Ashes To Ashes, Soul To Soul (Prolouge)
Hi people! I've decided to post some of my story up on my site. I've come across countless others who are doing it so why not me? This is original and is mine.
Enjoy!! PS.Should you happen to actually like this story (I don't know why you would but..) I'll need feed back. (E-mail/Guest book/comments.) Otherwise I'll think it's a waste of time and take it down. Now on to the story!!!!!

She ran, she ran in the cold rain, down the dark, desolate ally. Her feet ached so, they felt as if they were on fire. The soles on her shoes were completely worn through. But she dare not stop. No, she had to keep going. She held on to the small bundle she held within her trembling arms. They were gaining on her. She began to turn random corners, hoping to confuse and lose her chasers. She turned one corner, and another, until she finally came to a dead end...or so it would seem to a normal eye. She ran straight through it, as though it were an open door. When she reached the other side, she immediately fell to her knees. "Thank God...." Was all she could say. Suddenly she heard a voice laughing, and then another joined it,and another joined that one. Three tall, well-built, masked men walked out from the shadows. They wore the same masks as the men who were chasing her a second ago. She was trapped. If she went back she would have to face the other two who were previously chasing her. The men walked closer, and closer. She caught sight of a hobo's shopping cart. She quickly placed her bundle in it, and gave it a hard push, sending it flying down a steep hill. "You, go follow it!! Don't let it out of your sight!!!" The tallest one of the three began to chase after it. The cart flew to the bottom of the hill and through another brick wall. But this was a black wall. One that no one dared go through. The man stopped in his tracks with a look of horror on his face. "W-what do I do?! I-If the boss finds out I didn't get it then..." A shiver flew through his spine. "Aww well, if it went through THAT wall..it's as good as dead anyway...." And with that thought to take comfort in, the man turned around and headed back to the lady...who's scream of death could be herd miles away.........
