White Feathers
I hear the rain
Pound against my window
It falls down my face
All the while
I can’t breathe
This tight space
Makes my cage~
I’d fly away
If I had wings
As the rain falls down my face
I feel free
For once
I can see
All the tears fade away
As the sky opens up
The rain falls down my face
This is me
Can I find my place?
In the world
My bright white angel wings
They spread out
I fly away
I see the moon
It’s bigger than before
A pearly white
I open up my eyes
I try to blink
It was just a dream
I’m still stuck in my prison
Then why
Is my bed covered in beautiful white feathers?
