Systematic Chaos
Tuesday, June 5 saw the release of "Systematic Chaos", the ninth studio album of Dream Theater, the godfathers of today's Progressive rock/metal scene. And today I finally got my copy! *woots and huzzahs all around, thank you*
Got the special edition, which contains a second disc with the entire album in 5.1 sound, along with a "Making of..." documentary. I really need to check out this "imeem" thing I've seen on other MyO's. It'd be nice to share my music with everyone.
It's been a good week or more since I got out of the house, so I made the most of my trip to the outside, snatching up some much needed anime and manga as well.
The CT scan is set for Monday, so we should know what the heck's going on with me soon. I'd like to be able to do things again without the fear of randomly coughing blood. As Robin Williams once said, it'll feel good to "Once again be a part of the daylight experience." I'm pretty good at keeping myself entertained, but I've been stuck inside more than I care to be lately.
That's it for now. I'll most likely post again on Saturday after I've downloaded and watched the new Doctor Who episode. Until then, I leave you with the story blurb:
