 Today got better as school got dismissed. I'm gonna be honest; nothing good happened to me until the last bell rang except for me being able to do all my schoolwork without getting upset over it and a laugh in fourth period. I was brought down instantly by something that happened on my way to my first period, and I started work on a poem I had in my head.
I try not to write dark poems with gruesome metaphors. They reflect how I feel in a way that ppl receive it as a misconception, and they don't flow as easily for me; sure, you want a poem that expresses pain, I'll give you one.
But I believe that everything in life has a balance, so when I write a poem entirely of darkness, it seems only half-written.
But I started a somewhat "dar" poem, and finished another one that I wrote because something triggered some memories from my past. If any1 wants to read it, tell me, and I'll post it.
Well, lemme see... I spoke to my mom about what happened, she rationalized with me, and I guess I felt better aobut it, but still... I hate breaking hearts, and things like that only make it worse...
MOVING ON!! *hates tipping the balance* Hmm... there's a slight dilemna with poetry club at the moment cuz our sponsor, Ms.S, isn't gonna be at school tomorrow. She said we'd cancel the meeting, but when I told some members (duty of the secretary and only one with every1's numbers ^_^U) they said, "Hey, let's just do it outside!" We always continue in the courtyard after we get kicked out of the classroom (lol), so only half the meeting goes on inside when you think about it.
But I talked to Joe about it (president--he had no idea about Ms.S) he told me, "You should just go to anime club; it might get kinda awkward..." I said it might be kinda fun, but oh well, haha. I try to state the optimistic side (even though I'm something of a pesimist) and he has a tendency to state the bad sidde, so it kinda balances out-- Holy c**p I just punned myself 0.0!!!
I'm leaving before I do that again...!
