I have returned!

I'm back from Vancouver everyone and I had a blast. It was an awesome experience... tons of good food and thanks to my cousin I was able to do lots of things that I dont have here in my city. There was this kick ass indoor go carting place. Yes I sucked horribly cuz it was my first time but so much fun. I drank tons of bubble tea....ate the freshest sushi ever and of course fresh king crab. There was this arcade which had nothing but imported japanese games so that was fun and then there was the convention. Well it was quite a dissappointmnet. Very poorly organized and extremely spread out. Ok so the convention took place at Simon Fraser University and I'm guess they were to poor to afford to rent one entire section so they rented out random classrooms. The dealers rooms were all in classrooms and there was only 7 exibitors. And the people working there made it sound like that was so good. I was In line to get into the dealers room and this girl behind me says to the guy at the door "i really need to find Happy hustle high" and the person working the door to the dealers room was like "oh dont worry im sure you will, we have SEVEN manga dealers.." thst is so sad. Artists alley was even bigger than the dealers room. Oh another stupid thing about this convention you werent allowed to bring your own bags so you had to chech them in to a bag check for 2 buck. I know it sound stupid that im complaining over 2 bucks but thats not the point... the place is so crowded and so heavily watched that i really wondered who would actually try to steal something, and to make it worst the bag check is half way across the university grounds from where the dealers rooms are so I had to walk all the way back just to check in my bag. The one thing about this convention that i have to say was considerably better than the last one was the cosplay. Not the cosplay contest (which sucked compared to the CNA but thats a whole nother post) but just the cosplay in general.. well heres a link to some pictures. Sango Itachi Vash Sango Sesshoumaru Ok i just had to say somthing about this next one. I was walking around asking people to take their pic rite. I see this person dressed up like Yuna and I told my friends wow that Yuna looks pro. So i go up to her and ask for a pic and it turned out that it wasn't a her afteral it wa a him. Thats rite a guy tehat dressed up as yuna. I've seen pics with guys dress up as girls all the time but this is the first time i've actually seen it in real life. It was so funny. He was in the cosplay contest to and to my surprise he danced better than all the girls in this cosplay group.. lol... I took a video clip but im not sure how to put it up for you guys to see.. but ill figure it out it should be up soon. Ok now enjoy Man Yuna Man Yuna Yes that was a man! @_@ Lenne Kakashi Rikku The guy you see in the next two pics was hitting on all the girls who dressed up in FFX or FFX-2 characters. He kept going up to them and getting people to take pics like the following. In the one with Yuna, which is a girl this time, some one told him to finish the job and kiss her. He attemted but slapped him and ran off.. had to be the funniest moment of the whole convention. Lenne and Tidus Yuna and Tidus School starts tomorrow I'm dreading it so bad. My gosh it time for hell again... T_T

Anime Convention

Well its finally here. My long awaited trip to Vancouver is finally here. I'm leaving early in the morning and I wont be back until next saturaday so ill fill you in and post pics of the convention when I get back.. Ill try to get pics and stuff up before that but that may be difficult since my uncle is internet deprived. Before I take off ill check in again so i wanna see what you guys suggest. I need some suggestions for new manga series to invest in same for anime. I often end up wasting money buying crappy anime and stupid mangas so I've decided to make a list this year and try to stick to it... ok i gotta go finish packin now ^_^

Hey guys I'm back again and this time it was under a week so I'm quite proud of myself. One week left to Vancouver. Sorry I havent been stopping by lately me and a friend of mine got really addicted to Super Smash Bros. Melee. We've played an average of 5 hrs a day. Then at around 10pm we would get together and watch a movie. I've seen a couple of pretty good ones. Lets see coach Carter and Million Dollar Baby very good, then of course I saw some that made me go wth! I started some new animes too. Ummm.... Full Metal Panic, Samurai Champloo, Yakitate Japan and Chrono Crusade. What do i think of these so far.. Well Full Metal Panic kinda reminds me of Escaflowne a bit Samurai Champloo is ok the fight scenes are good and so is the animation but the whole idea of searching for the smelling samurai guys i kinda weird. Yakitate Japan was much better than I thought and Chrono Crusade is the best so far hopefully the ending doesnt ruin it. As you can probaly tell my summers been pretty fun so far. Lots of hangin with my friends, sleeping, eating and watching anime. Hope ur summers been just as fun. ^_^

Hey ho everyone. Been a while since I dropped by. Not that I've been busy or anything just extremely lazy. Thats what happens during the summer holidays. I've been sleeping and eating a lot as usual. Can't say I've watched much anime though. Just havent been able to find something I'm intrested in with my main anime source being cut off I'm still despratly searching for alternative. Two weeks though then i'll have my hands on all the anime i've ever wanted with a cost though. Anyone wanna guess why. Well... any gueses. Thats right its convention time again. Since i live in canada there arent many coventions that are worth going to but with lots of internet research and even more begging my parents I'm once again able to attend a half decent convention. Last year i went to my first convention in Toronto, the canadian national anime expo. I had a blast and this year im heading off to the west coast for anime evolution in Vancouver. Me and a friend were going to cosplay but again lazy got the best of us so were going as ourselves again.

I've Returned !

