Odd Dreams Monday

Attention All!
Sunday, 5.25 PM

Wassup people? Not much going on here, except the fact that only 2 days of school remain! No school, but a summer job awaits, and to a bum like me, it sucks beyond comprehension. Meh, and my best friend moves away in two weeks. So I'm no looking forward to summer too much this year. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention my Family Reunion, which I have to leave for 2 days before my friend moves away. I planned to drive with him up to his new place in South Carolina and hang out with him for a day or two and go to one of his dad's gigs, but that's all ruined.

On a brighter note, with 2 days of school left, I somehow kept my A average. And not but a week or so ago, I got my Graduation Test Scores back (you might remember earlier posts when I mentioned how easy they were), and I scored pretty high. I passed with distinction in all subjects except for science, and I scored 99% percent higher than all others who took the test. Guess that makes me the top 1% :). It made all my teachers proud, and now I guess I have to get off my academic "ass" and start doing more challenging work. Heh, academic "ass."

Anyways sorry for not posting too often. To be brutally honest, I'm not busy, just incredibly lazy (and enjoying my last moments with my best friend). Lately I've actually picked up the guitar. Before I just learned a few songs and put it down, but lately I've actually started putting some heart & soul into it. Now I love it more than anything. And I've become even deeper in love with music. I am now in love with the blues and all things Fender and Hendrix.

Oh, and, if you haven't noticed there's a new theme.

(Currently my favorite album, Revolver, by the Beatles)

{Daily Family Guy Quote}
Peter (narrating his life): "I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table. I looked with a grimace at the questionable meal Lois had placed in front of me. Of course I'd never tell her how disgusted I was with her cooking, but somehow I think she knew. Lois had always been full of energy and life, but lately I had begun to grow more aware of her aging. The bright, exuberant eyes that I had fallen in love with were now beginning to grow dull and listless with the long fatigue of a weary life. (Lois knocks Peter out.)
I woke several hours later in a daze."

Odd Dreams Monday

Back in Black
Saturday, 1.18 PM

Hello. It's been awhile since I have been here. I'm sorry, it's a combination of homework, laziness, and new video games. It takes much more than that to get rid of me.

Well, many of you may not know this, but my birthday was on the 12th. Thanks goes out to Breakbeat and furrypenguin. I recieved $100 from my aunt. I haven't spent much of it yet, just about $25 for food and movies last night. I treated myself to a nice, big Baldinos sub last night. And I almost bought this big Jimi Hendrix: Axis Bold as Love light box thing at Spencers last night, but I didn't know the cost. Then we went to GameStop, and I bought Crono Cross, Final Fantasty VIII, and Legend of Dragoon with my store credit. Then we finally went to the movies and saw Kung Fu Hustle. That was a pretty crazy film. I recommend it.

The Beatles are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. I had no idea just how good they were until I picked up Sgt. Peppers.

The Beatles - Let it Be

{Daily Family Guy Quote}
Peter: "Everybody I've got bad news. We've been cancelled."
Lois: "Oh no Peter! How could they do that?"
Peter: "Well unfortuantely Lois, there's just no more room on the schedule. We just gotta accept the fact that FOX has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonder Falls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls The Universe, Skin, Girl's Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunman, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric The Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, And Greg The Bunny...."
Lois: "Is there no hope?"
Peter: "Well I suppose if ALL those shows go down the tubes we might have a shot."

Reformatting Blues
Sunday, 1.55 PM

Well I finally decided to reformat today. I plan on doing it sometime today. I'm getting sick of all the spyware and the random shit that is embedded in my HDD. I can't find my copy of XP, so I'm gonna try 2000 out. So if you don't hear from me today you will know what's up.

Last night my friend invited me to a cookout at his house. And ironically, it was steak night at my house. And no amount of chicken, hot dogs, and hamburgers can beat a big, thick, juicy steak seasoned and cooked by myself. So I went over just to hang out before it was dinner time. Oh yeah, my steak was good! I'm a friggen carnivore on steak night.

"Guess Who?" was a pretty good movie. There was this hilarious scene when Ashton was telling black jokes at the family table. It wasn't anywhere near as funny as "Meet the Fockers" was. Speaking of which, that comes out Tuesday.

The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, one of my favorite albums.

Pulp
Saturday, 1.54 PM

Sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I've had a homework-filled week, and my laziness doesn't help any. My week was just as normal as any other week - tons of homework, practicing guitar, and lots of naps. Although, last night I did go to the movies with a friend to see Guess Who. I tried to convince some more people to come, but they were either sleeping or with their boyfriend/girlfriend. It's kind of awkward only going with one person to the movies, but at least I got to spend some time with him before he leaves to go live with his dad. The movie was pretty funny, but I wanted to see Sin City (couldn't because I'm not 17 yet). After the movie we had a bite to eat at Subway.

Wednesday a friend let me hold her Pulp Fiction DVD. That is one great movie. Now I definitely have to see every Quentin Tarantino movie. Now I have to get a BMF wallet. Seeya tomorrow.

To put it simply, I am obsessed. If you haven't seen this film, do it now.

Tired
Monday, 5.48 PM

So tired, so very tired. I didn't go to school today. I stayed home only to do some landscaping and various other jobs around the yard. That is some tiring work, but at least I got to do some anger management with the axe. I think I have deserved myself a nap, but I have like 3 days worth of homework that I need to do. I guess I'll be busy all night doing work.

The Chinese food was very good Saturday night. I ate like a hog. Damn now I got myself wanting more. Oh yeah, my tabs. Well I get most of them from here. And thanks for the response to my report card. To tell you the truth, I haven't had grades that good since about 5th grade. :P

Another picture of Gantz. It hasn't come on TV just yet.

