The Dream
Polaris sits back and yawns, his eyes still half closed and his lips stuck to each other refusing to part. It is 11:21am and Polaris just succeeded in opening his mouth, finding great amusement in actually recording that he did. Turns out Polaris feels better in mornings whenever he wakes up early and lies in bed watching TV, that usually wakes him up.

Polaris scratches his chin; he really needs a shave, but was currently far to lazy to actually get up from his comfortable chair right now. Taking a deep breath, Polaris begins to contemplate on the dream he had. It was very much something out of the movie "Alien" combined with the videogame "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl"; he found it quite entertaining:

Polaris was in a facility of sorts, didn't seem to hi-tech, but he does remember seeing ice, or some other smooth white surface, somewhat like a modern military base in the arctic or something. There were people other than Polaris there... it's all very fuzzy right now; trying to remember a dream is like trying to keep sand from slipping through your fingers. But Polaris does remember people, and he remembers that there was a lockdown; himself and most of the others were safe, but there were still others outside with the "aliens". Polaris decided to go out and rescue them, only to come face-to face with the monsters, or "aliens".

This part he remembers vividly, thanks to it being something from the videogame S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The aliens were... black, with many legs, but they were a bit small, about the size of a sheep, though more spider-looking that anything. Polaris did have a weapon but shooting them was a nightmare: for one thing, they could turn completely invisible, but still distort the area where they are, much like one of the mutants from the game. For another, they moved fast, too fast for Polaris to keep up, also much like the game, but that was because of the sluggishness of Polaris's CPU.

At any rate, Polaris did manage to get some thrills as he tried to shoot the aliens, who didn't seem so offensive... Polaris cannot remember what happened next though, but... perhaps he was successful, he vaguely remembers such.

Polaris looks at the time and laughs; 11:33am. He was wasting time talking about dreams inspired by horror movies and videogames; Polaris laughs out loud. He looks out the balcony, the weather was dreadful; overcast. Polaris hates overcast, "Either start raining or beat it" Polaris muttered at the dark greyish clouds...
