Im ALIVE!!!
....Although that probably doesnt seem true with my absence and no post from my site >.< lol

Anywho....things have been busy busy, Ive been working everyday (money! yay *rejoices*).

As well I have put myself of a strict workout/diet plan. Im trying to lose as much weight as possible by AX :P So Ive been walking at least twice a day and have really been watching what Im eating. I am quite surprised/happy with the (so far) outcome: just doing a basic workout (crunches etc) before bed and when you wake up, walking and eating less junk >.< Ive already lost a bit. You dont have to go on silly "no carb" diets....just live healthily (I dont think thats a word but Im using it anyways :P )

The main reason Im doing this is so that I will feel good about myself in my cosplay :) It has been the real incentive behind it. I have a goal to reach in a specific time....this REALLY helps me get motivated =^.^=

When I get back from AX Im going to be moving out with a friend...I am SO excited ^^ I know that its hard to move in and get along with ppl that you havnt lived with before but Im ready for the challenge! We already have our apartment etc and Ive started stocking up on household items (I feel like a house wife >.<)

Anime wise....I visited my friend Sammy for the first time in awhile and she of course has bought many new DVD's *mwahahaha* so I rumaged through her movies and found a few series to watch. So that has kept me occupied as well. Some of the series I've never heard of but they turned out really well. Some are: Sukisho (sp?)<- AWESOME, Speed Grapher, and Boys Be.

I entered the AX VA competition >.< Im really excited but also nervous (nervous already, what is this lol). I decided to do a monologue from His and Her Circumstances for my audition. Yukino is a lot of fun.

*twidles thumbs* ok.....hmmmmmmmmmm nothing else really.

OH!! Me and my friend are doing a cosplay skit for AE!! Its going to be CRAZY! >.< lol more on this, as the con approaches.

Karma's a B*tch >.
LOL.....so Operation Stealth: Steal brothers laptop was in full swing againt his morning....just as I was about half way done a post the screen went black....all the plug-in's were fine and the laptop was still on but there was no way to get the screen back >.< so I had to restart the computer and then couldnt get back in due to a password *shakes fist*

Anywho....so now I am on the crappy computer *glares* and hoping I can finish this before I am shut down :P

Soo trying to think back on what I was writing this morning, hmmmmmm....

Well I think I rambled a bit more about who to cosplay and such but then finished with that.

Im thinking of moving out pretty quick here...Im going to have to start paying rent in July, and there is no way I am going to PAY to live HERE! lol >.< So I have a couple options: move in with a friend, localy here on the island. I would have to buy a car in order to get to work and such. Or move to Vancouver on the mainland, this would bring me closer to the industry and thus my *hopefully* career.

(Side note: I have a sore stomach >.< note to self dont drink a crap load of water and then run for 20 min)

Im going into the recording studio thursday afternoon to do some more work on my Demo =^.^= *yay!!* So I have to practice before that....as I dont want to make a fool of myself LOL

hmmmm what else is new....I STILL havnt seen Bleach 121 or 122 >.< Youtube has been deleting EVERYTHING...Im lucky enough to find Naruto Shippuden's new episodes before they're deleted as well.

Im not too sure if the people that read my posts come back to check for my replies to their comments or not....so I guess I will include my responses to my previous entry's comments here (did that make any sense?):

I was at the back, before the line started to curve...on the wall of the Artist Alley entrance....but I was sitting on the floor with this really odd painting behind me lol....I cant remember any cosplayers around me :S OH!! If you ever saw the Mountain Dew soldier guy in line I was a couple people behind him lol

Ya hopefully!! I mean there is nothing really stopping me from going...*besides finding room-mates etc again lol*
my dad lives down in Monteray CA so I figured I could go and visit him for a week and then go down to the convention.

Im a Con addict now lol, I want to go to as many as I can :) Why dont you go???? Unless you already are :O

Ya I know :( ...but I figure I'll be able to meet a couple of you at AE, then there is always SakuraCon next year which I hope to be able to attend....Im planning on moving to Vancouver soon, so hopefully I'll still be able to attend these things >.< I need bags of schwag darnit!!! lol :P

Haha I wish I could get the pics up...my comp is so old having this window open for longer than 10 min Im worried it will shut down any min now :P no joke....I havnt been on MSN in like a year b/c this comp cant handle it LOL <- **note: computer did indeed self destruct a min after I posted**

Thats too bad you werent able to stay for the third day :( But at least you enjoyed the time that you had...and you got to touch Vic ;) LOL Hopefully you'll be able to attend AX or another con soon :) Im already missing and remenising (I spelt that wrong) :P

   What the!? A Ninja? Awesome its a party!!
Soooooooooooo what to write about....hmmmm write about getting back to normal life? Well although that is very boring and mildly depressing I think I shall do it lol.

