So when, will it end... so when, when will we meet my friend?
What's up animajor freaks?
Hope all is okay in your worlds.
I feel so sad and helpless for everyone in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. This country always comes to the aid of others when disasters strike, or at least we do if our aid is accepted, so I think this time around, shouldn't we help ourselves?
I think that the idea of having cruise ships housing all those people is a GREAT idea. I mean they all have lots of food, water, room. Now if only cruise liners would just jump on the bandwagon. Those people, especially the ones in the projects and those in dire medical need, deserve to be helped out in any way. I'm gonna donate to the Red Cross, if I can. So far, one of our tv stations has collected over $35,000 in donations for the Red Cross. It just breaks my heart to watch the news. The war in Iraq pales in comparison. This hurricane really was like a mini tsunami. :(
I had a friend who lives in Louisiana, but I lost his email addy, and I don't remember where in La. he lives. *sigh* There are so few old friends I keep in touch with.
Ever had that problem? People you thought you'd be friends with forever and ever end up on your "gone and forgotten" list?
When I used to go to AOL Chatrooms, I had so many friends on my buddy list...but they weren't true friends, just people who liked to gossip and cause drama and laugh when you're down.
I find that I don't miss the ones that were like that. I miss the ones who actually saw past all the crap and just wanted to talk and laugh and encourage.
*bigger sigh*
I WANT WINTER!
Yeah, today's post is all about whatever I'm thinking about at that moment.
I can't find any of the names of the english versions of ending themes from Yu Yu Hakusho. Darn that FUNimation!!!! I KNOW Jerry Jewell sang that last ending song before AS took yu yu off the rotation. There is something so odd about his voice, but I cannot lie: he makes the best freaky bad guy. As barry the chopper, but in the suit of armor, he was hilariously bad. He was perfect! He should be a screaming bad guy more often.
You know that's all the actors @ FUNimation do anyway: SCREAM.
Espcially when they worked on DBZ. They had to have hurt their vocal cords often. lol
I remember someone did an interview, I don't remember if it was Sonny Strait or John Bergmeier...I think it was J.B., and he said that's what you could hear most often while working on Dragonball Z. Yelling, screaming, just being loud..you had to, too many fight scenes.
I cannot find the name of the ending theme song on tv from Samurai Champloo. I'm gonna have to do some digging.
For now, I'm just gonna start looking up lyrics to j pop songs I like. Sometimes I like the music better than the show. I liked the ending themes for Outlaw Star, but I paid little attention to Gene and his ...crew? I dunno. He always looked so much older than the rest....kinda creeped me out. That's not fair of me, after all, I hardly watched the show. I should have, but it was not what I wanted to see. But the music was cool.
*yawns* I don't seem to have much to say tonight..and no one's written to me about the anime conventions, you jerks.
I'm going to bed before I forget my daydream about Richard Cox.
One of these days, that man is gonna offically tell me to stop thinking/dreaming/wishing/wanting/ hoping/needing/pining of & for him.
Until then, my imagination's the limit!
Ciao for now kiddies..and welcome back to school
^_^
Take care,
Patrice xoxoxo
