Odd Dreams Monday

IT'S HERE!!!! now what....
Saturday, 8.53 AM

*Big Yawn*

Damn you internal alarm clock! Waking me up at 8 am on a Saturday! curse you and such! Well, at least I won't sleep my day away like I used to.

After work yesterday I didn't do too much. I came home to an empty house, so I decided to play some LOUD music. I turned my speakers all the way up (I have a kickass Logitech speaker system). I swear, you could hear Pink Floyd from the freakin' mailbox, lol. While jamming, I talked to a few people on AIM for about 2 hours or so.

Then I went into the living room with my acoustic and continued learning/playing Blackbird. I believe I have it down 100%, now I just have to get my timing right. It's a very good song about Civil Rights during the 60's. Sung and played by Sir McCartney.

Oh yeah, and if you haven't noticed already, the music has changed once again. Now playing is Blackbird by the Beatles. I just spoke of it in the last paragraph, so that's all you get! I think I will change the music on my website every time I learn a new song. Yeah, sounds like a plan!

*looks out the window*

WTF, it's raining... Well, not that I had anything planned or anything, but it's depressing...

Well, I think I'm gonna go get started on watching those DVDs I have.

Love,

--Josh--

Chris: Yea, we can live with you again even though you are a dangerous retard!
Peter: Chris, don't say retard. we preffer to be called 'little people' because there is nothing wrong with being mentally challenged. In fact, i've learned we are superior, above all you dumb brainy smarties , and one day you will beg us for mercy...and we will consider it.

Odd Dreams Monday

Just a Little More.....
Friday, 6.49 AM

Good Morning, as you can see I'm back to my regular schedule. YAY FOR FRIDAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! The Weekend is but 8 work hours away!!!

Well last night after buying gas, paying back my mom, and putting a bunch in my savings account, I had about $95 left over. So, I proceeded on my quest to find the Spirited Away DVD. But sadly, I couldn't find it at Wal-Mart or Movie Gallery, bastards..... But I did pick up two very cool DVDs at Wal-Mart: Paul McCartney in Red Square and Los Lonely Boys Texican Style. They were only like $26 together.

On my way home I stopped by Movie Gallery to see if they had Spirited Away, but no.... But they had this sweet deal going on: Buy 2 Used DVDs, Get 2 Free; so I obviously took advantage of this killer deal. I found Lightning in a Bottle: A Tribute to the Blues, I have the cds of it and they are amazing, I can't wait to see the DVD. I also found: Team America, Supersize Me, and Anchorman..... they didn't have a wide selection.... but it was only $31 so meh.

Well, I gotta leave for work in a few. I'll be back around 5-ish on myO, feel free to drop me a PM anytime. Oh yeah, and I also got AIM back. My Aim name is: JohnMcCartney748, feel free to IM me.

Peace,

--Josh--

Oh my Stewie, that was horrible! lol

Odd Dreams Monday

Almost There...
Thursday, 5.29 AM

*BIG Yawn*

Yup it's 5:30 in the morning....

So uh..... OH YEAH, I watched Spirited Away last night. It was VERY good. Now I want to see Moving Castle.

Well that's about all I have to talk about.....

Did I mention it's 5:30 am?

EDIT: Boy, there's no thing like your first paycheck $_$

I put a bunch in my savings account, I owe my mom money, I filled my car up with gas, and I still have like $100 to blow :) I think I'm going to go to Wally World and buy the Spirited Away DVD and maybe Mario Tennis for Gamecube, I love that game! Oooh, and I have to start a new savings for a new guitar, I shall start on that next week.

I forgot to mention why I was up so early this morning... I had to be at work an hour early at 6am to go to a job site in South Carolina. It took all of 10 minutes to fix the router in question after the long drive.

Peace,

--Josh--

Odd Dreams Monday

2 Days To Go..
Wednesday, 6.17 PM

So uh, another LONG day at work. It sure does feel good to be home. I don't know what to do: read, play guitar, watch TV, sleep, play on the computer, watch a movie...... so many choices, so little time.

I think I will do all of it... I know what you're all thinking "He's crazy!" "That's impossible!" "Blasphemy!" But trust me folks, I'm a trained professional. Heh..

Well tomorrow I have to be at work at 6am. We have a job to go to in South Carolina, takes an hour or so to get there. At least I can sleep on the way there..... *yawn* Oh yeah, I get my first paycheck tomorrow $_$ I can't wait, I need a little bit of spending money, although most of it is going straight into the bank. I also found out today that I'm getting switched to a new crew sometime in the weeks to come. That sucks... I like the guys that I work with now.. Meh....

Oh yeah, I changed my music on here once again! I changed it to the Allman Brothers! I know that most of you who come here won't like it, but I LOVE IT! SO DEAL WITH IT! I'm sure you will all love it if you just have some patience and listen to it. Well, I'm going to comment then head out.

Rock on,

--Josh--

Sup Gangstas and Fools!

Forgot I was white for a second there..

Well, work was a breeze today. It's easy doing the low voltage stuff. We don't have much to do, so we take as long as possible at each job so that we can get all of our hours for that day :P

So uh, short post....

I'm gonna comment on everyone's site in just a minute..