Ive been working every day since Ive gotten back...which is good because I need to make lots of money by the end of June for my AX trip w00t.

I want to cosplay this time but im having a hard time deciding who I should do.... Deffinitly Lacus Clyne from GS, but which outfit *gasp* and I was thinking since I'll have the wig/accessories already from Lacus I could do Meer Campbell as well.....it would be cool to do someone rare such as Quon from RahXephon....
Any suggestions? If money permits I could do all three :P

ACK I will write more tomorrow morn...but my bro just got home and I dont want to be caught on his laptop ;) lol TTYL!!!!

Sakura Con pt. 2
Lol....I dont think anyone will actually read this far ...but if you do BRAVO!!! =^.^=

Saturday began with me sleeping in (YAY!) lol. We had a nice relaxing morning in our room, as we all got breakfast and then headed out around 10am. Amanda had her Clamp photo shoot, as her second cosplay was Yuko (I hope thats right?) from XXXholic....she had a HUGE kimono on it was absolutly gorgeous! So I was bag holder and photographer lol but it was fun :)
Then I pretty much had to go and start standing in line for Vic Mignogna's autographs >.< I was on a mission to get his autograph for my friend :P But it ended up taking approx. 3 hours!!!!!
I dont know why his line up was so ridicuously long...(well thats a lie I do know why...FMA fangirls *cough*)rather dont know why he's so popular ...he is a really nice guy though, took time to sign anything you wanted and pictures etc etc for all the fans. Even still, he isnt my favorite VA *gets mobbed by vic fangirls*

I missed TheO meetup which REALLY made me upset...that was one of the things I was most looking forward to but by the time I got done with Vic Mignogna it was 3pm and I had no idea what to look for to find everyone *sobs* :P

I went to a few more panels, watched some AMVs and then met up with Amanda again. We went and got some food and then went back to the hotel so she could change into her third cosplay, which I dont know lol! She had another photo shoot and I went to get in line for the cosplay contest. I was WAY at the back of the line as I was only there a half hour early >.< haha....but still Heather doesnt settle for crappy seats 8-) I looked around and around and found an opening in the third row and asked if they were taken...JACKPOT...lol so Amanda came back just before the contest began.

The contest was one of the other things I was REALLY looking forward to :) I always watch videos of cosplays from cons on Youtube at home so was exicted to be there and watch it in real life. There were at least 4 really good ones that I knew were contenders to win. After the cosplay then the Dreamcatchers preformed the dance from 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya', which made me super happy :)
After cosplay Amanda and I were on the hunt for the Nintendo Wii....which escaped us that night, but we ended up attending the rave for a couple hours then met up with a group out in the hall who we hung out with until about 4:30am.
We went back to their hotel to eat bread! LOL! ....haha you had to be there :P

Sunday was a bit slow...nothing much going on (well still lots happening but compared to the other days, I wasnt in so much of a panic of what to attend and things overlapping)....I went to the DreamCatchers and Piano Squall performances, sat in the dubbed anime theatre for a couple shows, the AMV room was always a good spot....I was really looking forward to Liam O'Brien's dubbing panel...but they scheduled it the same time as his flight out :(
Amanda and I finally found the Wii and made fools of ourselves as we played tennis.

We went to the closing ceremonies which were delayed about an hour by the auction. I didnt mind watching the end of the auction for about a half hour but then began to get restless (I dont know if it was more anoyance at the amount of money ppl apparently had) *shakes fist*
Closing ceremonies was nice, however I felt bad for ppl that had wanted to see it and ended up leaving b/c it was taking to long to start....not so much of a smooth ending to the con for them.

Amanda and I went back to the hotel and met up with Max (other roomate)....Amanda fell asleep and max and I rambled on about nothing really....our conversation consisted of stupid things to really heavy religous debate LOL it was fun....I had wanted dinner for awhile and wanted to find the elusive take out menu that was supposed to be somewhere in our room but alas was not to be....so fell asleep with an empty stomach :( not having ate since 9 am *violen in BG* ....I fell asleep on the couch and remember someone putting a blanket on me around 1 am >.< lol And that was the end to Sakura Con.

I really didnt want it to end...I remember actually having the feeling of 'I want it to keep going' or maybe just didnt want to come back to the hell hole known as home :P lol either way I headed back monday morning on the 11am bus to Vancouver, I took a cab to the ferry (which I missed by minutes, arg) but luckily they were having a weekend special and there was another boat in less than an hour.
Got back to the island by 6 pm (wouldnt y'know we got the super old, super SLOW ferry). My mom and me got into an argument within 15 minutes and drove in silence for the rest of the way with me ticked off in my head, 'welcome home heather NOT!' lol >.<

Whelps back to life again....however as much fun as this all was...it deffinitly was not enough time!
Im looking forward to AX in LA at the end of June....Im going to make a mini-vacation out of it and head down for at least two weeks....maybe i'll feel a bit better then!

