December 24, 2007 ~ For 12/25
Well, yesterday... Not much bad luck, I suppose. Minor bad luck, minor. First with the movies issue (last post) and I felt sleepy sometime after I came home. Maybe around 5ish, 6ish. So I went to take a nap. But I wasn't really planning to go to sleep! But hey, you have to expect to fall asleep if you're sleepy and you're on the bed... So I did. Around 8-9, my parents came home, made dinner, called me to wake up. I heard them, but I didn't wake up. Usually, I would. But yesterday, no. Instead, I woke up around 11:30PMish. I thought to myself, "Huh... Saturday already, huh..." while lifting my head to look at the clock, and then put my head down. Two seconds later, I shoot up from the bed and look around me. "Pretty damn dark to be Saturday!" And I get up from the bed and walk around the room... The computer's still on, so I turn on the monitor. Wohohohoa... I was blinded by the light. It was a good thing I kept the computer on for a good reason, or else it'd all be a waste of electricity.Well, it was kind of late, I'm kind of tired, but I decided to climb back in bed anyway. Lied there for like maybe 3, 4-5 minutes... Then thought to myself, "But that'll be so much sleep..." So I got back up, turned the monitor on again, got blinded, and sat down. Sat there for awhile... Until my eyes got used to the light. Then I got hungry. Went into my room (I don't sleep in my own room), went to get something, but I woke up my mom by trying to find the Stop button on the radio she was playing from. She said, "Are you hungry?" I said yes, and she got up from bed and got me something to eat... Asked me why I woke up so late, I said, "I don't know..." She said it could've been because I was cold. It could be, it was kind of cold, but I can't be positive about it. I mean, it's possible, but I don't know. So... I just finished eating like 45 minutes ago or so. Now I'm drinking soda, and I kind of regret it. It's like 1:17AM right now. I think I should take my friend's advice and wake up at like 6AM tomorrow (technically speaking: today)... To make up for the time I've wasted and stuff. I'll see if I can do that. Hopefully, I can. It'll be like trying to wake up for school, but earlier. Lol. Usually, I'd wake up at maybe 6:10-35AM for school, but because I'm so lazy, and it's cold, it rather ranges from 6:30-7:00AM.
Ah, right. I also posted up something new. It's called 'Backstabber.' I drew that sometime yesterday before I took my "nap." It's not really animeish or anything, just see for yourself. Leave comments if you have any! I'm pretty sure you'll have something to say, a person always has an opinion on something. They just choose whether or not to say it. Yeah, so... anyway, leave a comment or not, your choice.

So I uh, figured out something for the prizes of contest. There will be none! Sorry, I can't think up anything, just this time around. Maybe in the next contest, there will be something. So sorry guys! But it's just great even finding out what place you got into, don't you think? I'm extremely happy when I find out I'm in first place, second or even third. Otherwise... ehh. Lol. I'm sorry guys, but requests are open if that makes you any happier!! Requests... are ALWAYS OPEN!! I'll even put it up in my profile!

Just because I suddenly feel like working on myOtaku a lot, I went down my list of friends here at myOtaku and commented on all their art. But akai-ryu was the first one on the list, so I commented on all his... 48, I believe. And now it's 4:16AM, and I feel exhausted. And I know I have someone on my list who has like... 108 pieces of artwork. Woo, I don't know, that's going to knock me out. Yes, I just have that much time right now. I am so wide awake, I feel like it's 10AM in the morning. I could probably stay up all night, but I should get just a little more sleep and then attempt to wake up at 6AM. Well, I'll eventually go to all your sites and comment on all your art. It'll just kind of take some time. Hehe.
Don't get mad or anything if I say something that kind of sounds mean on the posts, though... I don't mean to hurt your feelings or anything, I'm just criticizing the artwork to tell you what might be wrong and what could be fixed/adjusted for it to make it look better. I know I'm not the best or most talented artist or anything, but I know if there's a problem in a piece of work.
Well, I suppose I'll go to bed or something now. That'll be like 2 hours of sleep for me. It'll kind of be like a real nap I'd take on a normal afternoon.

