The Dream
Polaris sits back and yawns, his eyes still half closed and his lips stuck to each other refusing to part. It is 11:21am and Polaris just succeeded in opening his mouth, finding great amusement in actually recording that he did. Turns out Polaris feels better in mornings whenever he wakes up early and lies in bed watching TV, that usually wakes him up.
Polaris scratches his chin; he really needs a shave, but was currently far to lazy to actually get up from his comfortable chair right now. Taking a deep breath, Polaris begins to contemplate on the dream he had. It was very much something out of the movie "Alien" combined with the videogame "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl"; he found it quite entertaining:
Polaris was in a facility of sorts, didn't seem to hi-tech, but he does remember seeing ice, or some other smooth white surface, somewhat like a modern military base in the arctic or something. There were people other than Polaris there... it's all very fuzzy right now; trying to remember a dream is like trying to keep sand from slipping through your fingers. But Polaris does remember people, and he remembers that there was a lockdown; himself and most of the others were safe, but there were still others outside with the "aliens". Polaris decided to go out and rescue them, only to come face-to face with the monsters, or "aliens".
This part he remembers vividly, thanks to it being something from the videogame S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The aliens were... black, with many legs, but they were a bit small, about the size of a sheep, though more spider-looking that anything. Polaris did have a weapon but shooting them was a nightmare: for one thing, they could turn completely invisible, but still distort the area where they are, much like one of the mutants from the game. For another, they moved fast, too fast for Polaris to keep up, also much like the game, but that was because of the sluggishness of Polaris's CPU.
At any rate, Polaris did manage to get some thrills as he tried to shoot the aliens, who didn't seem so offensive... Polaris cannot remember what happened next though, but... perhaps he was successful, he vaguely remembers such.
Polaris looks at the time and laughs; 11:33am. He was wasting time talking about dreams inspired by horror movies and videogames; Polaris laughs out loud. He looks out the balcony, the weather was dreadful; overcast. Polaris hates overcast, "Either start raining or beat it" Polaris muttered at the dark greyish clouds...

A Good Evening
It is now 9:00pm and Polaris is quite happy. There he sits along with his younger brother listening to videogame music, specifically the soundrack from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for the Nintendo Gamecube. Yes, it is a game that's bright and bouncy and, as polaris labels such things, "fou-fou", but Mario Kart is such a fantastic game to let off some steam and just have fun.
Yes, Polaris loves his games, some more so than people... no wait, Polaris retraces his thoughts to discover that that was untrue. Polaris's favorite games include the likes of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. ... which also won Polaris's personal award for "Longest Name". Polaris chuckled at this thought. He never tires of that game; while the game itself is leniar, it follows a fantastic storyline of betrayal, redemption, and exile. Absolutely fantastic to have a mentor who beleives in neither white nor black, but a shade of grey. Also fantastic is perhaps the villan: Darth Nihilus, Polaris's all-time favorite videogame villan right after Sephiroth
He eats life, devours it, entire plantes are stripped of life to their very core to satisfy this thing's hunger... it was a man... sometime...
Polaris is still quite happy as he sits typing. The music has stopped and his brother is gone, but he had a rather nice time with a close friend of his. Polaris smiles and looks up, relaxing his feet. and thinks about his friends: all of them unique, all of them loved by him, all of them close to him. He will never let any one of them down so long as they continue to love him.
Polaris declares whoever finds this robe un-beautiful to be... intolerable.
....and Polaris just laughed at his own statement. Scratching his head, now 9:13pm, Polaris finishes typing his last post of the day and hopes it does not go ignored. Nor his site for that matter; he shuddered to see plenty of ten-page guestbooks while his is but a page, but he laughed at the same time.
Polaris also uploaded some music onto his site, it reflects him quite well. Polaris wishes everyone good day as he stands up and leaves at 9:15pm.

A Slow Morning, Part 2
...Polaris returned home, kicking off his shoes and getting his watch off his wrist, and sits down to type. It is now 1:33pm and Polaris has a headache.
The first thing Polaris does upon his return is rummage through his wallet. $200 cash plus $600 in the bank... not nearly enough for what he has in mind. Polaris is in need of upgrading his CPU and expanding his hard drive, not to mention get a DVD writer. So Polaris thought he would buy a new PC altogether and trade in his old one. The difference will be $460... plus Polaris has to pay and additional $100 for his wireless internet; he's three monthes due.
Polaris, getting depressed, tosses his wallet aside and sits down, feeling thoroughly helpless and broke. On top of that, both his mother's and brother's birthdays are coming up, on the twelfth and eleventh of April respectively; he will need to buy them something.
Polaris rams his head onto the desk and actually begins to talk to himself: "Wow... I really need to upgrade my PC... but I need to pay up.... and my family's birthday.... arrgh" Polaris needs advice...

