Whew....it's been awhile, yet again...but I have just been putting off writing.
My father had his prostate cancer surgery and is currently home recovering for the next couple of months. He did so well at the hospital, they let him go home within 4 days of the operation. For those of you who hate gory details, he didn't get stitched up only stapled--- on the inside. For those who love gore, the outside is wide open. lol It really is..but it's healing and every day it starts to close. It's about 3 1/2 inches wide, but if my dad hadn't been overdoing it with the walking and how he sits down and gets up, it would be a lot closer to closing by now. I'm just so grateful to God that he made it out of the surgery so well. He's been getting cabin fever since he can't drive anywhere, he can only be driven and since we all work so much, he doesn't get much chance to get out unless it's to the doctor or something. But he does walk to the head of the road and back..so he gets his exercise.

So, I've been the second attending nurse, if you will...and working two jobs at the same time, hence why I have wanted to write, but didn't find the time.

Got a couple of raves and rants before I sign off for the night.
I LOVE Samurai Champloo because of the action...I think I have this anime fever for imaginary guys with swords. That has to be it lol
But the show is pretty quirky...and I like the action and flow.. One thing I don't like is why....Why....WWWWWHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY does Steve Blum have to be in it? Everywhere I look now, his voice is like the main character or somewhere in the show. I don't like the guy...and it has a little to do with Big O (BLECCH) but mostly to do with this interview he did a while ago.
So I'm trying to just ignore the fact that it's his voice as Mugen (but I'm very glad Jin's the cute one).
Paranoia Agent looks so freakishly weird..I like it..but I'm ready for some Lil' Slugger action. Nothing like random beatings with a golden bat to make you wonder what is going on in this show.
And, finally, the show I just couldn't wait to see what all the fuss was about-- S-CRY-ed--- and lo and behold who should voice the lead? Steve Blum! It ain't a conspiracy..but I REALLY DON'T LIKE HIM. Just couldn't stress that enough, folks.
AHAHAHAHA
I know you all love him..so you can have him.
I'll take Richard Ian Cox's pinky toe over Steve Blum ANY WAY..

*sigh*
I'm so glad that new episodes of Inuyasha are being shown. It kinda feels weird..like there's an episode missing since it had been a while since they showed the last new episode. The action to come looks hot..I just can't wait for Saturdays!!!!
And my guilty pleasures before the anime gorge are Zatch Bell and One Piece. They're such funny shows..I really like them. And their theme songs have grown on me..

So I'll leave you guys with this and get my booty to work.
