Got the rained on my concert blues Sunday, 11.03 AM Well the concert wasn't too great. Mostly because of the rain. Me and my dad were soaking wet the entire time, and then it got dark out and the wind began to blow, making us icicles. I can tough that out just fine, but my dad..... if you knew him you would know what I'm talking about. I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if I could have gotten closer to the stage, from where I was I couldn't make out who was who. (The concert was held a minor league stadium, what a brilliant idea that was, with the stage all the way in the outfield, 300 or so yards from home plate and the bleachers. I wanted to go hang out in the outfield and watch the show, but my dad... bleachers it was.) The only highlight of the show was when Willie's son came out and played Texas Flood on an electric guitar. The rest of the show sucked. After Willie played for about 80 minutes, Dylan came on and played his part. We left after about 3 Dylan songs, I really wish I could have stayed to see Dylan play, but we were miserable. Like I said, it would've been much better if I could see what was happening.
