   Christmas Break!!!
I can finally sleep! It's Christmas break!!! My first present of the holiay season: an awesome new hat! I'm a hat collector...

I'd love to get a neko-eared hat someday... Or one of those Fruits Basket yuki hats...

Anywho, on Wednesday and Thursday my family's going to be in Seattle doing Christmas shopping, so don't expect to hear from me...

I'm trying to find a Christmas wallpaper for my site... Can you think of anything? Oh! Here's the new question of the day:

What's your favorite RPG? It may be a dumb question - and not really a holiday one - but I wanna know. Mine is either one of the Tales games (probably Symphonia) or EarthBound! EarthBound forever!

   Cwap...
I forgot that I had a children's book about craniosynostois due in anatomy today! I'm writing it... I haven't started and I lost my research...

Um... I'm really sleepy... I also have a Great Gatsby essay to write, but I'm doing it on color, so it should be pretty fun...

Ooh! Today I get to teach about Nietzche because we ran out of time last class! I'd teach you about Nietzche, but I doubt any of you guys are interested in philosophy...

Thus my next question of the day:

What theme do you most like to see in an anime? (this means underlying message, not "gothic" or "violent" or "samurai." Like in ToS it would be that every being has a right to live...)

   Now I'm Bored... Why?
I had so much stuff going on that now I'm bored that nothing is going on... How strange it is!

My Christmas party is on Friday, and I am preparing like a madwoman... I hope it goes well!

I've been reading fairy tales as research for my ASYLUM story because I can't find any books on mid-nineteenth century history... I have a book called Grimm's Grimmest that is the violent and creepy stories of the Brothers Grimm. It's helpful and interesting...

Do you people read things besides manga? I assume you do, but I'd like to know what authors/books you guys like...

I ask poll-type questions to get people to respond in posts... How sad am I! Anyway, until I post again,

   I couldn't resist Jade the Necromancer!
So I changed my avatar... Jade Curtiss is my number one favorite Tales of the Abyss character. I'm so excited! I got a Jade pin at Kinokuniya today! I'm wearing it now! Yay!

I also bought volume one of Kamen Tantei, a manga about some mystery writing highschoolers and a mysterious detective whom I believe is the main character of their stories... It's by Matsuri Akino, author of Petshop of Horrors, so I really wanted to read it... So far I like Petshop better...

My tests are done, as well as the Mock Trial! It went fairly well... I only spoke for the defense, and the judges (they don't rule on the case, they just give criticism/praise to the participants) kept saying how good the other side's closing arguments were... But we made a better case for sure!!!

Well... I finished some art for my college portfolio... I don't know if I have enough, but I think I can make do with what I do have... I'm supposed to be doing English homework right now, so I'll get back to you later...

Last week of school before Christmas break! At our school, it's Christmas Spirit Week! It's like regular spirit week, only you dress up Christmasy... Whatevs.

   I'm Multitasking!
I'm simultaneously writing this post and doing my Great Gatsby homework. That was a good book, but I was disappointed in nearly all the characters by the end of the book...

I just finished reading Zombie Powder volume 1 yesterday. It's pretty cool. I like all the characters, but I think C.T. Smith is my favorite. He's cool, funny, AND he's got glasses! Yay for glasses characters! Did you ever notice that they're almost always the coolest characters? (except, of course, for Coby - however you spell it - in One Piece). And of course, some of my favorite characters don't have glasses...

I have a Mock Trial tomorrow and bowling practice today... And the ACT on Saturday... My work is piling up again... Christmas break, please hurry up!

I got a really cool little philosopher finger puppet of Nietzche! Do you know who he is? Well you should, because I'm doing an independent study on him and he's funny even if I don't agree with his ideas...

   I'm SOOOOOO Relieved!
I may be sleepier than I normally am, but I've finally finished most of my work... Whew...

Yesterday there was an origami convention downtown and I went with some of my friends from Japanese class. It was really short notice, and FREAKIN' COLD downtown. I should have dressed warmer...

I'm excited about Tales of the Abyss again! It was kinda annoying for a while, but now it's cool. Luke cut his hair and has promised that he will change! Guess that doesn't mean much to some of you...

All my friends are getting sick... I would have stayed home today, but I had too much going on. Man, I'm on the Mock Trial team, the Bowling Team, and I'm part of Drama Club... This is my most eventful year ever! Plus I'm the president of J-MASU, which is not really going anywhere... I need some really good ideas...

