December 24, 2007 ~ For 12/25
Yeah!! It's my birthday, it's my birthday~Haha... Yeah, I know I've mentioned that like three days in a row now, but I'm just so excited. It's 12:03 AM right now. I should go to sleep soon, though, because I want to wake up much earlier tomorrow so time isn't wasted on sleep. Haha.
Well, no new drawings or anything. But I was cleaning up my room and the papers that were everywhere earlier, and I found some poems and stuff lying around. I thought I'd post it up, just for the fun of it.
This one was done two years ago, on December 2nd. It's from English class I had, that I had to write a poem about a story I read. The book I read back then was, The Time Warp Trio: See You Later, Gladiator by Jon Scieska. There's no real title to the poem, but here it is:
Playing innocently is what we do,
Running into trouble is what we knew.
Simply turning the cover of that book open,
And in a scene somewhere else, we pop in.
"Let this book leave me alone,"
I screech in a high tone,
"Transfer yourself into another zone!"
Meeting new people isn't so bad,
But ending up fighting something 2x larger makes me mad.
How can the ridiculousness end,
Will it, or will it not, I'll rend,
But then again,
There's no way how I can possibly tend.
That's exactly what I wrote. I didn't make any changes.
I also found another one, which I don't remember the exact date or even the ranging date that I started working on it. But I didn't finish it yet, so I thought I'd post it up when I finish that up.
Well, that's all for now. After I go to sleep and wake up, that's when the real celebrating begins!!

And sorry for the lack of updates! I might be back with more after the 10th. Saturday's my 16th birthday! Yay~
Now that I have 500 hits, I can finally post up that artwork I kept in my drive for awhile now.
Anyway, I got that ocean scenery idea from Mei (myOtaku: m3ia), because it was originally just the girl on a gradient background. She said it looked weird, and suggested the ocean. And then I also added her shadow.

Well, I just finished coloring something. It's the picture Girl In Green. I think it came out horribly. I'll understand if you don't look or don't comment.
Well, pretty late... I was hoping to get in bed by 1:30 AM or so, but guess that didn't turn out as I had hoped. I want to wake up early tomorrow!! I don't want to sleep till 1:00 PM anymore! (Yes, that is actually the approximate time I wake up on weekends. So UNFORTUNATE.) I have got to get my lazy butt off that bed! And I should start doing some exercising, too.
Well, about the donations... I don't think a lot of you got the message last night, since I did post it pretty late, although not the next day (technically speaking, right now, yesterday).
So... I thought I'd use the copy and paste technique! Even though I already have the information in my profile (above), I don't think a lot of people see it/pay attention to it. So here! The exact same thing from the post from... two days ago!

Yay!! Finally, I got a new theme up!
Actually, this is the exact layout I made for Anime Kichigai. Except, I took off that title and 'version 12 Holiday Gift' and replaced it with 'designed by Saeki Midori'.
Phew! I feel so exhausted now! And my hands are so cold, they feel so numb, it's hurts to type! My neck is tired, my body feels stiff, and I'm SOO HUNGRY!!!
Well... Not much else. Didn't really get to do any artwork done. I did more "work" (like designing "work") than play (referring to drawing, etc.).
I'll see what else I can do by today. If nothing... Still have a whole life ahead of me! Heh heh.

Hi! Lol.
Sorry about umm, worrying you guys, if that's what happened, yesterday. Everything is fine now! So that really good news. I had a lot of issues lifted off my shoulders these two days, so I'm really happy. Picking up on my studies, and feeling more confident during classes. Yup, good news, good news.
Well, the problem was just that I thought a friend of mine was mad at me... Lol... But I managed to pick up the courage and talk about it straightforwardly... And he said that he wasn't mad at me and just some... internal conflicts. So... we're all normal and I can bother him again. [Grins] Hehe... Sorry about being all pessimistic. Gomen, gomen!
Nothing much else. I almost hardly had the time to do what I wanted to today, that's why this post is kind of late. But I just thought I'd post to say I'm feeling really good now!

I'm back! Hmm... I thought I'd change the theme before December started, but designing takes time for me, and I like to be a perfectionist... And that requires a lot of time, so I didn't think I'd be able to get things done by tonight, so I thought I'd just stick with a simpler layout for now, and when I return from school tomorrow and finish whatever I need to do, I'll get working on the new layout. So... Yeah, lol. Just felt like saying that!

I've decided that everytime I can't think of a proper title for a drawing/piece of work of mine, I'll just call it "Passerby" and the following number. Heh heh, yeah, that's it.

Okay, so I couldn't help it. I couldn't wait until December came... I know, it's only in TWO days, but yet I still can't wait. [Slaps self] But don't you like the new theme? It's pretty simplistic, though. I don't want to spend so much time on something more complicated when I'm going to change it in a matter of days.
Yeah, I know I don't like pink... But, this is sort of leaning towards red more, right?? Well, no matter, really... I just think it looks kind of nice.
I also drew and colored something new in preparation for the 500 hits I was getting... But I don't know, my eyes must have been playing tricks on me. I thought I needed two more to get there, but I'm off by like half... Well, a little less, but all the same. So... yeah, I thought I'd post it up when I actually get 500 hits. So I guess I did it much earlier, huh?
Well, not much else to say, and nothing really new. I broke my record already with the whole trying to draw or post something new every day. Ah well.

YES! YIPEEEEE!!! I finally know how to convert layouts for myOtaku use!! I used several of my own premade layouts and tested them. YAY, I COULD DO IT!!!
HOWEVER! I am still having a little trouble regarding the size of the font... [cries] Maybe it's just the problem with using FireFox, I don't know. But I know the majority of it!! It wasn't really all that hard! And I did it all on my own!! I feel so happy. [Adds this into 'Achievements'] Hehe. Well, if anyone could help me fix that problem, or have any advice/ideas about it, I would love to hear from you! Thankies!

That would have been my original name, but this account was made like two years ago, so the name was never thought about until maybe a year ago or so. As the title suggests! I didn't want to look dead, lol. I don't know. Just random.
Well anyway, unfortunately, nothing really new... I was going to start coloring something new, but I couldn't find what would be "easier" to color, so I didn't start anything yesterday.
Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.
I feel a really huge urge to change the theme of my site, but I told myself that I wouldn't change the theme until the beginning of every new month. I also want to learn the HTML to myOtaku, so I can make my own layouts. I love making layouts, so I'm really interested. Except I'll need to find the HTML, which I don't know if it'll be difficult or not. If anyone is willing to tell me... that would be awesome.
Well, basically, nothing much new... Today's my brother's birthday, and he's in Texas right now... He called and really brightened up my mood. We had an awesome 10 minutes and 23 seconds conversation, haha. I'm planning to buy a gift for him and sending it over, so that would be a pretty much late birthday gift, but hey, at least he's getting something. Lol.
Well, I always have a hard time deciding what to get for a guy... So anyone have any suggestions? Lol. It would be appreciated, I'd love to hear what you guys have to say.
