Odd Dreams Monday

Yarr! It be Tuesday.
Tuesday, 12.37 AM

Haha, forget everything I said yesterday about work, it sucks now >_<

I got switched to another group, we were renovating some very old apartments. This place was built before electricity and plumbing, dayamn. This place is disgusting, everywhere you go, there's this dust.

And to make matters worse, I didn't pack a lunch to bring with me. And little did I know, we were working a 10-hour day. O.o "come again?" So, I went all day w/o and water or food >_< I did manage to find a gas station, but all they had was soda. Man, Orange Soda has never tasted better! But it did have it's drawbacks.... that carbonated evil just dried me out and made it worse, so I just kept drinking more. So, I was pretty sick to my stomach all day. Haha, and to make matters worse, every hour on the radio I would hear, "Be sure to drink plenty of water if you are working outside today! It's a scorcher!" ....bastards...

Enough of my bitching. Today is another day, maybe things will go better, so far they have ^_^.

Oh and don't worry, I packed a cooler full of water.....and a hot pocket.

P.S. - Sorry If I didn't get around to your site yesterday, and I will go ahead and apologize for today to >_< But I will try my best!

Luv,

--Josh--

Odd Dreams Monday

Yarr! It be Tuesday.
Tuesday, 12.37 AM

Son of a bitch. It's Tuesday already. That means back to work for me. At least I got Monday off, I enjoyed my uber lazy day, other than all the yard work I had to do >_< So I guess, it wasn't all that relaxing....

Man, I'm in "summer mode" because of my 3 day weekend. I feel as if there's no work tomorrow, but the sad truth is that there is. Heh, well, to tell you the truth, I really enjoy work. I just wish it wasn't sooo hot. Hell, it was 106 F after work on Friday. Let's just hope it cools down. Heh, no luck there, this is only the beginning of Summer, I can't imagine August >_<.

Well, I have to cut this short, I need my sleep badly. I might update some more when I wake up in the morning (if I have time), or after work.

Luv,

--Josh--

Lois: Oh, what about this, Meg? A pink baby-tee that says "Little Slut." That seems pretty hip.
Meg: I don't know if that's really me, Mom.
Lois: Well, they've got one that says "Porn Star" and another that says "Sperm Dumpster." And they're all written in glitter.
Meg: All right, all right. Give me "Sperm Dumpster."
Lois: That's the spirit!

Odd Dreams Monday

*Uses civic center voice* MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!!
Monday, 1.25 AM

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone had a good day today. My day? It went alright....

I took my mom and my little sister to see War of the Worlds today. That was a really good movie! I liked it a lot! I went into the theaters thinking it would be "just another sci-fi." It seems as though I was mistaken. It reminded me of old sci-fi movies for some reason. And I didn't even have to buy the tickets, my mom had coupons for free tickets ^_^

Not much more happened today. I just turned on Pink Floyd - The Wall, and started teaching myself some songs. So I had another music-filled day. Big surprise eh?

Oh, and If anyone was wondering, I slept fine after all.

Peter: The called ID says your calling from the kitchen. In fact I can see you.
Peter: Can you see me now?
Lois: No.
Peter: Now I am at the office.

Odd Dreams Monday

Sunday already eh?
Sunday, 4.16 AM

It seems as if I can't sleep. Too much going on in the ol' noggin to sleep tonight. Ever get that way? It sucks..... you just can't stop thinking about things.

Well, my day went alright, I guess... And it was very uneventful other than the concert. Well, I wouldn't even call it a concert. There were less than 70 people there. But it was ALOT! better than the Willie Nelson bullshit I went to earlier last month.

The show was great! The "headliner" who wasn't even a headliner, hell.... the internet has never heard of him. But the other guy, Shawn Mullins, was pretty well known. They are both GREAT singers/songwriters/guitar players. Ever heard of that song "Rock-a-bye"? *clears throat* it goes: "Everything is gonna be alright, Rock-a-bye, rock-a-byyyyyyye" Well Shawn Mullins does that song. They don't really play music that I listen to, but they are a great inspiration.

My dad LOVED the show! During the intermission he went outside and met Larry Jon Wilson, the "headliner." They talked for a bit, and the guy even gave my dad a free record. It meant a lot to him, because he only owns one of his records, and it's the only one he could ever find. My dad told me, and I quote "Thanks a lot son, that was really great! I feel so happy now, like a pig in a mud hole!" Haha, I love making people happy. I think I made his whole year just for $50.

Well, I'm gonna go attempt sleep, but I doubt I will get very far...

Good night, er, morning... *sigh*

Odd Dreams Monday

I got the nothing to do on Saturday Blues...
Saturday, 11.45 AM

I'm in a good mood this morning. Wanna know why? BECAUSE I HAVE MONDAY OFF! YIPPEEE! Oh.... and it's the 4th of July....

Right now I'm listening to this Clapton CD that I almost forgot I had, It's really good :) I just love putting on a CD and sitting back to enjoy it. Who needs TV when you have music? Oh wait... Family Guy....yeah, good point.

Well, I originally planned to go fishing this morning, but I woke up too late and it's just too damn hot outside. But later tonight I'm taking my dad to a concert that he really wants to go see. It's some guy named Larry Jon Wilson, haven't heard of him either? Neither have I, or the internet, LOL.

