4 1/2 Day Weekend

Hey guys.. I know it has been awhile since I have updated or commented, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME! *cowers*

Heh, I feel as if I've been making a lot of false promises around here, and for that I am sorry. I'll try my damndest to get around more often. I don't really have too much going for me at the moment except for school, to tell you the truth, my reason for not getting around is laziness, pure and simple XD.

I spent most of yesterday working on my new layout. It looks pretty nice if I do say so myself! XD I should finish it up today. It's Pink Floyd's The Wall by the way.

What's up with me? Well, I've had a pretty good week. Friday was a half day at school, and I had yesterday off as well as today. The Governor issued a holiday for us because of the high fuel prices. It's a pretty off reason, but I'm not one to argue with days off from school XD. Everything is going pretty good for me. School is going rather smoohtly, and life at home is alright.

I've been spending most of my free time playing games, listening to music, or chatting (sometimes all three at once, yes, I'm that good). Hah, speaking of chatting, during last night's ritualistic chat with Katie, she said something that still makes me laugh when I think about it. I said something along the lines of: "Are you going to bed soon?" and she said in a sleepy daze "In a minute, I'm making a banner for someone." *chuckles* and a split second after she said that she says: "Oh my God! Did I just say that?!" It seems as though when she closed her eyes, she thought she was still at the computer working on Hinaru's gift. *laughs* Oh my, I'll never let her live that down.

Well, I'm off to finish up that new theme so that I can have it up tomorrow. I'll get around sites tonight.

The day after

Our living room looks like armageddon took place in there.

Haha, I swear, yesterday I felt like the day was never going to end. There were so many little kids at my sister's Birthday party. I pretty much made myself sick from eating all that sugar, ugh. I drank like, four or five sodas yesterday, I usually drink one or two during the entire week. And let's not forget cake. That cake had so much sugar in it I was afraid my kidneys were gonna die in the middle of the night. I made it to the bathroom alright this morning, so all's well in kidney town.

Yesterday wasn't all that bad. My half-brother came down with his fiance from Charleston, SC. It's always great to see him. He came down to see my dad (he was recently in the hospital), and to attend my sister's Birthday party. They stayed pretty late, but it was all good.

And somehow during all the commotion I managed to learn a few things on the guitar. I learned the solo to the song that I know you are all listening to on here, The Beatles' - While My Guitar Gently Weeps, it was surprisingly easy. I also learned The Beatles' - Birthday, in spirit of it being my sister's Birthday and whatnot, but I didn't get to play it at the party like I wanted to, I forgot all about it. Not to mention I might mess up, I only went over it like two or three times, so there was plenty of room for error.

I think I'm gonna take today off and do absoloutely nothing. But I will get around to commenting tonight, unless something comes up, you know... like paralyzation; or the loss of an arm; or fingers; or eyesight; or taste O__o....

I declare today, Ignore-the-doorbell-and-telephone-and-wear-nothing-but-boxers-and-a-tank-top-day!!! Let the laziness commence!

Wow... it's been about... two weeks since my last post. Sorry about that, my reason for not posting is I've been pretty busy, with a lot of laziness and procrastination. Most of my free time I spend talking to Sammy, so I don't get much of anything else done.

Eh, school is going alright. I'm trying my best to keep my grades up, well, I could do a lot better. I have like, two C's, and one B, and I haven't gotten word as to what my other one is. I've been spending a lot of time after school recently doing extra-curricular stuff because of my free time this year.

I still haven't gotten around to completing my new theme. I've been working here and there, and by the way, it's Pink Floyd's The Wall, one of my favorite albums.

And to Robby: I'm listening to Kind of Blue right now (good stuff), and I'm uploading "So What" at the moment, hopefully it works.

Agh, mom is getting mad, I'm supposed to be outside mowing the lawn in preparation for my sister's birthday party today, I should get to that soon! Well, goodbye everyone! I'll try to comment if I have time today!

It seriously feel like Saturday, this three-day weekend is screwing with my head.

Sorry I didn't get around to visiting yesterday, some stuff came up. But I'll be sure to stop by everyone's sites today, I promise!

Dang, the Stairway to Heaven solo always brings a tear to my eye. So beautiful.. *air guitar* Sorry, I had to take like, a five minute pause from typing, I love that song...

For the past hour I have been browsing for pictures for my new theme. "What is it?" you ask, well, you'll have to find out for yourself. But I will tell you this, it is music-related; big surprise, eh? I'll give you a hint, it's a band's movie that has a killer soundtrack, and was also turned into a Broadway play. For those whom I've been chatting with recently, this should be an easy one. Five bucks to the person who guesses correctly.

Well, I'm gonna go work on my theme some more so that hopefully, I can have it up by tomorrow morning. I'll stop by in a few.

3 Day Weekend!

Hey guys, sorry it's been awhile since I've stopped in. To tell you the truth I haven't been busy at all, just extremely lazy. But I'll always try to get around on the weekends.

Speaking of weekends, we have Labor Day off!!! a Three-Day Weekend! Heck yes! More lazy time for me.

My week hasn't been that exciting. Go to school; come home; eat; talk on AIM; go run some errands; more AIM; eat; homework; and finally go to bed. That's been about every day this week. I'm hoping that I can somehow get some money and go see a movie with friends or something like that, but then again, gas is extremely expensive, and I need to save all my money solely for gas.

Here in GA, gas is like $3.33 a gallon (in one part of GA people were paying $5.87/gal), or at least it was that much yesterday. I remember.. Thursday morning on the way to school it was $1.45, on my way home from school it was $1.97, and it just kept shooting up. People were panicking trying to get to gas stations to fill up before they went up even higher (the rumored gas shortage didn't help either). This caused many horrible wrecks, all because of human stupidity. I'm not sure if it's just price gouging, or if it's because of the larger gas station's troubles in the Gulf of Mexico (Shell, Amoco, Exxon, etc. all have oil rigs in the Gulf). And I have no clue what gas prices look like today, because it's 9AM and I don't feel like investigating. Dang I remember when gas was $0.75/gal...

