yo! sorry i haven't posted in a while. been lazy. so midterms ended two weeks ago. i would have had tons of stuff to say about it but because it was so long ago i don't remember any of it. but i got grades back! in geometry i got a 96, advanced algebra i got a 90, history i got an 82, English i got an 88, and i got a *drops head in shame* 64 in chem. with a 15 point curve. XD. but i don't feel so horrible about it b/c half the class failed as well and it was a stupid test. yeah. there are my sophomore midterms! woohoo! and they are starting class placement for next year. i'm going into FST honors, English honors (cause i'm smart like dat). i want to go into physics honors b/c it's all math, but they stupidly put it after chem, which i suck at. i have an 87 average in the class. i might ask to go into the class anyway. idonno. and i have the grade for history honors, but i don't think i wanna do it b/c i hear it's a lot of work and you really have to want it. i like history, and the class i have right now has the best teacher i have ever had, and it's a fun and easy class. awesome teacher=happiness and good grades. boring as hell teacher (like i had last year UUUGGGHH) = oh-my-f****-god-why-the-hell-did-i-take-this-class and not so good grades. my mom's pushing it, but i don't think she realizes i really won't be able to do this class. it's also that i don't have time to do all the work this class will have along with my other two honors classes. i'm kinda convincing myself i don't want to do this class, lol. and i'll be taking a study hall and some other elective, probably marketing. nothing's set yet, so this might change.
and we had a pep rally today. it was kinda fun. half stupid half fun. it was two rallies combined b/c we were supposed to have another one but the bomb threat stopped that, lol. there was a dance contest, a obstacle course, awards for seniors (like best hair, etc), and a volley ball game. the dance competition was cool, but their were two downers. one, the freshman were absolutely horrible and did a really bad dance very poorly. and then my class was next, ours was pretty cool. the class officers came out in afros and danced to some little machael jackson song and then barbie girl. and the juniors didn't go, and the seniors did don't touch this. their dance wasn't as good as ours, but they're seniors so they win either way. and then it was the stupid obstacle course that took two minutes, longer to set up than to play. and then the senior awards. my tutor got most likely to be president. i was happy. if she does i can brag about how she taught me math and yelled at me, haha. and then the volley ball game which was surprisingly amusing. we were in second place, so yay. of course the seniors won. ken-ken was very upset, it was funny.
i'm at robotics right now. i made the bumpers! so i helped out, i'm happy. i'm generally useless to the team. lol. and tonight i'm going to the dance with jennna and olga, and then they are sleeping over. dances generally suck, but we feel like going. we are going an hour late, so if there's no one there, we don't go. and yeah. l8er