Anywho....I thought I should post something....wasnt going to go all out on the con details but as I started typing I couldnt help it =^.^=

And thats a wrap!

Sakura Con pt. 1
I ended up attending Sakura Con 07 down in Seattle WA on Easter weekend!! It was FANTASTIC =^.^= I was just so happy to be able to go...I mean, I decided to go not even a week before it so I find myself lucky that others welcomed me to stay with them and help me out with rides etc.

I left on Wednesday morning to catch the ferry over to the mainland. I was supposed to be traveling with another girl from the island who had gone before, when I arrived at the ferry station she had forgot her passport in her parents car >.< The ferry was about to leave and I didnt have much time to think things through so I got on the boat without her (as she wasnt going to keep going without her passport).

The rest of the traveling went smoothly, I got from the ferry to the bus station and then onto the bus, heading for Seattle...even crossing the border only took about 30 min max.
However, when I got to Seattle I ended up waiting at the station for 3 hours for my ride to pick me up....I was worried they had forgotten or something >.< But I was able to meet a really cool older man that had actually just returned from a Wildlife Conservation meeting in Duncan, on Van. Island!!! He was a really sweet man and his ride was extremly late also so we joked about it.

My ride came and I spent the night, meeting new people and such. Thursday morning came and I ended up going to the Convention centre early as the people I had stayed with Wed. night were staff and needed to be at the centre. I wandered around aimlessly before getting a phone call from my roomate, Amanda. She was at the hotel and checked in so I could go over and meet up with her, which I did :)

We went back to the Convention Center after we introduced ourselves and she got changed into her first cosplay outfit (Neer from Death Note). We hung out till our other roomates arrived later in the evening.

Friday started far too early, lol....I woke up at 5:30am to get into the registration line up. There were already a number of people there, but I wasnt too far from the front. I got my badge by about 8am or so and then headed back to the hotel. I got brekfast (which was complimentary at our hotel) and showered before heading back to the convention.
All of my roomates were also staff so they worked most of the time and I wandered around by myself, but I didnt mind....you meet so many people at cons and there is so much to do, I still really enjoyed myself :)

I went to opening ceremonies then to VA Liam O'Brien's panel/autographs, took loads of photos...went to the dealers room, some other panels....kept my day busy :)
By evening Amanda got off work and we decided to wait in line for the AMV contest. We got a phone call from our new roomate who had just arrived and wanted to meet up. So Johnathon (that spelling looks wrong :S) met us in line....by this time I hadnt ate since approx. 9am and was starving so I decided to go grab some subway before the line was let in....I ran downstairs to the 4th floor and saw the huge line at the subway and said forget it...and decided to go to the one outside.

I waited impatiently as the people in front of me, "should I get this or this....or no this....ya deffinitly this" AHHHHHH lol then the subway guy made the announcement that he was all out of bread and only had wraps left...which cleared the line (yay!) I didnt mind so I got my wrap and booked it back upstairs....I saw that every single escalator going up was packed and said 'hell no' lol...so sprinted to the elevator...Im sure people were looking at me funny....I ran past some people I had met as they waved and yelled hello....then goodbye lol

I made it back to Amanda and John as the line was just entereing the main theatre. we sat and I ate my wrap as we waited for the competition to start....however I noticed a GS pair, Lacus and Asuran and booked it to the back of the theatre to take their picture :P (I ended up semi-stalking them over the weekend as I would take their picture whenever I saw them...it became a joke as Asuran and I would always salute each other as we passed by).

Ok so I actually ended up writing a crap load lol....so I will write the rest in pt. 2!!

   Posty Goodness!!
LOL I just figured out how to do this >.< I made another discovery (learn something new everyday)...I also learned to read my guestbook posts....yes indeed there is a link at the right side of my page saying "GUESTBOOK" but im slow and not that computer savy...and if it helps my case...blonde :P

Welps what can I write about in this first post that will be interesting to read and informative about my life *ponders* hmmmmm....well I caught up with Bleach and am now waiting to watch episode 121.

I also have started production of my Demo CD for voice overs....Im thinking of contacting Cathy Weseluk (voice of Cyber Six, Kagome's mom in InuYasha) again to have some one-on-one private sessions before its completed! Im so excited :)

Right now the main thing Im pondering is going to SakuraCon in seattle next weekend....I really would like to go and could make it down there...and not having any friends to GO with isnt a big issue, b/c Im sure I'll meet new people....its just the hotels. I cant afford and dont want to stay in one room by myself :(

If there is any group out there that needs another person in their hotel room (dont worry I am not a phsyco-path or murderer!! *thumbs up*) pleeeaaaze message me I would be more than happy to join up with you! =^.^=
