   well im back..
Hi there all..im in a good mood and well im goining to share it.(rather than my usual i hate the world stuff..)I have jus got back from a week with the army in a "look at lif course" man it was great.
we did field drills, conact drills, firing and manouvering
FIBA(fighting in a built up area) canooing assault corse, map reading, strecher race(ok this one hurt like hell but oh well) i met loads of new people and we all got on well. we were divided into two 10 man sections,which where then futher split into two 5 man fire teams, charlie an delta. we parctised all our drills in these sections and got now the people in your really well. I was rather pleased as i got made platoon sargent and was in charge of fire team delt in 1 section. But the best part of the whole week were the excerises. we did two night excerises one section attacking and one defending, each section spent i night as defender an one as attacker.
The first nightthe section i was in was defending a hille an trenches from enemy attack. my fire team had the crappy job of actuly manning the trenchs an the hill whil charli fire team got too do a ambush on the enemy.(sitting for 2 hours in a freezing trench with the only thing keepin ya warm is the odd patrols we run is NOT FUN!)but it was a laugh an i got killed(some ass grenaded my trench) but we got are revenge the nxt night when we got to attack them when they defended a house in the middle of no where.
we tore them apart both fire teams got fr closer to the house than we expected(although my fire team crawled for a mile through mud along a fence to remain unseen.) the other section did a really cheaky thin an alked up to the house with the corpral, del(fire team had a proper soldeier with em) an lobbed genades in the window berfore egging it!! well i could go into more detail but the post id huge already so i wont...but afterwards the corpral saiid we did F*&king ecelent and preformed all the right manouvers. i had a great time i know have a massive cold and chest infection but it was worth it! i think ive found my career. thanks if ya took the time to read all that!
