Refi: Welcome everyone! An exciting segment of our Friday Night Story is in store tonight! ^_~
Firstly An announcement about my site contest! There is one final factor that I need. Don’t worry judges, you do not have to do this part but can if you wish and you don’t need to be a judge to participate. I call it the “Popularity Factor” where you vote for your fav sites. Every Otaku Member is entitled to 3 votes, with your favorite listed first. So all of the contestants, don’t be afraid to tell all of your buds who visit your site to vote for you because that’s I want to know by gathering this research and all of you can help! I will except votes until next Wednesday night when the Judges’ critiques are due.

Hiei: *observes the layout of things* hn. *uses Spirit Energy on the cart but has no effect on the crystals, he continues different attacks on the color crystals to no avail* I planed on using this for something else before being thrown into this contemptible place * unbandages his arm and releases the Immortal Dragon of the Darkness Flame which finally destroys the color crystals*
Lurky: Look Murky, the tunnel is shining!
Murky: oO WHAT?!? Come on dodo brain! Those are the Sprites, we’ve got to hide! *runs behind another cart*
Lurky: Duh, okay Murky *hides under a pebble*
Murky: doh, *pulls Lurky behind cart with him*
Hiei: cowards -_-

Refi: I’m so sorry that I was unable to visit your sites yesterday…my Internet broke! V_V both the Ethernet and trying to go via phone line Y_Y it really stunk!
Kurama Clone #2: I still can’t believe you went to your lounges comp in your pajamas to try and go online.
Refi: I had my oompa-loompa suit (really it’s a Couch Cozy, I just call it that) on over them!
Kurama Clone #2: But…a guy saw you there!
Refi: Don’t be jealous, he wasn’t looking at me, he was hanging out w/ 2 other girls!

Refi: ^_^ Ok, I really don’t have much to say today, just a few announcements. More “Hiei in Rainbowland” next post! Thank you judges who mentioned how far you are along in the judging. The critiques are due next Wed midnight! I’ll probably be able to announce the winners and recognize the judges the following Mon night (Tues).
And Guess what! I have a job for when I graduate! ^___^ Taking care of kids and adopted Russian children for this musical family! Badda bing badda boom! There you have it! Everything I’ve studied in one job. Plus I can take my past work experience with the theatre and Shakespearean Festival feast with the other task my job entails! ^_^ I’m so excited! ^_^

311 and I finally got my shoutbox back from the bowels of Nurako’s stomack >.< And its now safe to use—we sterilized it. When I can, I think I’ll try and get a second one! That way people will have one to just shout HI in and the other (which is currently working) reserved for conversations with cartoons.
Oh and great news! I found the long lost picture of Yuki getting a makeover! Don’t tell him, he’ll kill me when he finds out!
As you can see, Shigure was amused by Yuki’s dilemma, so I just may have him at the next slumber party! ^_~ Just please no one breath anything about it to Ayame, he’s the last one I need to see in my castle!
Ok, I’m in the mood to watch Care Bears! I used their Nutcracker Suite movie for my Tchaikovsky presentation and now I wanna watch the second movie… *skips off to personal movie collection*
Spiritual Thoughts
Hello there! I usually don't post on Sunday, but while in church I came up with an idea. Maybe once a week I can post something uplifting and inspirational here on MyO. All of you are welcome to coment, expound, share and ask questions ^_^ What do you think?
For those who do not know yet, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (aka Mormon). I realize that not everyone on MyO is Christian and that is ok, you may choose to or not to read this post. I do know that my Father in Heaven lives and so does my brother, Jesus Christ, who loves me. I also know from studying World Religions that there are common doctrines and that is what I would like to share in these post (in otherwords, I'm not doing this to force my religion on anyone, only to provide comfort incase I may help someone in thier journey of life.)
Now for some food the soul:
I was reading in 1st John this afternoon and I thought Chapter 4 verse 20 was really cool!
"If a man say, I love god, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"
That last part of it really stood out (does anyone know how to do itallics in post? ~Thanks for the help TheMouse! ^_^ ~) because we are taught to love one another. God sent his Son out of love for us and Jesus suffered the Atonement for us so we could repent and return to our Heavenly Father because he loves us. The Holy Ghost helps us out of Love.
With these examples of love, I that I need to work harder with striving to love others. Love others as God and Christ loves. I can learn to love God by learning to love his creations and his children for they testify of his existence. Learning to be selfless and serve others so I may learn to love them helps make the world a better place to live in. What a beautiful world this would be if everyone could have a perfect love for one another and we all worked together in harmony! Comments (25) |

Hiei: You obviously don’t know how to rid those brats of their colors, otherwise you would have managed to annihilate them by now.

Murky: Can it Amoeba-Brain! Heh heh, don’t mind him Master, we know where they get the color from…
Hiei: *raises eyebrow* Where?
Murky: eh, Well the color comes from their star sprinkles.
*flashback to Rainbow Brite using the star sprinkles on Hiei*
Hiei: -_- I could have figured that out…where do the sprinkles come from?
Murky: They mine it out of the cave.
Hiei: Lead me to this cave.

