   Guess What?!
I just downloaded One WInged Angel to my MP3 player! That song totally rocks! Yay, thank you FF for commenting on all my pictures! I'm so music-obsessed lately. Like, I downloaded (thanks to Rice Flinga) the soundtracks to three Miyazaki movies and some other songs. Anyhoo... I really want a buncha FMA stuff from Hot Topic, but my mom says I can't 'cause we're trying to save money for Disneyland. There was this REALLY cute Chibi-Al keychain and two pins and some t-shirts, and why the crap don't I ever have money? Don't tell me to go get a job. I don't have the time or the resources to get to the aforementioned job. Unless I worked at the Hollywood Video up the hill, but I can't do that till NEXT year... So, yeah, and tehre's no one to babysit. I have no way of making money. Ah well... At least I'm going to Disneyland soon. Whatever. I'm logging off now. Gonna go listen to some more One Winged Angel...

   I'm uber-happy today!
Okay, so yesterday my brother, Rice Flinga, and I all went to see Howl's Moving Castle together. The Oregonian gave it great reviews, and with good reason! That's an awesome movie! I was excited because it's the first Miyazaki movie I've seen in theaters! Now I can't wait till it comes out on DVD!!! Anyway, I'm gonna check my fan art in a little to see if anyone else has commented (haven't checked since last weekend!). I go - and watched - the complete first season of Magic Knight Rayearth (I couldn't remember if I'd said this in an earlier post or not). It's... okay. Not my favorite. I mean, Presea DIES for freakin' cryin' out loud! That's just dumb. So, I'm thinking of adding some fan art maybe this week... Next week I'm taking a class on flash animation! Exciting, no? I'll be able to make funny little cartoons! My brother can make his YGO music video idea (he's taking the class, too). BTW, we both just finished making the totally awesome-est remix CDs ever! His is dance stuff, mine is just random songs I like. So mine sucks, but his is cool... Anyway, thanks to Winged Elf Girl for giving me advice. I agree that I do need to work on my anatomy stuff (I KNOW anatomy, I just don't apply it very much AND some of my artwork is from last year), but I also sometimes screw up my pictures when I ink them and decide not to go back and fix it (I'm a lazy bum...). So anyway, I really appreciate constructive criticism unless it's coming from one of my certain real-life friends who does not have an account on the otaku. Telling people how stupid their character's faces look or making up dumb thoughts that they're supposedly thinking isn't criticism. It's stupid. S'anyway, thanks and I'm gonna end this post now because it's gotten too long! Ja ne!

   New Friends, New Art
Hey! Thanks to everyone who's commented on my art and signed my guestbook! You're all added (or will be here in a couple minutes) as friends. I'm gonna upload two new Yu-Gi-Oh! pictures in a sec, too, so I'm really happy. I'm also working on a ToonMasta picture titled "Beach Party."    Bittersweet Week
Okay, so first of all my brother's at camp, which to most people would be a blessing except that my brother and I get along well and I've been really bored without him. Except yesterday I went over to Rice Flinga's house because her brother's at the same camp as mine. We checked out the internet, watched the first two FLCL episodes, listened to music and drew, and went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory (I love that place). Plus, my mom bought me (with my money because I wasn't home and she found what I wanted) the first Full Metal Alchemist DVD! It's in English and Japanese and has a lot of cool special features. I'm also going to upload a ToonMasta picture today (so it'll be up on Wednesday or Thursday)! I told my brother I wouldn't watch the FMA DVD without him (he LOVES FMA, at least the manga), but I watched the first three episodes anyway. I couldn't wait until Satuday. I'm a terrible lying sister. Anyhoo, hopefully my two best friends can come over sometime this week (HINT HINT, Fantasyfreak, you better call me!). Um... does anyone else really like Tales of Symphonia? It's such a good video game, and it should totally have an anime series (hey, the cut scenes are anime, why can't there be an ACTUAL anime?).    Ma Pix Are Up!
Okay, so I know they may not be that great, and I have a lot to learn about drawing, but let me just defend myself against sharp criticism. My Nightmare picture was drawn over a year ago, so I realize how much it sucks. My Sugar Please picyure was drawn in September or October or something, and I must say I've improved since then. I don't know how old my Cynthia and Morgan pix are, but they're from last year, too. And then there's my Strange Trio, which was drawn a couple of weeks ago, actually. Um... maybe once I ink and color some I'll upload a couple of Toon Masta pix! Yeah, there's a story that uses my screenname. MY story that uses my screenname. And RiceFlinga's, too! Anyhoo... I've said too much! I'm gonna go get drawing, since I've finished all the new manga (actually, two manga and the first issue of Shojo Beat) that I got this week! See ya later! Ja ne!

   Almost Forgot...
Ooh... I almost forgot! For all yous who didn't know (which is practically everyone). A couple weeks ago I died my hair purple and it looked awesome, but it came out when I went swimming at the pool at Crooked River. We still have enough dye to re-do it, though, so I might! Also, what do you think of my angelic blue Colette makeover? I prefer it to my old "froggy green motif" thing. Whatever. BTW, for those of you who've been feeling bad for me and sympathizing over my broken thumb, thanks so much! It's really not so bad anymore. I still have to wear my little metal thingy that comes off, but I can still write and draw. I can't move my thumb and it still hurts pretty bad (the fingernail is black, blue, and white all at the same time and looks weird when I take my thing off because the rest of my hand is tan and my thumb's really pale! hope it healas soon...), but I'm doing alright. I'm glad I've met so many cool and nice people on the otaku. Crap, I'm going into an Oscar Speech Monologue. Better stop before I take it too far. BTW, I'm currently obsessed with comedies and old movies because I am on an anime shortage (no anime at the video store that I haven't seen...) If you have any movie suggestions, I'll gladly hear them! Just not R movies... This time for real, Ja ne!

   Happy Funtimes! Summer's here!
Yes! I got all of my awesomely awesome (er... not really. they kinda suck, I guess) artwork up! It should be up in about two days! I got back on the 4th from camping with Fantasyfreak at Crooked River in Oregon (where I live). It was SO fun! Once I send FF the picture she drew when we were up there (she gave it to me to scan), she should upload it! I also learned that I'm going to Disneyland in August! Super awesome or what? And my brother and I should be getting the Japanese version of EarthBound (Mother 2) in the mail any day now! I'm so psyched! I'm giddy! I also just got re-hooked on Animal Crossing. Fun game fun game. Nothing can spoil my summer now! Nothing! I'm so happy and inspired! I hope you guys like my art. I might do some Yu-Gi-Oh! fan art soon. I have a lot of ideas for good pictures. Right now I'm saving my money for the first Full Metal Alchemist DVD. Like I've said, not having cable means no good anime , so I have to save like crazy to be able to buy anime DVDs. Why is there so many good manga and anime in the world? I don't have enough money to buy everything I want AND I'm way too indecisive to ever pick one thing out that I want! You cable people should not take Cartoon Network for granted. Some of us really envy you. Anyway, I'm done for now! Talk to yas all later! Ja ne!

   Grr...
Crap! It turns out my picture files are too big to upload! I'm not very computer savvy, so I need someone to help me figure out how to fix my problem. They're too big in MB size and in how... big they are... Yeah, and, umm... I don't know what to do. So while I would LOVE for you to see my artwork, you can't just yet. Hopefully I'll have my problem fixed sometime this week, which, BTW, is my LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! Only three and a half days of school left (Wednesday through Friday are half-days at my school this week.) YEAH! SUMMER IS COMING AND I'M SO HAPPY! But due to many things happening, I'm behind in my classes so I'm gonna log off now and do some hardcore homework. Ja ne!