A Slow Morning
Polaris, having just gotten dressed, sits down and thinks. It is now 12:05pm, first day of a relatively short easter vacation, but Polaris didn't mind; ANY vacation, be it short or long, is good enough for him. Polaris cricks his neck slightly to the right and contemplates on his day. His room is still a mess, as it always is after he wakes up. He has to be somewhere in a few minutes, though he really would rather not move.
Polaris slumps back and sighs; he'd just heard the most ludicrous thing in his life, and not the funny kind either, but the kind that made him want to throw up. Maybe that's for another time.
Polaris stands up and cricks his back again, his eyes still half-closed; he's not a big fan of waking up, or getting anywhere he doesn't want to for that matter.
Polaris leaves the room, perhaps to post again when he gets back.... it is now 12:14pm

Starting the Fire
It is 9:49pm of the 5th of April, 2007. Polaris has been sitting in front of his computer for quite a while now, getting aquainted with the residents of the site. They have been kind and friendly to him, welcoming him with open arms and showing him the bare bones of the site, some helpful hints to improve his own site, how to make a name for himself, as well as the closeness of everyone here.
Polaris is now quite less cold and blind here now, being able to speak with others and socialize. Polaris imagines that pretty soon, he will grow again and belong once more.
Polaris stretches back and feels his back crick; he'd been sitting there for too long, but does not really wish for it any other way. For him, this is a fresh start, like a phoenix rising from the flames.
And there were flames... searing burning flames that touched the sky...

Prologue
It is now the fourth of April, 2007, 12:15pm. Polaris just returned from his second university class of the day, quite hungry and tired. His teacher addressed the class and for half an hour she went on about how horribly she was treated while attempting to get her PhD abroad, was almost in tears by the end of it. Many students missed the point, many more didn't care; Polaris already knew the difficulties faced by a middle-eastern person trying to get a PhD abroad, especially in a 150 year-old university in England.
Perhaps the most shocking thing Polaris heard from that speech is what the Chairperson of the English Department in that English university told my english teacher back then: "Wow, an eastern woman who can think"
Be glad that Polaris was not there at that incident, for he would have proceeded to rip off that person's throat.
Polaris is through and through a humanist, beleiving that all men and women, black or white, eastern or western, are equally human and have equal rights and potentials, and does not tolerate anything said otherwise.
Moving on, it is now 12:23pm and Polaris is getting more hungry. He looks to his right and at his bed, all made and tidy, pillows and all. The only things on it is his TV remote and his mobile phone, both black against the blue covers. Further right is his shelf full of assorted stuff; glass statuettes, greek vases, photos, a ship in a bottle, and so forth. Above that is Polaris's rather large dreamcatcher, which has been up there for quite a while Polaris forgot when he had bought it.
Polaris looks again at the bed... oh how he longs to take a doze... and moreso to have someone by his side as he does.
It's 12:30pm and Polaris just brought some eggs to eat, particularly juicy looking fried eggs, four of them, all of which will be devoured now. So Polaris is done now with posting and takes a deep long sigh, breathing in the scent of the hot eggs.
Polaris bids you good day and to you (you know yourself) does this:

Approaching the Furnace
Polaris is unfamiliar with his surroundings at the moment, but he will adapt. Soon, very soon, he will call this place his new haven, a place where he may speak with his friends freely, and strengthen his bonds with them. A little background information about Polaris himself, however, should come first.
Polaris is a man, nothing more, nothing special. He has an eye for beauty and admires it, taking pleasure in being surrounded by it. He is fussy about his defenition of "Beauty"; for him it is the complete and ultimate beauty, beauty in everything. Mind, body, and soul are examples; only with the beauty of all three can there truly be beauty. In that sense, Polaris neither beleives in looks alone, nor in personality alone; there must be a balance.
Polaris enjoys videogames in his spare time, not to mention drawing anime, reading, writing poetry, and other tasks. He is English Literature major in university, after quite some trouble convincing his superiors to allow him to peruse what he wants. For Polaris beleives that one can only excell if he loves what he does.
Love... what a complex, yet simple word...
Polaris is called "TRUE Polaris" here, because it had come to his attention that there are quite a few people with "Polaris" within their names. Polaris is the "true" Polaris, known everywhere by this alias; everyone calls him "Polaris", close friends call him "Pol". That is why he is the "TRUE" Polaris.
Polaris has many friends, and is kind and generous to all who are respectful and kind to him in turn. Which is not hard; there is little to no reason why anyone would dislike Polaris. The one most prominant reason for disliking him would be his moral values and beleifs. Not religious ones mind you, but social and ethical ones. Polaris beleives in purity, in the right, and will fight for whatever he and his friends beleive in, never leaving anyone behind.
But perhaps the most widespread reason for disliking Polaris is this: Paranioa.
Many times Polaris was considered "too nice", which is more than true. Polaris is very kind, very generous, never taking advantage of anything or anyone for his selfish reasons. In that sense, Polaris can be considered "innocent", but it is only partially true. Polaris actually vows to make himself as "Safe to let your guard down and be innocent around" as ever, and many of his friends would agree to that.
With this in mind, it can be stated that Polaris seems suspicious; innocence is very easy to manipulate and usurp. But Polaris abhors such vile behavior.
Pure through and through, Polaris goes to great lengths to protect his friends, no matter the outcome on his own self.
Betrayal is not tolerated, and the vengance that is Polaris is unmerciful.
Usually, Polaris is a cheerful bright person, a sunny, optimistic character with the goal to spread true happiness in safety, and that is the reason he continues to form bonds: Only with the happiness of the many can truly exist the happiness of the one.
