Naruto: The Epic Adventure!

CHAPTER 10: THE POWER OF FRIENDS! THE SUPER RASENGAN!


Naruto charged in a flash powered by anger and hate shoved the Rasengan into Raz's chest. Raz pinwheeled back into the wall. Naruto growled as he clawed at his head shrieking in pain and then he glowed red as he emitted a red beam that pierced the roof. His transformation ran its course as he began to lose control of his actions.

Hinata watched in horror watching Naruto's four-tailed transformation. He totally looked like a real fox. "Naruto-kun what's happening to you?" She thought.

Everyone else saw the beam and began to run faster to the source. Naruto then stopped emitting the beam and stood zombie like and walked towards Hinata. His headband fell to the floor as he stepped over it. His eyes glowed red.

"Naruto...Naru" Hinata said in fear.

Naruto stood in front of Hinata as he drooled and growled. Hinata froze in fear and closed her eyes as Naruto's fox face came closer to her then stopped. He stroked her hair with his claws she opened his eyes to find him crying. She could sense his spirit and knew he meant no harm.

"Naru...Look out!" Hinata screamed at Naruto.

Raz attacked Naruto's blind side but Naruto turned around to catch the blade and flipped Raz into the wall. Naruto raised his left arm and it got all rubbery and threw at Raz and wrapped around him. Naruto pulled Raz towards himself and prepared another Rasengan only this time it was red and flamy. It connected with his gut and flew back again. Naruto sensed it wasn't over as he charged Raz and uppercutted him into the air. Naruto jumped up after him and threw a punch but Raz blocked it and used one of his free arms to punch Naruto in the face into the throne room. Naruto stood on all fours with the four tails hovering above him. Raz prepares to attack as he ran at a high speed and each of his katanas attacked one after another but each time Naruto's tails would block the barrage.

"Damn! Full power!" Raz thought. Raz then glowed red as his attacks got faster. Soon the impacts were so powerful it shook the whole fortress. Their struggle saw no end it seemed.

Meanwhile the gang gathered around Hinata, Sakura, and Sasuke.

"Is he ok?" Shikamaru asked.

"Yeah I stopped the bleeding but we need to get outta here this place is falling apart." Sakura said.

The place shook as each blow was taken. "What about Naruto!" Hinata asked.

"No time! We gotta go!" Neji said.


The gang left the crumbling fortress and dashed away to the town with the townspeople watching the explosions from afar.

Meanwhile Naruto was still going at it with a fully powered Raz. Raz struck but Naruto ducked and headbutted Raz. Naruto charged but Raz roundhouse kicked Naruto in the face back into the wall into another room. Naruto jumped from the rubble and punched Raz in the stomach. Raz fell over on his back as Naruto jumped up and stomped Raz in the face. Naruto went ballistic and repeatedly stomped Raz further and further into the concrete. Naruto jumped to deliever the final blow but Raz dodged it.

Raz spit out blood. "Is that the best you got!"

Raz threw flames from his swords toward Naruto. Naruto ran and dodged each attack. Then Naruto ran up the wall and leapt and tackled Raz into a wall. Naruto rapidly punched Raz's stomach. Finally Naruto roared at the sky. Raz took the opportunity to kick Naruto into the shower room. As water sprayed everywhere some of it hit Naruto's red fur. It sizzled of it and created a ton of steam. Raz dived in it but couldn't see anything in the steam. Suddenly thunderous blows came from everywhere. Naruto's eyes then glowed red in the steam and punched Raz in the face. Raz jumped through the roof to get away but Naruto jumped up after him and kicked at Raz but it got blocked. Raz grabbed Naruto's leg and threw him into the ground below.

"This has got to end! I can't stay in this form forever!" Raz thought.

Raz landed on Naruto's body breaking the ground. Naruto's tails grabbed each of Raz's arms and flung him into the wall. Naruto attacked once again but his attacks seemed to get weaker. One tail disappeared into Naruto's body. Raz ran and struck at Naruto with two swords but Naruto grabbed both of them as blood dripped onto the floor. The red fur started to revert back into Naruto's body. Naruto was surrounded by a fox aura in his three-tailed state.

"He's getting tired! Now is my opportunity to strike!" Raz thought as his katanas struggled to gain control.

Naruto began to revert to his two-tailed state. Naruto closed his eyes and thought of all his friends counting on him. Then he opened his eyes as they glowed red.

"Yahhh!" Naruto yelled as he broke the katanas in half.

Raz then stabbed Naruto in the chest with a katana and backed away.

"Yes I win!" Raz said.

Naruto fell to his knees as thoughts of everyone ran through his head. blood dripped through his wound.

"What are you doing!" A demonic voice spoke at the back of his head.

"I don't think i can go anymore Fox. I'm exhausted." Naruto said back.

"And this is from the kid who made a promise to protect the one he loves!" The fox yelled. "I may hate you but i hate losing ten times more! Now you get back in there and fight!"

Naruto stood up as the two tails stood over him and he glowed red. He pulled the katana outta his chest and broke it in half. His wound regenerated.

"What! He's still alive!" Raz said. Raz got angry and charged Naruto.

Naruto held up a familiar hand sign and made a clone. They both held out their hands and a large Rasengan appeared. They charged Raz carrying the large Rasengan together. Raz's katana connected with it and the impact exploded.

From far away the gang watched the explosion engulf the entire fortress as dust and pebbles flew towards them. They covered themselves as the wave of dust and rocks hit them.

"What was that!" Kiba said.

"I don't know but check it out!" Neji said.

