Area agents charge 6 in Decatur meth raid:

Morgan County authorities charged six people in connection with a raid on a Decatur home suspected of harboring a methamphetamine lab.

Agents searched the 3312 Upper River Road residence of Gregory Wayne Crow, 38, and Paige Parnell Hardiman, 36, on Friday.

James Paul Black, 42, of Hanceville, Crow and Hardiman all face charges of making meth.

Sheriff Greg Bartlett said agents trailed Crow and Hardiman to stores in Decatur and Hartselle, where the two allegedly bought chemicals used to make meth.

Crow faces an escape charge after allegedly running while handcuffed from officers who escorted him from his house to a transport van.