Report Card Day
Saturday, 1.35 PM

Sorry folks. It has been awhile hasn't it. Well I had a busy week and couldn't get around to getting on the computer. But, I'm here now.

Yesterday I got my report card, and I must say, I did pretty well. I got a 94 in Chemistry, 93 in Algebra II, 90 in Technology II, and my biggest achievement - a 92 in U.S. History. I have the toughest teacher for History, and I feel pretty good for making the only A in his 3 classes. I wish I could say the same about my grades from last semester. I get to go out to eat tonight to celebrate. Mmmmm, Chinese food.

My guitar playing is coming along really well, or at least that's what I think. I learned Metallica - Enter Sandman, which is pretty easy, and I have most of Ozzy Osborne - Crazy Train down. I had some good motivation Thursday when I went to see my best friend play in the school's jazz band at an Open House for a local middle school. His solos got a lot of cheering, and it's amazing that they are made up right on the spot. And he has only been playing for 2 years now, but he doesn't have a computer or cable TV, so he plays guitar to keep himself entertained.

Well, I'm gonna go take a shower and eat some lunch. Then I will get around to everyone's sites.

I watched the first three episodes of this series. It seems like a winner to me. Really graphic though, not recommended for the kiddies.

Peter: Look at this, Lois, see right here [points in book], I was voted most likely to succeed!
Lois: Peter, that's not you. That's not even a yearbook, it's a People magazine.
Peter: Oh, I wondered why they had the wrong picture and name.

Stairway to PSP
Sunday, 12.22 AM (Exactly 12 hours since my last post)

Well I just got back from school, and the chores are already up to the ceiling. The second I got home, I was reminded of all the tasks I have to do today. So I guess I won't be commenting until late tonight. At least I don't have any homework :)

Last night I finally beat Challenge of the Gods on God of War. Let me tell you, that is one of the hardest things I have ever done in a game, other than legendary on Halo. I was so excited when I beat it that I almost beat up my friend in celebration. I unlocked some cool secrete costumes for Kratos. Now I can play as Kratos in the big cow costume, and he swing around milk jugs instead of blades. Its hilarious when I play in that costume. There are a few more that escape me right now.

Not much more happened yesterday. Oh yeah, yesterday my best friend gave me his old guitar amplifier. Its awesome! It a lot better than the crappy one I used before. He got it back when he visited his dad in South Carolina. Now all I need is a new chord for my amp, because my current one suck.

Ok well now I gotta go pick up my cousin from school. Seeya later.

I watched the final episode of Samurai 7 last night. It was licensed by Funimation awhile back, so it won't be long before it comes on Cartoon Network. I just hope they don't mess it up like EVERY other dubbed anime.

Meg: What accomplishments?
Peter: Go to your room.

Stairway to PSP
Sunday, 12.22 AM (Exactly 12 hours since my last post)

Hey guys, it's a bit of an early post. I just got through watching a movie with my mom called Eulogy. It was a really funny movie. Mostly dark humor, and it was really good. Earlier we (my family) went out to eat. I had a big ol' Cheeseburger and fries. Can't go wrong with that. First time we went out in a long time.

Today while I was watching Bleach, the power went out! Speaking of which, I never finished that episode. Guess I'll watch it when I get through posting. The power was out for like an hour, and there was no non-electrical fun around so I just picked up my guitar and started playing. I kept thinking to myself, "what a perfect situation for a PSP." I may be able to convince my mom to help pay for my PSP since my birthday coming up next month. *evil grin*

I almost beat Challenge of the Gods on God of War earlier. It's like, incredibly hard! When I got to the last stage, I accidentally reset the game. I felt like a friggen idiot and almost punched a hole in the wall. But, I restrained the anger pumped into me by Kratos, and unleashed my wrath by petting a kitty. No damage done.

(I just realized that I haven't posted any pics of Family Guy. What the hell is wrong with me?)
(btw. I have this poster on my wall)

Brian: Oh yeah, but don't mention it around the Veterans Hospital. Those guys are really committed to the lie.

Stairway to PSP
Saturday, 12.22 PM

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last.
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll.

That's the last verse of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, in case you didn't know (loser j/k). I was just looking over at my Stairway poster and decided to share it with you all :)

I just found out yesterday that Mitch Hedberg died on March 30. He was one of my favorite comedians. I found out when I got on IRC last night. He supposedly died of a heart failure, but I'm sure the heroin didn't help a bit.

Yeah, I must agree $70 is a lot for doing pretty much nothing :P But, every penny I earn from that goes into my "jackass fund." That goes to all my car repairs, car insurance, gym fees, gas, etc. Ya know, anything the jackass does that costs money. So I'm only left with the money I find or earn for doing good deeds.

Speaking of money, would anyone like to donate to me :P I desperately need an Xbox, Halo 2, Xbox Live, and a PSP. My only hope for Halo 2, is that it comes on the PC, and the second it does (seems very unlikely), I'm buying it. So far I only have $50 in my PSP fund. That leaves about $250 left... (gotta buy a game)

P.S. - a car is nothing but a black hole that you constantly throw money into, and it just happens to take you places.

(Samurai 7, doesn't Kyuzo seem like a mix of Vash and Spike?)

Pink Floyd - Us and Them

Have a Cigar..
Friday, 5:44 PM

Sup fools! Guess what? I got out of school today at 11 am! It was great. If you didn't read my post yesterday, I got out early today because I was awarded for taking all four of the Graduation tests on time. I just hung out at a friend's house until I had to leave to pick up my cousin from school. Speaking of which, my friend has a ferret. Those things are so cool! I want one now, they are so cute and playful.

Oh yeah! I beat God of War yesterday! The ending was awesome! So uh, now I'm going to play it on hard difficulty. I'll get to commenting tonight, gotta take a nap first.
