This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Yo yo. Happy Halloween, everyone. Er...
"Great Halloween, everybody!"
"I believe it was our most horrible yet! Thank you, everyone!"
In case you didn't know, I was quoting from one of my favorite movies, the Nightmare Before Christmas! Speaking of, who among you (aside from the friends who went with me to see it) has seen Tim Burton's newest stop-motion masterpiece Corpse Bride? I loves that movie! On another note, the Physics class I was taking that was bound to be the end of me (none of you peoples know, considering my absence from the otaku from the past few months. I just don't have time, y'know?) has now been replaced with the wonder that is Philosophy! This happened just today, so I am in celebration! I am also in celebration because our play (which opened last weekend) was smashingly awesome! Granted, there was a stupid football game during our opening night (stupid school schedule and planning. Shroud, you ought to be ashamed of yourself!) and only about... well... fourteen people came opening night. On our Saturday matinee (which sucked becuase we had NO sound cues for the first act) brought in an audience of about eight, and our Saturday evening performance dragged in around twenty, which made the cast very happy although that is still a very small number. Anyhoo, it runs next weekend, too, and I have to remind myself to call Fantasyfreak with showtimes... Ff, if you read this, please try to call me on my cell phone before Thursday (but call after school!). Anyhoo... The second of those two quotes I have up at the top...
(I'll give you time to scroll back up and read it)
... is the quote I said during our Saturday evening performance to my fellow cast members. Except I replaced "Halloween" with "show". Have you read Deathnote? It is very awesome and very addictive! This coming from a girl who has Collette, the angel of innocence, as her background! Ha! Anyhoo... I'm elated that I'm now a philosopher and not a physicist (although I doubt I was much of a physicist to begin with...). I'm also elated at the creation of my new Gothic, romantic, fairy tale of sorts. Maybe it's not a fairy tale, exactly, but it IS gothic and cool! So... I'm gonna go now... Maybe I have time to watch the Nightmare Before Christmas before going to bed... I probably won't be back on for awhile, so I guess this is goodbye! Until we meet again, dear friends!

I've Been Drafted (but not into the army)
Yesterday I was recruited for the school play! I went to play practice to my brother who was in the play (I wasn't. I didn't try out becuase I thought it'd be too stressful with my schedule) because my dad had a piano lesson and couldn't pick me up. The new drama director (she's not acutally a teacher at our school, but if you meet her she exudes that "drama teacher" air. Like the kind they stereotype in TV shows and movies) asked me if I could act becuase two people had dropped out of the play (leaving them with a grand total of six actors), so I shrugged and said "yeah." She had me read the lines for one of the drop-outs and voila! I was in the play. It's an awesomely hilarious comedy set in Russia. It's a Neil Simon play, so it's good (for those of you who know not of Neil Simon, he's a famous playwrite and I pity you). Anyhoo... Now I'm really tired lately. Whatever. I'm having fun, so I should be happy! And I am! Sorry I haven't posted in a while... I doubt I'll have much time to anymore, so just bear with me, kay guys? Thanks! Ja ne!
*Think of a wonderful thought. Any happy little thought. With just a sprinkle of pixie dust, you can fly!*

Oh, heyyo.
I'm soooooooo tired. I stayed up late last night (Rice Flinga was over!) and walked in the Race for the Cure today... Um... I also had to help out at our band's rummage sale yesterday. It was really boring. But I have some pictures that I'm working on (I keep thinking I'll finish one, and then I start drawing a new one! It's a bad habit...)! Also, The Oracle, Rice Flinga, and I are making something very cool but unrelated to anime. I can't tell you what it is, so don't ask. Anyhoo... I guess that's it for now. I have to go do my *shudders, groans, and sighs* Physics homework.
Talk atcha later!
Ja ne!

Current Mood: Giddy. Nope, wait... yup. Giddy.
I don't know why, considering it's supposed to be Crappy Monday, but today is a super day! I remembered the weekly color schedule (something I made up about every day of the week having a color), and remembered to write it down so I'll never forget! I wish my friends (in real life) didn't all play sports... It's really boring being by yourself after school and thinking of all the funny things you have to say and the nobody you have to say it to. Anyway... I'm in one of those "really wishing I had some money" moods lately, especially since there's so much good a-ni-me! and that a lot of really cool video games are coming out during this month and the three that follow it. Such as Trace Memory for the DS. That game looks pretty cool. Anyhoo... I hope you guys'll check out my new picture once it's up! And I'm sorry if I don't go to your sites very often, I'm a very busy person. Y'know, my thumb hurts pretty bad, but I've learned to ignore it (and the general gnarliness of my thumbnail in general). I've learned to ignore a lot of pain in my life because I feel like I've been through everything. A random haiku:
I want some candy
Sugar makes me so happy
Do you have any?
Whee! Wasn't that fun? Okay, so... until next time, ja ne!
*Now please think of a random DDR song of your choice!*

Owwwwieeeee!
Okay, I'm sorry for complaining, but I'm in a WHOLE lotta pain right now. Yesterday I went to the doctor (left during school) to get my thumb checked out (it's really gross). My regular doctor didn't know what to do about it, so she sent me and my mom over to urgent care at the hospital. We had to wait literally four hours once we got over there. No kidding. We were there WAITING from 12:15 to 4:30 PM. Plus, it took about an hour for her to check out my thumb and come to the conclusion that it was infected. I had to have three little holes burned into my thumbnail so the infection would drain out. It hurts! It hurts! And if that wasn't bad enough, I was due for a Hep. A shot, so my mom let them give it to me - IN MY LEFT ARM! MY WRITING ARM, MY GOOD ARM! So I kinda had doctor's orders not to play at the football game last night (sorrry, Shroud!) and plus they put me on this medication that's these HUGE pink capsules! I told RiceFlinga something funny about that... So I don't have any new art for you. BTW, does having 20 pictures make you a senior artist, or is it something else? So......... ja ne!