That said, what would you do if you had a Japanese Media Appreciation Society that only met for about half an hour during school once a week? Watching anime is practically out of the question unless we schedule an after school event... Ponder this. I'm interested to hear what you would do! 'Till death do us part... or not...

   I was freakin' out!
I was supposed to have a HUGE paper due today, but my computer broke down and I lost everything I had been working on and had to start over. Luckily, my very nice government teacher is giving me the weekend to finish.

I also have an art portfolio and test this week. Tomorrow I have to take a placement test for the school I want to go to and my portfolio is due really soon. That wouldn't be a problem, except that I have lost my binder of artwork and most of the artwork I have done is not what the portfolio is asking for...

In any case, I'm waiting for Christmas break because I really want a break for school. I'm too stressed out the way things are. Oh, and as I've said before, I'm typing this at school because my home computer is broken. This means that I can't get onto deviantart becaus the server blocks it - why they don't block this site is beyond me. Not that it's bad, the school just has a "no video games" "no anime" policy.

Anyway, I've had some breakthroughs with ASYLUM, but nokthing I can post. I came up with a design for a very important symbol in the story and I also created the weird rhyme that precedes certain events...

I'd like to get to work on my homework - especially my government paper - now, so until we meet again...

   So frustrated! And hurt... (emotionally...)
My friends are jerks! I mean, I'm not really mad at them, but they hurt my feelings and don't seem to care - and I'm sure they're aware of how much this hurts me. They decided yesterda without me that they wanted to switch my character in the scene we're doing for drama. Apparantly I'm not tall enough or energetic enough for the role I was given. When they asked me if it was okay to switch my character, I didn't understand the question (they didn't ask it flat out, it was more of a "can you live without your role as so-and-so" and since I have a life I said "Yeah, I guess")

I feel angry and ignored and... yeah. I told them it bothered me and that "I'd rather not switch parts with someone else," but I don't think they really cared... Maybe they did and they just didn't say anything...

I also lost my cell phone, and my mom is kinda pissed and kinda scared that some weirdo stole it. I'm kinda scared, too. Good news is... I got nothing since last time...

Oh, but it's snowing! And I still have school... Everything is double edged with me... Sigh...

New Manga!
Yay! I got some new manga! I got D. Gray-Man volume 3 in English, and I got the first Tales of the Abyss manga and the second Tales of Symphonia manga in Japanese. I'll start translating those once I'm finished translating the Ocarina of Time manga, but that may not be for a while...

I really want some Copic markers now. I want to color in style on good paper, but those markers are expensive and the ones I got a couple years ago are lost (I only had about five, anyway). I feel the need to draw art, but not the means...

Stuff got me thinking about music, and music gave me ideas for characters for a new story - yet to have a plot. I'm trying to come up with character names first, and they're all named after types of songs. The types are all classic - not like pop, rock, country. They have names like Fugue, Lullaby, Sonata, Requiem, Ballad, etc. Y'know, different kinds of songs. I'm thinking of turning to Zelda games for more ideas because there's lots of music in those games. I'm thinking about calling this story "Maestro" something. It needs another word...

Anyway, I really hope you peeps check out my art and I really hope I put up some new stuff soon. Until we meet again...

   Ohhhhhhhhhhh man...
I'm more tired than ever today... I want to sleep badly.... But I... have... good news...

I'm working hard on ASYLUM! Just thirteen more characters to go... or is it twelve? I think it's twelve... I can't actually work on the story until I get all of them done, so It's kinda annoying...

I made up some cool new ones. Do you guys want to see my ASYLUM characters, or what? 'Cuz if you do, I'll work on drawings of them... BTW, Doodle, I think you should color that picture of Camille and put it up... Oh... I forgot that I'm the one who chose colors for it... Well, I'll put one up and then maybe you can put up yours!

Let's show our notebooks at some train station... Wish I could watch the Deathnote anime... I can't even watch it on youtube because our internet is too slow! I have a lot to read for school today...

Maybe I'll do some Tales of the Abyss fanart, too... I like Jade because he's super cool, but I like Anise because of Tokunaga - that thing is AWESOME! I also like Dist because he's funny... Have any of you guys - I know Doodle probably hasn't - played TotA? It's fun...