Oohh... It's finally come to this day again... Friday the thirteenth. Surprisingly, when I was asked to go watch The Grudge 2 today after school, I found out that today was also someone's birthday. Hope he has good luck all throughout today, at least!
Well, we ended up not going... Because things didn't go out as we had planned it. Well, I didn't really plan anything, I was just following around, because I'm probably the last one to be notified about it... Actually, I already knew what was going on, I just didn't know I'd be asked to go. Anyway, yeah... So we didn't go watch it. Kind of sucks, but ehh, I guess it's no big deal. Maybe I'll go watch another day, who knows.
If anyone has already watched it, how is it?
Mm... I don't really have much else to say. The contest is still in session and stuff, so feel free to join. You can read the rules by scrolling down, or go to my Archives, if you don't see them on the front page. Or, you can click the banner above, where it says 'Icons/Avatar Contest!' and it'll bring you to my site where I also have my rules listed. I think it's better if you read them here though, because I revised the rules there. Well, both works, no problem.
I might post something up later on, I don't know... I feel really lazy right now, and I don't know what to do. Kind of bored... Well, I'll see what'll happen.
Oh yeah, it was an awesome idea that they let us ramble on and on never-ending on the stuff we post up... But I think it'd be an even cooler idea if they made the characters unlimited on what we want to put up in our profiles, don't ya think? Because I sure do have a lot to say! And in the future, I'll want to put up a couple stuff that currently won't fit from how the profile is now at all.

P.S. Oh yes, a lot of you probably couldn't get to my last edit in my last post... So, I put up a new theme and stuff last night, and I want to know how it looks on your screens. If anyone has a 1024 x 768 (I believe) resolution, would it be alright if I asked you to 'Print Screen' my site and show me how it looks like? That'd be really kind of you, really, thanks a lot!
But if you can't do that... Please tell me where the wallpaper cuts off 1. horizontally, and 2. vertically. Thanks so much!

EDIT:: Woohoo! I finally put up a new theme. Supposedly for October... Halloween and all. I had a hard time choosing something nice that would be related to Halloween and it was black and orange, so I just crossed out "Halloween" and put up something black and orange. Lol. I think that's alright...
I set the wallpaper size according to my resolution, so I don't know if the wallpaper will look cut off on your screen. Tell me how you guys see it!
Well, I finally found out how to do the fixed thing with background... I mean, without the whole color stuff on the menu and behind the journals thing. All thanks to my very good friend, Mei [m3ia]! Thank you soooooo much!!
Oh yes... I created something using only Adobe Photoshop... Digital image, I suppose you can call it. I named it 'Mother Nature Is Angry'. Hehe... Click the link below to check it out!

Well, as the title says! One is a request from living4him at DeviantART. You can see my DeviantART account on the link above, where my introduction is. The other one is a picture of Chii I used using a model from a magazine called Newtype USA. I had it colored unlike a lot of my other drawings... I like how the coloring/shading came out, but it's way too bright when I scanned it. I don't know what to do about it, though, so hope you like it anyway!
Oh yeah, I FINALLY got my scanner working again. That's the good news. The bad news is... I still haven't gotten a lot of the requests done. Lol. I'm so sorry. Hold on a bit longer, please!!
Oh yeah, I'm revamping my site, The Last Good-Bye Productions. I'm going to start holding contests and stuff, because they're so fun. Especially if you're the one judging!! I think I'm going to start with a Wallpaper Contest, since everyone (I think) knows how to make that kind of thing. I was hoping to make a Layout Contest, but I don't know of a lot of people here that knows how to work on those... Or maybe I just didn't learn that part of them. Well, if you DO know how to make premade layouts, please comment and tell me! I would love to know!

Lol. It took me FOREVER to get all that stuff done that's in the site. That site is what's left over of my two years of work on that site... And the only thing I'm keeping there for ehh... keepsake are the web layouts that I've made during my time with Areno-Yuuki. So yeah... I'm leaving it because I want to start fresh at another site. I haven't gotten everything of that up yet, though. Man, how I can imagine how long I'm going to take for that. Lol. In time, though, in time...
So if you like designing and stuff, there's a site there for you where you can download the layouts I've made. I'm really proud of... some of them. Lol. Well, if you ever need any premade layouts, you can go there.
