Hey everyone! How are you guys/gals doing? Sweet, I appreciate you all and your comments! *so cool!* I wish I could do something in return!^_^

Today I'll be pretty busy...sorta...it's going to be a full day. Right now, it's almost 8:00 in the morning. I'll be working on my friend's basketball-on-wall surprise! *Egad, I hope it turns out all right!* After I work on that for a few hours, I'm gonna go to Six Flags to go see a Jeremy Camp (he's a Christian singer...very good!) Plus, we'll get on some rides, which I've been dying to get on (e.g. the Superman, Batman something...lol...all these other rides!)

I hope you all have a great day! Maybe I'll get a chance to visit your sites today...I hope at least! Take care!! XD

Hey everyone! I’m doing much better. I think things between my mom and me are much better *yay!* Man, I’ve found some really cool people here at the Otaku! ^_^

Well, I said I’d try to put some pics of my mission’s trip last year there in Kenya. It was an awesome time to spread the gospel!! Now, these pics aren’t extremely exotic, so don’t be expecting people with those huge plates in there bottoms lips and whatnot! lol The pics I have here are just a few of the hundreds I took! I hope you enjoy, and please let me know your thoughts!

*Note: I’m so sorry that these pics are huge! Lol I couldn’t adjust them, so just think of them as being “extra detailed.” Sorry for the inconvenience!

This is our church in Kakamega (‘kaka’ meaning…. and ‘mega’ meaning…. Put them together, and what do you get? …yeah…lol) Oh, and “Karibuni” is Swahili for “Welcome.”

This is the youth group there in Kakamega. Now if you can’t see the “wuzungu” (white people), then please check your eyes! O_O

This is the Pastor and his wife of the Kakamega church. Yeah, I’m that little Asian girl there…I think I’m the 2nd yellow/Asian person they’ve ever seen! Lol

This was the team I was part of. We had a pretty big senior class that year: our team with adults consisted of 25+ people or so.

This is what our team squished in. You can see how cramped we were by the above pic! Kinda reminds of that jingle…”Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Meyer …hotdog…or something…lol

We had pretty good food there too. Nothing too strange or exotic! But some of the guys on the team were tricked into eating “GOAT – HEAD SOUP” !! That was hilarious!

And I had to include this pic. This was our “toilet.” Yes, squat and... yeah, you get the picture! lol

Ok, I'd like to learn how to set up "blogs." I think I'd like to give my site an "updated" look, but I really don't know how to set up blogs. Do any of you guys know how I can do so or where I could learn how to do it?

Also, I want to put up some Africa pics of when I went there last year - I guess for a contribution thing for my buddies who are there right now! They're coming home next Wednesday at like 10:30 p.m.! Can't wait! *whoohoo!* I've gotta find some time to put the pics up though, but hopefully soon! ^_^

Hey Everyone! Whoo boy, I’m pretty tired. Let me just say that it was a long night last night. Last night was rough. Mom and I had a major argument over something so trivial. I tried to apologize for my behavior, but I don’t know if she forgave or not. But something I’m so scared of is turning out to be something or someone I so disgust. Like, isn’t it strange how we can tend to easily pick up on the bad habits our parents exemplify before us, yet we struggle to even try to imitate their good ones? Does that make sense? I began to think of “what if I got married and had kids…would I behave like this?” If ever I were blessed enough to be given a husband and a family of my own, I’d rather die than treat them as I have been treated or even as I have treated others in such a dishonorable way. So I spent the majority of the night crying, and now my eyes are like puffer fishes! lol Jeepers, I feel as though I just poured something out that’s been in me for a while, yet it’s still in me and will never go away. But nevertheless, I feel somewhat relieved. Hehehe...I’ll try to come up with some light hearted stuff later! Take care everyone! ^_^

Hey Everyone! Thanks for your support during these recent times - much appreciated! ^_^

So this is day 2 of our PP project. We've pretty much put together something...and I mean just something...lol But we'll get the Boss Man's input soon. (He's creepy...well sorta... but he's pretty nice. I sorta get this weird vibe from him, but I think it's nothing...lol). The other two interns are real buddy-buddy with each other,
but I guess that's cool. I'll just do my best to...do my best! ^_^ I dunno...I still feel awkward in this kind of environment. Could you picture an artsy, Otakan (of all people!) working in a stuffy, half (not even a full) cubicle! *sighs* At least they pay well! XD

Well, I'll try to get to your sites today! Take care and have a good rest of the day! n__n

Whew boy, today seemed like it was a loooooong day, but now it's over. So today the 3rd intern came in. Geez, when #3's around, intern #2 acts completely different. I sorta don't like it 'cause I feel somewhat left out. I really hope I can get one of my friends to join the company; that would be so cool!

