   Naruto: The Epic Adventure!
CHAPTER 16: PROCRASTINATION!! NARUTO AND THE CHRISTMAS GIFT!


A day has passed and Christmas is in full bloom. Christmas is everywhere in the Leaf Village. On the houses, the clothes, even Tsunade got into the christmas spirit by wearing a santa hat with the hokage symbol on it. It seemed like everyone was in the Christmas spirit. Including the Leaf Village's Number One Hyperactive Knucklehead, Naruto Uzumaki.


"Its almost Christmas!" Naruto said as he woke up besides Hinata.

"Good morning Naruto-kun." Hinata said slowly awaking.

"Good morning Hinata." Naruto kissed her passionately as he groped her body.

"Oh Naruto stop. You know we can't keep doing this all the time. Remember? We had to go Christmas shopping today." Hinata said playfully knowing she really didn't want to stop.'

"Oh yeah." Naruto jumped out of the bed. "What are we shopping for again?"

Hinata stepped out of the bed herself. "We are shopping for Christmas gifts and party supplies for Ino's party tomorrow."

"Oh yeah gifts!" Naruto looked in his dresser for his trusty frog wallet he always had as Hinata went to go take a shower. Naruto found and placed it on the dresser and steadily creeped up behind Hinata as she walked to the shower door.

She noticed Naruto behind her and turned around. "Nuh-uh-uh." She shook her finger in disapproval yet playfully. "No taking a shower together or else we won't get anything done today."

"Yes Hinata." Naruto said all sad-like. Hinata kissed him on the cheek as she walked into the shower and shut the door.

After a while both took a shower and got dressed. Naruto wore a silver poncho over his black and orange jumpsuit with boots. Hinata wore her purple and silver jacket with baggy pants and a pair of boots as well. They both left for the Leaf Village Mall at noon. They both walked in it hand in hand.

"Oh Naruto-kun! Look at that christmas tree!" Hinata pointed to the giant christmas tree. "Its so cool"

"Yeah Hinata! Its awesome!" Naruto stared at the tree.

Naruto and Hinata bought so much stuff that Naruto had to use his Shadow-Clones to carry all the bags. They paid for all their stuff and took it to Naruto's apartment. They sat it all down and fixed up Naruto's whole apartment with christmas lights and ornaments. Naruto's Shadow-clones worked long and hard at putting up lights and a tree with presents underneath. Everyone had a present.......except Hinata!

"Holy Shit!!!! I forgot to get Hinata her christmas present!!" Naruto thought but Hinata could sense his distress.

"What's wrong Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked.

"Oh its nothing Hinata darling! I just have to visit Kakashi-sensei for something." Naruto lied.

"Oh ok i'll go with you."

"No no no." Naruto shook his hands. "I'll do it myself. You just sit here and look beautiful for me."

"Awww....ok Naruto-kun. You hurry back now." She kissed him.

Naruto quickly put back on his poncho and ran out into the snow. He trudged through the snow that came up to his knees. He went to Kakashi's house maybe he could help Naruto out.

Naruto knocked on the door. "Kakashi-sensei! Are you there?"

Kakashi shirtless opened the door to a creak. "What is it Naruto?"

"I need your help and....do you have someone in there?" Naruto asked trying to peek inside.

"No." Kakashi tried to obstruct Naruto's view. "What do you need help with?"

"I need to find a Christmas present for Hinata quick! Christmas is almost here."

"How would I know? Try Neji. He's from the Hyuga clan as well. Now if you don't mind......"

"Oh Kakashi! Let's continue playing Make-Out Paradise!" A girl's voice spoke out.

Naruto was shocked. "Was that Anko-sensei's voice I heard Kakashi-sensei?"

"Well look at the time! You better hurry Naruto! Christmas will be here soon!" Kakashi slammed the door.

Naruto was deeply confused at what he just witnessed but he didn't have time for that now. He had Hinata's present to go get. He dashed over to Neji and Tenten's house. He knocked on the door only for Tenten to answer.

"Naruto? Why are you here?" Tenten asked.

"I need to see Neji quick!"

"Ok calm down! Neji-kun! Naruto is here!" She yelled in the house.

Neji walked down in a black shirt with white pants and his hair was let down. "What is it Naruto?"

"I need your help Neji! I need to find a present for Hinata! But i have no idea on what to get h er!" Naruto confessed.

