sleeeeeeeeepy
yea, it's 1:03 and i haven't been gettin much sleep lately. i left my friends house 2 come home cause i have to work tomorrow morning- waaaaa! i would say @ least i'm makin money, but i'm not!! i don't know how people can LIVE off of minimum wage, that's amazing. some friend's band came over to my other friends house and were playing in her basement. there were only a few few of us there so we just danced and jumped around. i saw King Arthur the other day, and it was really good. i knew it wouldn't follow the usual storyline, but i still didn't expect some of the things that happened. and the way the set up the storyline devoid of magic was pretty cool. i'm supposed to see Kung Foo Hustle tomorrow w/ my family. ne1 see it?? well, i'm tired as hell so i'm goin 2 bed now. ttyl

my internet's been off- i swear
yea, i haven't had interenet and then i had to leave town for a few days but now i'm back. i feel like i haven't been on in forever. i'll also be working a lot this week too so i dunno that i'll be on much this week either, but i'll try! does ne1 know how to put a real player on ur site to play non-midi-file songs? i need 2 figure that out. . .well, my tummy is beginning to digest itself so i better go. ttyl.

it's been a while
yea, i admit i have been bad about keeping up w/ posts, but i swear i'll try harder! i changed my avi today- do u guys like it? well, neways JAFAX rocked as expected ((cept for the people w/ b.o...)). i'm glad i didn't bring over $60 because i wouldn't be able to stop myself from spending my college money. i got a bunch of pins, Peach Girl vol 3 & 4, Chobits vol 3 ((for some reason i already have 4. . .?)), and & Girl Got Game vol 3. so far i've read my Girl Got Game, and Peach Girl vol 3, so i have plenty more manga to enjoy in my free time. my friend motoko747 and i also got key chain pictures of ourselves done by a girl in the artists alley there who goes to Grand Valley. she was really good, and i'm going to have to find her card and post her site in my next post. we also watched Appleseed ((at my request)) and even tho it was a lil mushy, i thought it was pretty cool. i especially loved the part where she Dunan totally schooled like 16 trainees starting out with only a knife, and marking them off as she took them out by drawing x's w/ marker on her arm. we wanted to go to the Chrono Crusade viewing room but it was packed.

also, i saw War of the Worlds tonight and i thought it was a sweet movie. it was really interesting, and the guy who played Tom Cruise's son Robbie was hott. ne1 else see that movie yet? by now u guys r prolly tired of hearing me talk, so i'll talk more another time. oo- and i'm hoping to have my fan art up soon if not tonight. i drew it all in like 7th grade so gimme a break ((watch me take it out and be too embaressed to put it up)). i've gotten some new ideas for fan art lately too so hopefully i'll be able to put them down on paper soon. i haven't really done any fan art since 7th grade ((just chibi drawings in my notes to my friends)). i'll ttyl

long time no see
yea- kinda haven't been posting anything in a long time. . .but i do have a lot that's been going on. first of all, i saw Grave of the Fireflies for the first time last week and it was really good. i was a little standoffish to see it because i knew it was going to be sad, but i watched it anyways. though it was depressing ((and i cried cough cough. . .)), it was good as could be expected and touching. probably the element most responsible for it being a sad story is the fact that it's based on reality. the war actually happened, children were actually orphaned and starving. it was a good movie though.

on a good note, my good friend motoko747 lent me 2 of her manga collection- the first book of Ai Yori Aoshi and Hyper Police. she looooooooves her Ai Yori Aoshi books, but i liked Hyper Police better. i'm thinking about collecting Hyper Police because it was soo awesome. i dunno- we'll see what happens. u guys should see her site tho- she has this sweet lil video on it. anyone who likes Inuyasha will love it. motoko747 and i are also goin to the JAFAX convention in Grand Rapids. it'll be my 1st con; i couldn't go w/ her to the 1 in Chicago. have u guys been to a con be4? i already know i'll end up spending more money than i should. . . i g2g, but i'll try and write more later.

hey, sup?
yea, kinda not doin much of nething today. i've been home all day cleaning my room ((well ok, maybe i got up @ 12:00 but that's still a long time)). it's like 97, and my dad hasn't put the air conditioners in yet. the whole fridge thing doesn't help but i guess our new 1's comin in tomorrow: sweet. this wouldn't be so bad except that w/ out a fridge- no ice & no cold drinks. so all i can drink pretty much is not-really-cold water. @ least it's cooling down now tho. it smells like it's going to rain too, i love that smell. do u guys kno what i'm talking about? don't u luv that smell? i also luv the smell of my basement ((yea i kno i'm weird. . .)) but it smells so cool, unlike nething else. what smells do u guys like? well, i'll prolly post more later.