Wow its been what like a month now since I last dropped in. I've been back from my trip in europe for a few days now but this is the first chance I got to post something. I've been busy doing the usual post trip things unpack, do laundy, figure out the damage done to my bank account the basic things like that. You guys are probably wondering how the trip went. It was pretty good considering the fact that my parent litteraly had to drag me along. Every year we make a trip somewhere and I usually dont spend much time at home during the holidays so sometimes i just wanna take a break from all the travelling and kick back and relax at home. I know I've been told by pretty much everyone, you get to go to europe and your complaining!!! hmmmm.. come to think of it thats what they say about every trip I make not just this one but getting away from that the trip was more fun than I had expected. We did lots of cool stuff, and dont laugh at me for this one i know its sad but i got to travel by train and boat for the first time in my life. That was pretty exciting. I saw lots of old monuments and historical battle sites. Pretty intresting.... The one thing that dissapointed me the most was the food. People always say that french food is really good and that italian pasta and pizza is the best but I found it to be really oily and the sauces all had wine in them so they were somewhat wine tasting. I'm a big food person next to anime I would have to say food is my next biggest obssession. Don't get ideas that im some kind of a food critic or anything when i say im obssesed with food i'm saying that I like to eat all food all day long litteraly. Oh remember the bombings that happened in London about 3 weeks ago well the hotel that we were suppost to say in was right in front of one of the explosions. Injured people were actually being carried in and treated in that hotel. In the end we did go to London and im happy we did. I found this massive anime and manga store about 5 block from the hotel. I was so happy to see the huge selection they had it was better than all the ones in my city. I was in there for an hour just staring at the merchandise. Didn't leave enpty handed though, I bought this months issue of Newtype. I really needed a dose of anime and i was desprate. Returing home i was devistated to find that the local anime store where i get all my "legal" movies was forced to sell his entire anime collection. This is what happened. About a month before i left this new comic readers place moved in near the anime store. The comic readers also sell manga and rent legal anime dvds. The only problem for them was that they were charging like 5 bucks for a single dvd and thats for one day, plus if you late returing it its an additional 250 everyday. So for a forgetful person like me I usually comes close to 12 when i rent a single dvd. While at the other shop dvds are 1.99 and theres no late charges. Anyways the comic readers kept losing business to the other shop so they filed a report to the canadian film board. They investigated and they told him that he couldnt rent the anime and asian movies because there was no rating on them. Thats right no rating. They didnt catch him on the illegal download but the fact that the movies were unrated. Pretty stupid if you tell me. But thats all from me for now.

   Europe

Hey guys i never got a chance to write this before i left so Im actually writing this in Rome. Im on vacation with my family so ill probably wont be updating for a while. I attempted to finish changing the wallpaper and fixing some things on my site befoer i left but due ot stupid computer issues again i was not able to. Ya but anyways this is my short little post to inform you guys where i am. Enjoy!!

Best Friends?

Once again my page is under construction, and as you can proably already notice its not going to well. Im still having issues with some pics and since im goin on vacation soon i might not be able to finish. How's everyones summer vacation going so far? Mines been pretty good lots of late nights watching anime and such nothing to special. My friends and i are planning to have a hot pot party sometime this week hopefuly before i go, but we've been arguing a bit lately. I donno maybe im just paranoid but I always feel like the forth wheel. The other three usually just plan things out then they call me up and say ohh me,joe and jesse(not there actual names but bare with me)have planned to go to a movie. Its at 7 so do you wanna go? They never include me when they make there decisions, its always "ok well decide on what we wanna do then call tsuruki to see if he can drive." Ok so maybe my movie example is really crappy but just imagine a scenerio like that for everything from movies to breakfast. I'm just the taxi driver the last person they call just to say were friends and we care so now you want to drive us? I'm pretty sure you guys are probably saying this sounds like a stupid girly problem but im just probably over reacting, I just really needed to get that of my chest.. wooooooo. Much better. :) So enough ranting I know this is early and all but is anyone here going to anime evolution in Vancouver?

Wowzers i just spent the last three days fixing my comp so i couldnt drop by and leave a post. Im finally done writing finals and since then like I said before I've been spending pretty much every waking moment fixing this stupid thing. In the last 2 days you'll never guess how many times I wiped this stupid machines hard drive. Come on just guess... you wanna know how many 5 times thats right 5 times in the last 2 days. I just finished reinstalling all the programs i had on my comp before. My god what a hastle, all i can say is spyware,adware and viruses should all DIE!!! When i said i spent pretty much every waking moment fixing this computer i wasnt lying but i did manage to watch some anime in between the hours of slaving in front of the screen. I rented the Escaflowne series and watched pretty much the whole thing with my friend. I got cut off again at the last 3 episodes so i'm super pissed about that too, but man is Escaflowne ever an underrated series. I thought it was pretty good. It wasnt one of those " friendship can get us through everything" series and it actually had a pretty deep storyline, something i just dont see in some of the newer series. Oh has anyone seen the new movie Howls Moving Castle, I think it came out already. I heard it was good any thoughts on that?

SICK

Ohhhhh.. ive been so sick lately so i haven't had a chance to drop by. Unfortunatly for me my finals start tomorrow so this was the worst weekend ever to get sick. I spent al of saturday sleeping and taking drugs and was forced to remove myself off by bed Sunday morning to study for my comp sci test. The funny thing is that everytime someone in my family graduates from elementary school and goes to high school i get sick. OK when it was my grad i got sick for a week and now its my sister turn to graduate and once again i sick. ohhhhh my aching head. Alright i better get back to studing.

   GSD 34

Holy crap has anyone else seen this episode? I watched it last night and at the last scene I was like 0_0.. I wont ruin it for those who havent watched it yet but my god I bever would have expected something so shocking. Personally I dont think he's dead, probably secretly hiding somewhere or something like that he's to important to die. Ya just had to stop by and post something about it. My english presentation went exceptionally well and the teach was really pleased, smiled and nodded in agreement the whole way through. The class laughed their butts of so that was good. Whos come to think of it finals are next week. Holy theree here again. Noooooo... ahh i better start saving up my sleep now cuz for sure next week i wont be sleeping at all. The hours of sleep i lose for school.
