   Happy Birthday, Dad..my hero, my friend...get better please!
Long time no write huh? I'm sorry..I have no excuses, just an apology.
I hope you guys have all been doing well. I'm okay.

Today is my dad's 58th birthday..and yesterday the doctor told him he has cancer. Happy Birthday, huh? He's so optimistic..he's not letting it phase him..but me? I'm trying hard not too let it break me down so much.
He said don't be so sad, don't worry, I'll be all right. Since it's his birthday, I'm trying to follow his instructions as part of his presents.

*sigh* I just don't know what to do except to have faith. Every thing happens for a reason, and I'm just gonna have to believe in God and know that dad will get better.

Not even the thought(s) of Richard Cox is helping....and you all know how much I LOVE him. But maybe I can get distracted by him and other world events.

I'm so sorry the Pope died..he lived for so long being so sick...the gunshot wound, Parkinsons Disease, throat surgery. And still he was there for everyone else. I don't know who they can get to succeed him, but if they don't pick someone good, I know lots of people will be confused and upset. The pope did so much for so many people..he hardly thought about himself and his problems. Even in death he was able to unite people. Did you see all those world leaders who paid their respects for him at his funeral? It was awe-inspring that even for a day, they came to honor him and put aside all their differences.

I'm sure everyone is back to doing what they do best now.

This world is so great and so strange.

Speaking of strange, gas prices stink. Makes me want to not go to work if it keeps getting so high. It's bad enough my car doesn't have AC or a working radio (I listen to anime theme songs on my cd player--how lame is that?), but now I have to shell out even more money a week for gas? Why?

I wanted to save up for the new Case Closed starter set *sigh* but I'll have to wait a bit longer now.
Can you believe that they might not show the new eps of Case Closed on Cartoon Network? How long will it take to get the episodes they did show on DVD? I'm not talking about the starter..I want the last 3 eps they didn't show from season 3 on DVD, and I have no clue when they will put it out episodes 48, 51, and 52.

And on that note, I have to get ready for work.
But here's something to think about: Don't you think the music FUNimation put on Fullmetal Alchemist is hot? Why is it Adult Swim is having a hard time with ratings on Saturday late night other than the fact that people love to go out on Saturday night and they should move anime to Sunday? And would Richard Ian Cox marry me?

I am trying to lighten my mood...and maybe yours. ^_^