poor fridge
well, our fridge kinda died last week. it was making noises and the fridge-doctor told us it was a goner. it's so odd- it's not something u think of happening but it must happen to every1 @ some time right? too bad it's not winter and we can't just put everything outside, we had 2 throw a lot out. we got back last night from Vermont where we went 4 a wedding and we still haven't gotten a new 1 yet either. i miss it; it's funny how much u use it without thinking about it, it's a part of every1's daily lives. @ least our fridge is in a better place now. i also saw the new Star Wars movie 2day ((finally)) and i have to say that it rocked as was expected. i want a light saber.

out of school!!!!!
1st of all- i feel bad for not posting anything in a long time- sorry, i'll be better now that summer is here. finally i'm free! it's such a relief to be out, a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulders ((mainly calculus class. . .)). i've been going to graduation parties this weekend, which can be summed up as: talking, gorging yourself on food, and giving out cards w/ money. i've been having an awesome time being out of school tho, just chillin w/ my friends. i also have another addition to my collection. i couldn't make it to the Anime convention in Chicago, so my friend brought me back a Momiji plushie!! i thought it was so fitting, considering how i am also born under the sign of the rabbit, and was matched up w/ him in my quiz. i haven't decided whether or not to take it out of the plastic yet. does anyone know anything about the movie Appleseed? i saw it in Anime Insider and it seems really good along w/ other stuff, but i'll have to ask about those later. i need 2 go to bed, but i'll try and post again soon.

field trip
i had a pretty sweet day today. i mean- it wasn't amazing or nething, but it wasn't bad either. i went on an art field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago. i loved the Art Institute, and it was awesome to be able to physically see so many works of art that i've seen in pictures and in books. it's like finally meeting someone u've known for so long in person. ok fine, that part was amazing, but everything else was just cool. for lunch i had fish & chips @ the Marshall Fields food court, and it was really yummy. and yes, i ate my chips ((aka british for fries)) w/ mayo on them. be4 u judge, i just have to say that i'm not a fan of mayo, but i tried it and it's pretty good. i picked it up from my friend while we were in England this summer, she said that's how the French eat their fries. like i said, be4 u start to say that the French are smelly and hairy, and weird ((tho sometimes that may be true)) and that u would never try that, u should try it- trust me. i also bought my 1st non Tokyopop manga- yay!!! i have one issue of Smile mag, and a Sailor moon mag, but those don't count. i bought Park Eun-Ah's Sweet & Sensitive from the 50% off rack @ Coconuts. i read it in a manga preview book my cuz got @ a manga convention. has ne1 else read it or heard of it? it seems really cute and funny. well, i'll ttyl.

my week
i had a pretty good week. i was really busy w/ soccer games, work, homework, and volunteer work so i didn't get much sleep- but what else is new? i had a pretty cool weekend too. i went to Chicago friday and saturday which was cool. there was this really interesting article i read 2day though about how anime is growing in popularity in the states, and the possible negitive repercussions that might have. u guys should check it out: [http://www.animefringe.com/magazine/2004/09/special/01.php]. i never really thought that there could be negitive repercussions for anime's growing popularity, but i was surprised 2 find out i was wrong. does ne1 else agree w/ the article? unfortunately, my friends' Ghost in the Shell movie wouldn't play on my VCR, so i'm going 2 have 2 rent it. i'm also addicted 2 my other friends' Ghost in the Shell CD- it goes w/ me everywhere. my favorite songs are "run rabbit junk", "where does this ocean go?", "velveteen", "lithium flower", "inner universe" ((that goes without saying)), "beauty is within us", and "rise". now, looking at the list of my favorites, it's like half the CD. yea, definitely addicted. . .neways, i should prolly do my hw now. later.

don't make me go back!
yea, sadly spring break is over- but i did have fun while it lasted. i went camping w/ some friends, bought Peach Girl 2, hung out w/ friends, and met some pretty sweet people. while i missed some of my friends while they were gone, thinking about calculus class and what'll be for lunch tomorrow makes me cringe. i have a lot to do this week but hopefully i won't be overwhelmed as usual. i'm definately going to really try and keep posting when i can, tho. i'm not usually consistent w/ this type of thing but i'll do my best. yea, so u kno who's really evil? Sae!! she's so psychotic. it's hard to believe that people can genuinely be so cruel, all Momo wanted was to be around Toji! does ne1 else have a hard time not getting pissed off @ Sae when reading Peach Girl? is the Peach Girl Change of Heart Series good? actually, i stumbled upon a site a year or so ago that awarded Sae with the title of "Worst Friend". i think it's hilarious- u should check it out @: [http://www.sleepisfortheweak.org/pages/awards/oldawards.html]. also, one of my best friends lent me her copy of the 1st Ghost in the Shell movie which i will definately have 2 check out asap, but i kno it's gonna rock. umm yea. . . i really should go 2 bed unless i want 2 be late 2 school like i am every day. ttyl