Bye,

Odd Dreams Monday

One Day Closer To Monday...
Sunday, 10.18 PM

Well I finally got my car running with the help of my new $40 car battery >_< That's crazy because I haven't had any trouble at all with starting my car before, then all of a sudden it won't start at all. I'm just glad that didn't happen when I was away from home.

Last night me and my family went out to eat for Father's Day. We ate at the Macaroni Grill, mmmmmmm, Italian. I got some good pasta, and after dinner we got a piece of cake called "Lemon Passion." That was so good. Wish I had a piece right now. After dinner we went to this new store in Savannah called "world Market." They had a bunch of neat stuff from around the world. I got some Swiss dark chocolate and some chopsticks for the hell of it.

Last night I learned "Home on the Range" on my harmonica, lol. At least I can make something that sounds like music. And I'm learning Pink Floyd's - Wish You Were Here on guitar. It's such a good song, and it's on my favorite Pink Floyd CD - Wish You Were Here. Well, there's no use in sitting here and letting practice time slip away.

Bye,

--Josh--

{Musician of the Day}

Peter: Oh no Stewie!
Brian: First born...
Peter: Meg!
Brian: Your daughter...
Peter: Chris!

Odd Dreams Monday

Ah, the weekend
Saturday, 2.27 PM

Wow, I never knew a Saturday could feel so good. Today I don't have much planned, nor can I really go anywhere, my car battery is dead. I've got it charging up now, and if that doesn't work I have to buy a new one. So, I hope it works after charging, batteries are expensive....

I have to go buy a ceiling fan for my room too, the motor burnt up in mine a few days ago. I can't go without one because my computer makes my room so much warmer that the rest of the house. Then later today I have to cut the grass, some day off  >_<

Oh yeah, last night I bought a harmonica, I've been practicing all morning. It's a pretty fun instrument. I love how portable it is. Maybe one day I can be a Blues Guitarist/Harmonica player. Heh, dreams.

EDIT: Well, my battery was crap, so we went to Wal-Mart and got a new one for like $40. Looks like I won't have a ceiling fan for another week or two.

Not too many people stopped by yesterday, now I'm sad

Frowny Face :(

Later,

--Josh--

{Musician of the Day}

-Duane Allman-

Peter: And Meg's real father's name is ...
Brian: Stan Thompson.

Odd Dreams Monday

FRIDAY!!!
Friday, 3.08 PM

What's up guys and gals! Today is Friday!! And I got off very early today!! W00t! We only had a few houses to visit, so I got off around noon-ish. After our last job site, I hung out with CJ (the guy I work under) and his roommate at their house. Man do they have a lot of guitars! None of them really caught my eye except for the Les Paul and his new 50th anniversary Stratocaster, they were beautiful. Their band plays rock and metal mostly, so I wasn't impressed at all with their playing. Give me about a year and I can show them up. Heh.

Well here I am now. Nothing much to do. My best buddy (Robby) moved this morning at around 9am. It sucks because I had planned on meeting him this morning before work, but I have to be at work at 7:20am. He originally planned leaving at 7, but then changed it to 9 after talking it out with his dad and uncle.

I can tell my summer is going to be very depressing. The only person I've got to hang out with now is the sweetest, smartest, cutest little girl in the world, with whom I want to get closer to. But she is corrupted by cigarettes and marijuana. Hopefully over the course of the summer I can change her, I've seen it been done personally.

Well here I am, sitting, listening to Pink Floyd's - Wish You Were Here in memoriam. Meh, I'm about to go watch Fahrenheit 9/11, Robby left it over with a few other DVDs, mwahuahuahua, now he will have to come back one day to get them.

After working at construction sites for a week, I have come to appreciate the weekends even more.

Later,

--Josh--

{Musician of the Day}

Beatles - Oh Darling! (Abbey Road)

{Daily Family Guy Quote}
Peter: Don't worry Chris. Sometimes it's good not to fit in. (Flashback to Vietnam)
Peter (dressed in a clown suit): You guys are stupid. Their gonna be looking for army people.

Odd Dreams Monday

First Day on the Job
Monday, 4.29 PM

Hey Guys, I just got back from my first day of work. It was pretty cool, no hard work required :) All do do is run and terminate all kinds of wires. Low voltage stuff like networking cable, coax cable, speaker wire and so forth. And it's really good money for a summer job. The only bad thing is the heat and the terrible humidity down here, but at least I'm inside the houses and not on a roof. We didn't have any more work for today, so I got off at 3.

The guy that I work along with plays guitar as well. He's in a band called Liquid Ginger. Pretty cool stuff. The band sounds pretty cool, I will have to pick up a cd. It's cool to work with him because we can talk about music and whatnot.

I just got out of the shower and decided to check up on everyone. I'll get to commenting in just a second. I have to leave in a few minutes to go pick up my mom from work. I drove her van home after I got off early. So, let me get to that

Later,

--Josh--

Smurf #1: Yeah, I saw you leave with Smurfette.
Smurf #2: Oh man, as soon as we got out of the bar, she started smurfing me.
Smurf #1: Shut the Smurf up!
Smurf #2: Yeah!
Smurf #1: Right in the Smurfing parking lot?
Smurf #2: That is freaking Smurf.