Shy Violet: Rainbow! I’ve got terrible news! Black Night has run away!
Color Kids: *randomly* What? Oh no! That’s awful!
Rainbow Brite: We should ask the Great Rose!
Kurama: Don’t worry, I already know.
Everyone: *is startled and turns to look at the Great Rose*
Rainbow Brite: We’re so sorry, we’ll find a way to make things better!
Kurama: Yes, I know you can handle it, but it may be difficult, he is with Murky and Lurky now.
Red Butler: What?!?
Shy Violet: *starts crying*
Rainbow: I’ll send for Moonbeam and Stormy to come help.
Kurama: Sounds good. I’m sure they will be very beneficial to have around in this situation.
Rainbow: Twink! Send word to Moonbeam!
Twink: *salutes* Right away! *leaves*
Rainbow: Starlite and I will go and see Stormy and then see if Kris would be able to help as well.
Buddy Blue: But that will take a lot of time!
Canary Yellow: But Rainbow! We need you here!
Rainbow: I know, but this is serious. This is a time where we must all work together to do our part, even if it takes us in far off places. It is our duty to do what is called upon us to help each other and in that we will be able to *background music swells* bring color and joy to the universe!

Refi: I’ll have the official criteria on my next post! And the judges are to critique every site entered (unless there is a problem, if any exceptions are to be made, clear it with me and it will be kept on a PRIVATE basis!) and PM their results to me. Some things that will be judged will be the # of post, their content, atmosphere (i.e. music, bg) fanart/greeting/wallpapers submitted (but they don’t have to be professional fanarts but the thought put in them), overall impression, and extra comments. Yes I know it’s a lot of work, that’s why the judges who pull through are getting their own rewards! ^_^ plus they will have a week or two to work on this, so don’t stress. I’ll try to average it so you won’t have to visit more than 3 a day and Sunday’s off!

Refi: *raises eyebrow* Well whatever you say, you might as well tell it since apparently you know the whole thing.
Kurama Clone #2: From the horses mouth actually…
***All migrate to storytelling room, Kurama Clone #2 sits in the storyteller chair, while other clones bring plates of cookies. Refi sits on #2’s lap and says “Ok Santa I’ve been a REAL good girl this year!” The clone chuckles and sets her on a cushion by the chair***
Hiei: *Stands at the edge of Rainbow Land staring at the skull-faced lair of Murky and Lurky*
Voice: *from behind* Why don’t you give the color kids a chance?
Hiei: I never asked for your advice Kurama.
Kurama: *appears and leans back against a rock* You know revenge isn’t the answer.
Hiei: Who said anything about revenge? All their warm affection was suffocating me.

Slumber Party w/ Kyo & Haru!!!
Refi: ^^; Hello everyone! Thank you for putting up with my inactivity on Otaku this week! The nightmare is soon coming to an end! Oh, and I came up with a brilliant idea as I was walking to my Russian classes (yes I did have withdrawals not being with you guys!) for the site. I know it seems like an epidemic, but I’m going to hold my own CONTEST!!! But it will be slightly different from all those I’ve seen so far. ^_^ YAY!!! Ok, so the gist: Anyone can enter! But also, I need specific judges! Since I don’t want my biased opinion on the best sites, I’m going to make a criteria list, and to make sure those who want to vote aren’t just making this a popularity contest, I want any votes that count to have the well rounded opinion for all the sites entered. So when my work is done, I’ll make a point system for sites (mayhap mathematically complicated to ensure no cheating) to be judged on. Start signing up now to be either a contestant and/or honorary judge. I’m going to try and make something EXTRA SPECIAL for the judges since there will be a lot of work required of them, so it pays to be a judge, and you also get to vote for your own site that way if you are both!!! If you wish to be a judge you may choose to remain anonymous or I will recognize you in a post for your effort after submitting your votes. Feel free to advertise getting people to enter as a contestant or judge. I will accept contestants until next Wednesday and anyone can enter to be a judge until the contest is over in, lets say a week from then, if that’s enough time, we’ll see. ^^; OK, now the fine print is over with, lets get this party started!!!

Refi: Yes V_V I have so much and been so busy, even though the vote ended up being HIEI IN RAINBOW LAND for tonight, I have not been able to make the necessary arrangements for it or for the Inviting guest speakers (and I'm sorry, but I am unfamiliar with those requested, but that gave me an idea for future post, so thank you everyone!). But never fear, I will give you HIEI IN RAINBOW LAND in my Monday night post when I can breath again. For now I will just have a dance party tonight…I just need to put on some music and all of you can have fun whilst I return to my homework!

Kurama Clone #2: Good evening everyone, I am sad to announce that Queen Refinnej will not be able to be with you this whole week due to test and assignments that weren’t even told to her class until today, not to mention the report she still needs to get done since she kept sneaking off on Saturday…

Kurama Clone #2: Now if you don’t get the things done for your Russian classes, you won’t get your minor, and without your minor, you won’t have your major, and if you don’t complete your major, you can’t graduate in April. And if you don’t graduate in April, you will loose the $500 for graduating on time, plus you have been here too long to qualify for an academic scholarship and will have to pay tuition next winter semester when you retake the classes.
Refi: V_V I know, I really need to get these things done.