My dad has one of his old records, and it's really close to him. So when we saw a banner for the concert, my dad's eyes lit up. He surely doesn't have $50 to spend, so I told him I'd buy the tickets for him. He's so happy, and he's been in a good mood all week. I like doing nice things for people, it makes me feel all pink and gushy inside.

Guess what I'm gonna be doing all day till then? That's right, I'm gonna be watching the London Live 8 concert! WHOOO PINK FLOYD! A concert DVD better come out! Or at least a bootleg to download.. I wish I could be there right now. Incase anyone want's to watch it with me, here's the URL:

http://music.aol.com/live_8_concert/live_now

AOL has all the rights to airing the show... So I guess I can like them for one day... It won't hurt too much.

EDIT: I changed the music on here to Helter Skelter. Wanna know some interesting facts about the song? Of course you do:

1. Paul McCartney wanted to write the "loudest, nastiest, sweatiest rock number we could" after reading a Pete Townshend interview describing a Who track as "the most raucous rock 'n' roll, the dirtiest thing they'd ever done." This was the result.

2. Charles Manson's followers wrote "Helter Skelter" in blood when they killed actress Sharon Tate and her friends. He interpreted the title as being about an imminent race war and apocalypse.

3. John Lennon was called as a witness in Manson's trial (even though Paul wrote this), but refused to attend. In John Lennon's 1968 Rolling Stone Interview, he was asked about Manson and he got a little irate, saying that he didn't know anything about it, and if he did, wouldn't he say something?

4. At the end, Ringo screams: "I've got blisters on my fingers."

5. The song is named after a slide at a British amusement park. The first line is a joke about this: "When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide, where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride."

6. The first version was a 27 minute jam that was never released.

Later Bitches,

Quagmire: Really? After I drugged you and had sex with your unconscious body?
Bridget: What?

Friday, 6.55 AM

We all live in a yellow submarine! Yay! My new theme...... is definitely a change of pace from the other myO websites. Heh.

Well... my day was pretty uneventful after work yesterday. I chatted on AIM with the likes of Dany, furry, Nicole, Youki, and Dark Cloud. Well I guess it wasn't to much of a bore last night, had plenty of people to talk to.

I'm almost 99% sure I will get another full work day in today, so I'll be home 5:30-ish in case "someone" was wondering.

Hey, look at this awesome gift that Vanessa gave me:

I am lubbed, that's two that I got. *Big Grin*

Oh yeah, before I leave.... big shout-out to Dany's brother...... asshole...

Odd Dreams Monday
Tuesday...
Tuesday, 6.55 AM

'Ello folks!

It is just about time to leave for work. I hope today goes by just as fast as yesterday did.

Last night I talked to everyone on AIM and watched my Paul McCartney Live in Red Square DVD, well I watched the first concert. I shall watch the other concert tonight (There's two on the DVD). I talked to all my myO homies on AIM, and was even arrested by a certain officer.

Then I talked on the phone, blah blah blah blah.

Then I finished up learning Blackbird and now I am ready to start on my new musical endeavor. I am gonna learn Led Zepp's - Since I Been Lovin' You, it's my favorite Zepp song.

Oh, and before I forget. I changed my music ONCE AGAIN! It is now Since I Been Lovin' You, well it's a live version, which are usually 99% better than studio recordings.

Well, let me pull myself together and leave before I'm late.

EDIT: YAY! I GOT OFF WORK EARLY TODAY! ONLY 3 HOURS OF WORK! YAAAAY! aaw, but when my paycheck comes I will be short 6 hours of cash...

Later,

--Josh--

{Musician of the Day}

-David Gilmour-

(The guitarist for Pink Floyd)

{What I'm listening to}
Paul McCartney - Back in the U.S.S.R. (Live in Red Square)

{Daily Family Guy Quote}

Cleveland: No.
Peter: Well maybe not him 'cause he's kinda big. But don't you wanna hit the guy sittin' next to ya? Well not him 'cause he's kinda big too. But don't you wanna hit his kid?
(punches kid)
Peter: Take that Macho Man Randy Savage. Ya jerk!

Odd Dreams Monday

GO AWAY MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday, 11.40 AM

That damned internal alarm clock didn't get me this morning! My bladder did......

Yesterday I went over to Dark Cloud's house and checked out his Naruto games on PS2, they were pretty damn cool, and that's why I stole them, but you didn't hear that from me...

Then we came to my house and I gave him a bunch of anime, WHICH HE SHOULD THANK ME FOR WITH LOTS OF GIFTS! Just a high speed internet user helping out the little 56kers.

After that I didn't do much but talk on AIM for an hour or so and watched some Bleach. WHERE IS KON?!?!

As for today, I'm going to finally get around to some of those DVDs. I think I'm gonna watch Paul McCartney Live In Red Square.

Oh snap, crackle, pop! Today's Sunday isn't it? I hope there is a barber shop open somewhere. I need a haircut like Erkel from Family Matters needs a job. Hohoho. that was mean.

Well, I'm gonna go waste my life away.

Love,

--Josh--