The gang looked to find a carriage carrying King Yunko in it escaping the battle zone. King Yunko's carriage rode away but the horses stopped in front of Neji. Lee and Choji ripped off the side doors. Shino stepped inside to find a frightened Yunko. Shino grabbed him by the shirt and lift him to his face.

"You messed with the wrong village and now you must pay!" Shino said as bugs crawled on his face which only frightened the king even more. Shino threw the king outta the carriage onto the dirt ground.

Kohaki who was holding Kiba walked to the king. "You're reign of terror is over Uncle. These Leaf ninjas risked their lives to save their loved ones and now you will pay the ultimate price!" Kohaki looked behind her to find the townspeople cheering them on.

"Oh Yeah! We win again! Now lets celebrate with some barbecue!" Choji said.

Ino and Shikamaru got annoyed and they both punched Choji in the head. "You idiot! Not now!" Ino said. "Yeah we have to find out if Naruto's ok!" Shikamaru said.

"Kohaki you stay here and keep an eye on the king." Kiba said as he gave a kunai to her. "And use that if you have to." Shino took Kiba from Kohaki and everyone dashed away.

They went to the fortress which was now a large crater. "Hey i found him!" Tenten said pointing to the left.

Naruto laid unconscious in his ripped pants. His body was cut and bruised all over his body. Hinata and the others ran to his side. Hinata grabbed and held up his head and stroked his hair. "Naruto.....wake up please."

Naruto's eyes slowly opened as the first thing he saw was Hinata's face. "Hey beautiful."

"Oh Naruto I thought you were dead!" Hinata said with tears of joy.

Tenten, Sakura, Ino and Temari look confused. Did Naruto just give Hinata a compliment?

"Ok did i missed something here? Do they both like each other?" Temari said.

"Yep! our little Naruto has finally seen through his dimwittedness and finally realized Hinata loved him for a long time." Sakura said holding up a armless Sasuke. Sasuke smirked at the remark. Everyone laughed.

But laughter turned into despair when the rubble a few yards away started to move as a bloodied and cut Raz emerged. "Why is everyone laughing! You're still dead!"

Everyone's eyes widen as they couldn't believe he was still alive after that explosion.

"Surprised huh? I can cheat death thanks to my former boss, Lord Orochimaru! But I left him years ago when i found out i was a tool to find him the real weapon in his arsenal, Itachi Uchiha. I thought i was supposed to be the body! Orochimaru used me and I'm now some king's bodyguard! My power was the strongest! So i adbandoned the plot to get Itachi and left Orochimaru to find a new purpose and i found it in King Yunko! And now you Leaf punks had to mess it all up!" Raz said.

Naruto stood up clutching his left arm. "Its broken all right but i can still fight!"

Hinata stood up also. "Naruto you can't! You're hurt!"

Neji stepped in front of her. "It's his fight we let him fight it alone! That has always been Naruto's way for as long as we can remember."

Hinata looked away but found something twinkling in the dirt. She ran and cleaned the dirt off it. It was Naruto's headband. "Naruto wait!"

Naruto looked behind him to find Hinata running towards him. "Hina..." She kissed him on the lips. Then she tied his headband on.

"You dropped this." Hinata smiled.

Naruto blushed a deep red. "Thanks." He held out his right hand. "Hinata give me some chakra"

"Ok.." Hinata held out her hand over his and a purple and blue swirl appeared.

Neji walked over and put his hand over Naruto's and a white swirl appeared with the rest.

Lee walked up and did the same thing and a green swirl appeared.

As did Tenten a red swirl.

As did Ino a yellow swirl.

As did Shikamaru a black swirl.

As did Shino a silver swirl.

As did Kiba a brown swirl.

As did Sakura a pink swirl.

As did Sasuke a dark blue swirl with his only hand.

As did Choji a orange swirl.

And last Temari a tan swirl.

The Rasengan was full of colors like a little rainbow typhoon. Naruto contained the chakras and it all turned a bright white and glowed.

"Thanks everyone!" Naruto said. "And Hinata if i don't make it I want to let you know that I love you."

Hinata's heart fluttered. Oh how long she waited to hear him say that. "I love you too!"

Naruto smiled as he started to jog then gained speed. He held the glowing Rasengan as he charged.

Raz's curse marks came only halfway on his body. "Bring it on kid! You're were the first to push me this far but it ends here!" Raz lifted his katana and struck at Naruto.

Naruto ducked and pushed the Rasengan into Raz's chest. "Take this! Super Rasengan!" Naruto yelled as the Rasengan burned Raz's chest. The force of everyone's chakra overwhelmed Raz as it exploded on him instantly disintegrating him.

Naruto put down his burned right hand. He felt to his knees then fell on his stomach. He passed out.

Hinata and the others rushed to his side. "Is he gonna be alright?" Hinata asked.

Sakura put down Sasuke and checked Naruto's pulse. "His pulse is slow but he will live with some well deserved rest." Sakura smiled.

"I guess the little guy is more powerful than i last remember him." Choji said.

"Yeah that's why i want to beat him one day." Sasuke said clutching his armless wound.

Sakura sighed. "Honestly you two amaze me with your little rivalry. I don't know what to do with you two anymore."

"Well we all need to get to stronger if we are to prepare for the Leaf Ninja Tournament next month. The winner gets to be Jonin!" Lee said with a fire in his eyes.

"Yeah but me and Kankuro are already Jonin in the sand village while Gaara's the Kazekage." Temari said.

"What a drag! My girlfriend is a higher rank than me!" Shikamaru said.

Everyone just laughed as the sun shone on them all. Naruto's eyes opened a little peek to look at the sky and saw a cloud formed like the fourth hokage smiling at him. Naruto smiled before passing out again.
