rather than the bad. In other news, I have a special xmas treat for Kurama Clone owners, I’ll try and mention it in a few weeks, so Clone owners, keep your eyes open and spread the word! Freewebs.com has a new blog thing with their sites, so you should be able to comment on my Freewebs site too (Cartoon Cops button in the intro). I got my DVDs and spent 9 hours finishing up the YYH series in one sitting! ^^; not too much more info than the online summaries showed, but now I can properly write the sequel series. Change things here and there like the picnic being near Genkai’s shrine rather than at a park. Or maybe start the series sooner? What do you guys think?

*crickets chirp*

Refi: What’s the big idea throwing a party for me anyway?

Kurama Clone #2: Well, it is your half birthday. Also you have been on MyO for over a year. This is a party to commemorate your accomplishments.

Refi: V///V This is so embarrassing! Like I’m full of myself or something.

Kurama Clone #2: But I arranged it, not you, so don’t feel that way.

Hiei Clone #3: -_- Quit complaining and have fun already.

Refi: o.O …did I just hear what I think he said?

Hiei Clone #3: >o< I don’t know what you heard, but its pointless for you to go on being upset when the reason Kurama Clone #2 went through all the trouble of inviting your friends here and they came to make you happy and your foul attitude is aggravating and rubs off, leaving me to wonder why we had to invite anyone here at all!

Refi: o.o … ^^ *hugs Hiei Clone #3* Why I think you really actually care! I’ve done a good job raising you didn’t I?

Hiei Clone #3: -_-+++ *thinks: If only I had my katana right now*

Kyo Clone #4: Can we go to the banquet hall now? I’m starving over here!

Kurama Clone #2: Yes we may. Below I am leaving an image that all are free to take, in a way of saying thank you, and then have a comment party where we will frequently be reappearing, this way the party can be more interactive. And Refi will even give a speech!