All I can say is, thank goodness I drive a Toyota. I get great mileage! Ive got about another week's worth of gas left in my tank, let's hope this doesn't escalade any more. I feel sorry for all the suckers with Hummers right about now... wait, no I don't...

Whoah, that post got pretty big, fast. Well, I'm gonna get going, and I'll stop by to comment later.

EDIT: Ooopsies, I forgot to mention something. I've finally made it to 2,000 hits! Whoooo! It may not be much to some of you, but it's a milestone for me! Hehehe, I was so excited when I found out I had hit it. It seems like I'm getting more and more hits everyday! Wheeeee!

MY SLUMBER!

Okay, remember when I said I was gonna comment in my last post? Well uh, my dog.... Haha, okay, we can just blame it on laziness and schoolwork. Yeah, I fell kinda bad that I didn't get around after promising that I would, so I gotta make up for that this weekend. I promise I'll get around to doing it today and tomorrow.

In other news, this bloody headache will not go away! Ugh, maybe I inherited that from my mom, she gets headaches that last weeks at a time, no fun >_< Oh well, at least it's not as bad as it was yesterday.

Last night was my last phone call to Sammy ;_; She uses her sister's cell phone (free weeknight and weekends), and her sister left for college early this morning, all the way in Kentucky. Big Congrats to her, and I wish her the best of luck.

I was awoken nine hours into my slumber by the phone. My sister went to a sleepover, and she had to be picked up by 9:30am. The girl's mom called at 9am, and I was the only one by the phone, so I had to shower and go get her >_< I had about 2 more hours of sleep in me too! I know these things... hahaha Oh well, I'm awake now, and that gives me more time to do... nothing. I mean... that gives me more time to get on myO! >_> that's what I meant... yeah...

Anyways, I'm gonna go do some stuff, and then I'll get on to comment later. Goodbye folks!

Other than Monday, my week has been alright. School is going just fine. I did try and get my schedule changed yesterday, bu the bastards in the guidance office wouldn't look twice at me! Grrrrrrr! If my guidance-homeboy, Mr. Victor, didn't leave our school last year, I'd be out of that hellish pottery class! Oh well, I guess it's not too bad. I made some new friends in there, and we have a lot of fun.

It seems as though a lot of our fellow otakus are starting school this week. Let's see.... Sammy started on Monday, Ari on Wednesday, and Furry and Rachel today. Just felt like throwing that in as filler >_> got a problem?

Good. Mannn, I've had this headache ever since Monday afternoon, it still lingers! This ibuprofen I took isn't working..

Well, I've got no homework tonight, so I'll be sure to get around to everyone's sites! And if not.... blame it on the dog.

By the way, I went ahead and got rid of my "Musician of the Day." It was getting to be too much of a hassle every day. And if you haven't noticed, I've been changing my music for every post. I'm doing nothing but Jimi for awhile, obviously.. Later!

Better Than Yesterday

Well......

Yesterday was an interesting day. I spent pretty much all day in the hospital >_< I had a little accident during my AP english class, and had to go to the nurse's office (after I came to). Ehh, I'm still not really sure what exactly happened. I remember getting extremely dizzy, and next thing I know, I'm waking up to the whole class ogling at me. Seems I kinda blacked out for a bit (they said it was seizure-like), I have no clue how long, for all I know it could've been hours.

But I freaked out everyone in my class. They are pretty much all close friends I've known since elementary school, and I'm never the type to get sick. Hell, I was the one spazzing the most afterwards. Err, wait, that was my mom. She was spazzing all day yesterday and made me go to the hospital, only to find out there's nothing wrong (heart and brain-wise). Better safe than sorry, eh? I still think my mom went a little overboard.

Yeah, so I just slept a lot when I got home, and now I feel much better. Except for this lingering headache..

At least I didn't have to go to Pottery! hahahahahahaha! *in your face Mrs. Regan!*

In other news, today is Sammy's second day of school. Let us hope that it went great! I'm sure it did, yesterday seemed to go smoothly. But I'm a bit worried, they have no A/C! And it's so hot outside! Well, it was actually pretty cool outside today. But still! >_< I hope it went alright!

Okay, off to run a few chores, then do homework! I'll try to comment later tonight, I only got around to like, two sites last night, sorry!

Well, yesterday was my big day! 2 full years at myO. It's really hard to believe.

I got myself a few awesome gifts! You're lookin' at one of 'em right now! The lovely Dany made this fracking sweet Hendrix layout that you're lookin' at! Yeah... I love it, so I have to use it. I'm still mad at her for making it, it's waaay too much! And she made this:

I haven't done jack squat today. I've just been tinkering around with this new theme. I started writing an intro, and realized it was turning into an essay! Haha, once I get writing, I kinda go overboard... So I did a little revision, and shortened it up. Dang, I had no idea I could keep going on and on about my hobbies. And I made a few buttons and banners to fit the theme, and I'm still working on those, I'll try to have them up tomorrow.

In other news, tomorrow is the first day of school for Sammy! I hope everything goes smoothly on her first day of school. Well, I know it will ^^. She's gonna have so much fun seeing her friends for this first time since school ended! Speaking of school, I hope I get my schedule changed tomorrow. If not, I'm sure my mom's gonna go start some militia to take down my school, hahaha.

Well, I'm not too sure if I'll be able to comment after this post. I've got some schoolwork to do. Enjoy the new theme everybody!
