   Number 80 / I don't know
Top 100 Japanese Music Artists: Number 80

09/12 - 80. Yuzo Kayama Some guy that sings oldies songs lol. Looks like he's from the 60s or early 70s. Stuff I wouldn't listen to Japanese or not.

Today was one of those days. I woke up and did some shit around the house. Then I came into my room, played a game of hockey, which I'm about to do again, while listening to the radio, which was rather funny. I've come to realize the funniest two words on the face of the planet are "face pirate"... lol. Which is closely folowed by Butabara! Anyway... then my dad came home, put in some new 6-1/2" Sony Xplode speakers (soon I'll have the 12" Sony Xplodes woot) into the truck which were pretty cool. Then we headed on over to the bowling pro shot for me mum and dad... I ended up buying new bowling shoes. Me mum got a new ball, dad got one refitted for him. So now everyone has new balls lol. Then off to Don Pablos (a mexican restaurant) to eat some yummy chimichangas. And I played that new Wrestle Mania game for the GameSquare. It was ok, could have been better.

I'm trying to think of things I should do here on a regular basis. I have the Top 100 up there, but thats ends December 1st or sometime around there. I have Simpsons quote of the week and that Strong Bad e-mail thing I do... but I want more... like I should review songs or albums or something? Or movies? Pick whatever it is you'd like me to review or do whatever on. Anything from hot boys to video games (although I don't play many of them) And be serious cause I know some of you will joke around ::glare:: So thats your assignment. I wonder how many people will respond.

While this is still fresh in my mind. The file sharing war that many of you are oh so familiar with (RIAA) exceeds far beyond the audio land. There's a whole seperate group of people dedicated the sharing of movies/TV shows. (new, old, screeners, etc) This is mostly on the backburner as it seem the RIAA has taken the lead step over the MPAA in this file sharing none-sense. Honestly when it comes to movies, I upright steal them. I DO NOT buy DVDs unless I really like the movie (LOtR, Star Wars, etc) and over the last... oh 6 months... I've downloaded well over 200 movies, new and old. I do go see movies at theaters and I still buy some DVDs, obviously when downloading them you don't get the special features... but I download alot more than I see or buy. Recently one of the biggest distributers of sig2dat files for Kazaa tanked. Which sucks. This had been my main sorce for movies cause, as anyone knows even with music, there are hundred of "fake" files around.... the same is for movies... I'd download a movie, lets say the most recent being Identity, and it'd end up being a completely different movie, in this case it was Fast and The Furious, which ironically I already own on DVD lol. FastTrackMovies.com and their sig2dat files eliminated those false files. Allowed for correct files to be downloaded in times worth. Anyway, they went down, dunno why, but I hear it was a virus attack or something, nothing to do with the MPAA or RIAA, not that its their jurisdiction. I often wonder if theirs a large following behind the downloading of movies as there is with mp3s... all you hear about now-a-days is music files being shared.... in fact the only time you hear about movies on the internet is when some big movie (ie Star Wars Episode II( is released and before it's actual release it's already online, which was the case for EpII, cause i had it downloaded before I went to the opening show... however those tend to be crappy "theater" versions, which means they are filmed with a home video cam in a theater somewhere. Nothing incredibly good. The only good ones we get are older DVDs or DVD screeners put out by movie companies. Anyway, Do the same thoughts go for the movies as do the music? Or is this a completely seperate issue that is supposed to be delt with differently?

Edit: Correction, apparently the MPAA did shut the site down. Based on what I dunno? They contained no copywrited files on their server. Just sig2dat files which used kazaa to locate the correct files for download. Is this right? Or are these companies pulling shit out their ass like always?
