Hajime no Ippo, righteous.
January 30, 2006; 12.17AM
Yo. Not a whole lots has been up this weekend. I pretty much played Monster Rancher 4 (highly addictive) and hung out with some friends. Oh, and I fixed my bedroom door (the screws holding the hinges in came right out. Sunnova bastards). Umm... I've been watching a lot of Hajime no Ippo lately. This is my third time seeing the series (If you don't know by now, it's my favorite anime).
Hajime no Ippo is by far the best anime I've ever seen. It tells the story of a young school-boy (Ippo) who helps out his mom at their family-run fishing business. Ippo is constantly picked on by bullies at school, until one day he has a run-in with a boxer (Takamura-san) who saves him. The series takes off from here. You instantly fall in love with all of the characters, you're always in for a good laugh, and each episode leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
I know what you all are thinking "Boxing? Yuck." I said the same. But now, boxing is my favorite sport. I have a new-found respect for the sport and boxers themselves. Hell, I'm even considering joining a local gym (this is probably crazy-talk, but I see myself as a pretty fit guy). It's just that inspiring.
Enough of my midnite-ranting about my favorite anime. Time for this cowboy to hit the rack, Jack.
Once again I leave you with Side 2 of Abbey Road, bitches.
Katie is hot sex.
Werd,
Josh
