   I'm tired...
I was considering going to the home football game today, just to say I went, but with the amount of homework I have and the amount of time it's gonna take to get rid of this headache, I doubt I'll be able to go.

Well, let me just say what's been on my mind today.
For the past two days, we've been watching a video called "Surviving High School" in my LMS class. (Life Management Skills) It takes 11 teenagers from the same high school, each of them obviously from different "social classes" and labels. They covered soo many issues that've been affecting us nowadays, such as eating disorders, labels, teasing, depression and suicide. I nearly cried today when I watched the last parts, based mostly on depression, suicide, and labels.

The leading causes of teen death in the US are:
1.car accidents.
2.homicide (someone kills you)
3.suicide (you kill yourself)
500,000 ppl attempt suicide each year in the US.
125,000 ppl succeed.
7,000 of these ppl are teenagers from the age of 13 to 18.
Girls are more prone to attempt than boys.
Boys are more prone to succeed than girls.

My school's made up of 3,248 or so students. Double that, and there won't be a high school here anymore. There'll be a hall of memoirs and distraught parents and friends.
That's how bad it is, thanks to discrimination, racism, bullying, gangs, drugs, alcohol, and stress.
Many of us believe we can only deal with it. But we need to fix this, one person at a time. Are we really all so different, that we can't try to help each other? Can't try to strip the labels? How many of us really enjoy not being able to walk down that certain hallway, ask that certain person the time, or even go to the locker located next to that certain skin color?!
Adults say we're the future. But this is what the past will be by the time that age comes.
I'm trying... recognize hte power of words, and think twice the next time you bug some1 'bout their hair, clothes, or manner of speaking.
Please.
Well... I've gone on enough. I have to do some research on the school's website for Journalism (Why'd I sign up for this class...?) So...
ja ne!
PS=What's your color today? (Me=navy. Cuz that's the color shirt I wore today, and that's one of my many favorite colors.)