"Ok Naruto! All I know is that she loves stuff like toys and stuff like a little kid. She's kinda cute like that every year." Neji said.

Naruto thought it out. "Hmm. Thanks Neji! I think I have a pretty good idea on what im going to get for Hinata now." Naruto left.

"Awww he works so hard to please Hinata. So Neji-kun what are you going to get me for Christmas?" Tenten asked.

A big sweat drop formed on Neji's head. "Oh look at that! I have to go help Lee with his christmas tree!"

"I'll help Neji-kun!"

"No no no" Neji shook his hands. "You stay here and look beautiful. Wouldn't want you to get dirty." Neji kissed Tenten and ran upstairs to get dressed and then left.

Naruto ran to the toy store in the mall and ran all around searching for the cutest gift he could find.

"Ahhh! Im never going to find a gift in time!" Naruto searched all the shelves and didn't find any gift he could decide on. Naruto then found a big teddy bear but thought it was too original. Then a light bulb went off in Naruto's head. He touched his long black headband.

"I had a blue headband before i left the Leaf Village 5 years ago. Its still in my room.......maybe i could........that's it! I use my old headband and put it on this teddy bear and with the help of Sakura i could make a teddy bear version of me as a kid! Its perfect im glad i thought of it! Naruto Uzumaki you are a genius!" Naruto jumped up and down in joy as he picked up the teddy bear and bought it and ran to Sakura and Sasuke's house.

Naruto knocked on the door. "Sakura! Are you there!"

Sasuke answered the door. "What is it Naruto?"

"Sasuke is Sakura home?" Naruto asked with a giant teddy bear in his hands.

"Isn't it a little early for christmas Naruto?" Sasuke said pointing to the bear.

"No Sasuke! Its for Hinata and I need Sakura's help with it."

"What is it Naruto?" Sakura said coming from behind Sasuke.

"I need your help with this thing!"

Sakura's eyes lit up. "Awww....is that Hinata's?"

"Yeah but I have a great idea for it." Naruto stepped inside and explained the whole situation.

"Awww.....you're making a little you! That's so cute! Of course i will help you! Just let me get my sewing machine! Im a pro at this!"

Sasuke groaned.

"Sasuke show Naruto the sweater I made you!" Sakura ordered.

Sasuke walked and put on a red sweater with the Uchiha symbol on the front and Sasuke's whole name on the back. Sasuke was itchy in the thing.

Naruto laughed his ass off. "Look at that thing!"

"Don't listen to him Sasuke! We are going to wear matching sweaters at the party tomorrow and we will look so cute!"

It took a while but Sakura stitched Naruto's old jumpsuit and his old blue headband onto the teddy bear. It looked so cute!

Naruto held it up. "Not bad! A pretty good looker isn't he!" Naruto held it to his face for them to see.

"Im sure Hinata will love it!" Sakura assured. "Now let's get to work on our matching scarves Sasuke-kun!"

Sasuke frowned and walked over to Sakura but Naruto laughed some more. "Yeah Sasuke-kun go work on your scarves!" He said mockingly.

Sakura gave Naruto a death stare. "Do you want me to kill you! Cause you know I will!"

Naruto stopped laughing and left quickly. He arrived home but realized he just couldn't walk inside with Hinata's present he needed a diversion and hide it. He thought of a good plan. "Shadow-Clone Jutsu!" Naruto produced a second Naruto. The clone knocked on the door as Naruto went and hid in the bushes.

Hinata opened the door. "Naruto-kun! You're back!"

"Hinata! what did you do while I was gone?" The clone started a conversation with Hinata as he led her to the bedroom while the real Naruto wrapped the present and hid it in the secret compartment he had for his stash of ramen he had Hinata didn't know about. He cleared out the ramen and put the present in there and put the ramen in the kitchen cabinent. He then took off his poncho and jumpsuit jacket but needed an excuse once Hinata sees through the clone. The clone poofed away and Hinata got surprised. She walked out to find Naruto snooping around the presents.

"Ahem!" She said.

"Aww you caught me!" Naruto said putting on a show.

"Naruto now you know you have to wait for christmas this tuesday." Hinata scolded.

"Im sorry. I want to know so bad!"

"Here I got something to keep your mind off of the presents." Hinata walked into the kitchen and brought a big steaming bowl of ramen.

"Yay ramen!!!" Naruto kissed Hinata and ate the ramen. "Mission Accomplished!" Naruto thought.