Oh no!!!!!!
I tried to stay happy all week, and actually succeeded... Until Monday of this week (yesterday for me). It was terrible, I got really depressed and felt really sick and in pain, and it was just awful. Today, my first day of school, was better (I had Japanese, yay!), but now I'm feeling really bad. Okay, so I finished that English work, but my teacher closed the link to the site I was supposed to turn it into online four days ago! So I can give her the hard copy tomorrow, but she said she'd count it as 50% off! I'm really scared. I don't want my mom to get mad at me, but I don't think it's fair because I didn't know! I did have fun with FF on Friday, though. I wish she could've stayed longer... I wish my friends could always stay as long as they wanted... Anyway, you can stay on my site as long as you want, until your mom yells at you to get off the internet (which mine wouldn't because she's extremely nice). So, I'm gonna go. Enjoy my picture once it's up! I know (or at least hope) RF will! So... Ja ne...

Gonna Have a Good Time Tonight!
Okay, I have to get off right after this so I can finish my English work so my mom won't get mad at me! in just a little over four hours I'll see Fantasyfreak! Yay! We'll have so much fun playing video games and watching anime and eating pizza tonight! May all the rest of you have a good weekend, too. And please keep the victims of Hurricane Katrina in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
I had an orthodontist appointment earlier today, and they said "you're not brushing good enough!" My dad had dropped us off, so my brother and I walked over to Lloyd Center after my appointment (fun fun fun!). We had lunch there, and this new Japnanese restaurant was giving out samples of teriyaki chicken. I passed by there twice (not on purpose) and got two samples, but the second one was really spicy. Seriously. My throat's still hot! It hurts a little, but I'm still happy. My brother and I looked around and saw some REALLY cool stuff, but we couldn't get anything because we only had enough money for lunch *sigh*. There was a whole lotta cool stuff, though!!!
Aaaaand... *drumroll please* I'm almost finished with my English assignments!!! I only have to finish my "novel review sheet" and I'm done! My brother's almost beaten Ocarina of Time now (we never got anywhere in the N64 version because by the time we got the game there were a lot of other cool games we go hooked on. So now he's trying to beat the Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition version of the game on the Gamecube.). That game's music makes me happy. Especially Saria's Song, Hyrule Market, and Gerudo Valley (which my brother says is depressing music, but I think it's just plain cool). Anyhoo... I'm gonna go check out some art before pestering my brother to play Zelda some more...
Who's with me? Yay! Ja ne!

And I laughed and laughed and laughed... *Oh, no one's listening to me. Oh well...*
Okay! I'm in a super happy mood!
*to the tune of "Nichiyoobi" from Taiko Drum Master* Even though I procrastinated and haven't finished my English yet, I still feel happy.
Okay! So I'm partially in a good mood thanks to osoraku's comment (thank you, osoraku!), and partially in a good mood because of a funny internet cartoon I just saw (the real funny kind, not the stupid kind), and partially in a good mood because ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS, FANTASYFREAK IS COMING OVER ON FRIDAY!!! Yay! Plus, my brother's been playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time lately, so that makes me happy. I'm really happy, but I have to get off the internet and work on that English assignment! I'm going to try and stay happy all week! Okay! Ja ne!

Guuuu.....
Okay, so I'm in pain in multiple places at once. Yesterday, before I got in the shower, I hit my leg on the corner of this chest at the end of my parents' bed. I scraped and bruised up my leg pretty bad (no foolin'). Also, my thumb has been killing me lately! I'm scared. It's even been bleeding from under the nail... Is that normal? There's a bunch of black and red dried blood underneath there, too... It's gross and scary and it REALLY REALLY hurts!!! Oh, plus I had a dentist appointment today. I got a shot in the side of my lip, a filling, and my mouth is really numb. But I have nothing against the dentist and none of you better say anything bad about them, either. My mom's a dental assistant (she worked on my mouth today! ^-^). The dentist she works with (and everyone at the clinic she works at) is (are) really nice! But that doesn't stop my mouth from hurting... And I can only eat on the right side of it because the left side is where I had the shot and filling and all that. Wait a second... Bruise, thumb, mouth... All on the left side of me!! Well isn't that weird and somewhat ominous? And it's supposed to be my good side, too! Well, I'm working on a picture of a character I did, but I've never colored him before so I don't know what colors he should be yet... Might be a while before I get that twentieth picture up... Also, does anyone have any suggestions for an uncommon but still normal Japanese family name? I have a character whose last name I scratched because it was stupid, so now I need a new last name. Here's some more info: traditonal Japanese style family (own both a dojo AND ryotei) living in a modern city. But they're not old-fashioned or like Amish Japanese people or anything. They're just traditional. So anyone who has suggestions that would be okay for me to use in my story, I'd be happy to hear them.
I also have to still do that English assignment stuff... I've read the two books, but can't get onto the class website 'cuz my access code isn't right. The other book I read was "Of Mice and Men." Sad story. Very sad. But you sorta knew it was comin'... Anyhoo, how come all classics in literature end really sad? I mean, they can be noble and epic endings, but they're still usually sad. Ah well... I guess I'll go see if my English teacher fixed the site yet (and can you believe school doesn't even actually START for another week for me?)... Ja ne...