Well, at least with #3 here, we can finally get some work done. Our boss man has us three working on some research so that we can create and present a PowerPoint presentation by next Tuesday. I'm sorta nervous because we each have to speak in fron of the "Big Guys" of the company. *AAAARRRGGH!!* ...I need to pray about it!

Well, I'm off to visit other peoples' sites. I'm really enjoying seeing/meeting new people! XD

Well, y'all wanted Cloud too, so here' both of them...well, at least their backs!

Hey everyone! Happy Memorial Day! Do be sure to remember what this day truly means! Take into consideration for all the people who died on your behalf so that you could live the lives you live today! ^_^

*This day would also be good for me to remember the goodness of the Lord, and all that He's done for me! If any of you can share that sentiment, please share it with me!*

So today was out picnic. We had a great time. I actually got there early so I could help Mrs. L with making that bball on her daughter's wall. Just FYI for those who don't know what I'm talking about, this project with Mrs. L is a surprise for when Emily comes home from Africa! So, I did a rough sketch on the wall; I'm glad Mr. and Mrs. L like it thus far! ^_^

So, what did you all do today? Anything special? Hope y'all had a good day. Now I'm off to visit other sites!

-Oh yeah, I've hit now 400 site hits! I'm quite happy. I've met new folks lately and made new friends. There are tons of people I'd still like to meet out there in the Otaku world! ^_^

It's late, and if people don't get a chance to comment, that's ok! ^_^

Well...today was a long day. After a full day of church (which went well ^^), a lot of people from church went out to play a game of softball. I wanted to go, so I went ... without my glove. >_< How dumb! I was a little upset, but I got over it. lol Anyway, our team chose me to be pitcher. Now, I had a dream a while ago about my playing in a softball game. In my dream, I got rocked in the face with the ball...and I was pitching too. So, I felt pretty antsy about being pitcher, but I couldn't talk my way out of it. In the end, I didn't get smacked in the face with the ball, but my pitching did stink! lol Nevertheless, it was a great time (even though we lost: 6 to 12, their way... T_T)

Oh, I did see that X-Men movie. For all of those who haven't seen it, I'm about to complain/discuss some parts. So if you don't want it spoiled for you, then don't read this part! lol Anyway, it was sorta sad in a way. I wasn't expecting Prof. Xavier to get blown up or whatever by Jean. And what happened to Scott (Cyclopes)? And does Magneto still have his powers? (Hmmmm...so apparently, this wasn't a cure but a suppressant[?]) Well, if you saw the very end after all the credits and whatnot, there was a nice goody about Xavier...
So, for all who did see it, what were your thoughts about it?

Well, I've got another busy day to look forward to, but it should be a fun day as well. We're going to be at that picnic tomorrow, which should be fun! I think they want me to do some face painting too... hehehe, maybe I'll do some "sharigans" or something. ^_^ Have a great day tomorrow!

Hey everyone! How are ya doing? Today's just a laid back day, which is nice. Actually, I should be getting back to do some chores *gag* I really don't like doing household stuff...oh well, it's gotta get done!

This is cool: I'm gonna try to help the mom of one of my friends (who are in Africa right now). Mrs. L. (that's what we'll call her for now!) wants to surprise her daughter when she gets home in a week and a 1/2. So she and I are going to paint a giant basketball in her room. My friend, Emily, loves bball...alot! She evens has this pic I drew her a long time ago, I don't even know when or that I even did it! lol So this project will be fun - I hope it turns out all right! ^_^

I might be going out tonight with some friends to see that X-Men movie. It should be a fun time. What do you all have planned this weekend? Whatever you do, have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Ahhhh....today is Friday! Oh yeah! It's been my first week at work and I'm already ready for a vacation, even if it's just 3 days. XD I've got a nice picnic with some friends and family that I'm lookin' forward to this upcoming Monday. *sighs with relief* Man, I'm so looking forward to it! :P

I hope everyone's doing all right as well! I really appreciate all of your comments. It gives me something to do during the downtime. And I hope there is no confusion out there: I'm not in the coal mines picking coal! lol ^-^ I'm here in an office doing office stuff...*yay!* Soon, it'll get really busy here, but I think I can still manage the Otaku. We'll see, won't we? Well, take care you guys and gals, and I'll try to visit your sites later! ^_^

Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children ~ What Character Are you?

You are Vincent! Quiet, mysterious and knowing, you've spent your time observing others and gathering information about your world. Although cold on the outside, you are actually a very nice and caring person. You just don't get to show it.
Take this quiz!

*After watching the movie, I think Vincent became my fav character (as you can probably see by my new changes! XP)
