Greetings, everyone! My, my... It's been quite a while since I've come here. Well, a lot seems to have happened this past weekend, so I was not able to visit that many of you all. Sorry! Despite it all, I hope you are doing well. ^_^
An Evening of Puccini
Well, we had 2 nights of this particular performance, one on Friday and the other on Sunday.
Friday's performance was certainly not out best. On one particular act, the flutists began way TOO FAST. My professor was saying that the conductor was quietly screaming at them, "SLOOOOOOW DOOOWN!!" Too late. Thus, when we came in, we were like a train crash, stacked upon each other. Fortunately, you would only have to have a good ear to really have heard that...
The good news is that the concert sold out. I told my dad that we messed up, but he didn't notice it at all. *shrugs* It could have been worst.
Sunday went much better, yet we still have our flubs. One of the key singers missed their cue and didn't enter on to the stage. O_O So what was basically a two-part performance inadvertantly became one. *grins* I'm glad that this particular performance is over. Opera is all right and such, but still... asi asi...
The Building Project
I've also been busy at the work project. It is coming along quite nicely. If anyone needs some grouting done in their home, well, feel free to contact me. *winks* Over the many months, I've obtained some really neat skills when it comes to construction. However, last night was rather dry and dull since I and several others hauled bricks (big ones) down to the basement. *le pant*
My pastor has bumped the date to November 17th. On that day, we're going to have the people from our Sterling (Virginia) church come up and visit for the ceremony. That'll be cool, but we still have a good push to go. *collapses onto chair* Plus, we still have a wedding to hold, which will be on the 10th of November, which is what we truly pushing for. -___-;
Anyway, I thought I'd take some time and introduce you to a couple of my friends in a little video. I used my camera to shoot this, so please bear with me! ^^;
Can you guess this guy's favorite beverage? XD And yes, he goes to our church and brings us many laughs. He also likes to pick on me, so I threaten to open up his stitches with a good 1-2. Don't mess with the Sushi. ^^
Good bye
Rather short, or I think it is. Sorry I haven't gotten to your sites. I miss you all! *hugs* I'll try to catch up over the next few. *hands out Chick-fil-A coupons*

Fish-eye soup
Hey y'all! How are ya doing this fine day? ^^
A lot of you all picked up on all the good news that seems to be arising lately. It was real nice of you to send your warm blessings our way! I must say, it's a nice feeling. I'll try to enjoy it all while it remains. ^^
A Way Out?
Some of you may recall when I was griping about what I wanted to do after my time at the community college - how I was all like, "What should I do?", "Where do I go?", blah blah blah, yada yada. Well, I was talking to my piano teacher yesterday, and she brought that subject up. I responded with my usual "IDK!"
I told her I'm most hesitant about transfering music due to the auditions: I don't have the right stuff under my belt, i.e. repertoire. So she asked, "Why don't you take the next year with me, and I'll try to whip you into shape. Then you can 'Wow' them." ^^ Just then, I felt a whole weight lifted from me! Maybe I should do that! I'm sure that would help my confidence as well as my skills.
Let me remind you that the piano teacher I'm talking about is the very same one that, I've heard, makes EVERYONE of her students cry, including me.
Side Note: A Story about My Teacher
Yes, my teacher is likened to a Catholic nun, the old fashioned ones with rulers in their hands, ready to crack on your knuckles. Fortunately for us, she doesn't carry a physical whip/ruler. Her presence is enough for that.
A friend was telling me the other day that she has made all her students cry at least one. I can testify from personal experience! Anyway, on one account, she got one student so upset, from what I heard, he was ready to strangle her! O_O Bad times..
But please, don't get me wrong at all! She is the best piano teacher I could probably ever have! She is strict as "HELL" but it all is for our good! LOL XDD
Your Local Wal-Mart
I went to Wal-Mart in Sunday to pick up a few things. It had been quite some time since I've gone to Wallie. However, my recent trip reminded me why I dislike going to that particular store:
1. Too many people with too few check-out lines.
This has to be my number 1 reason why I don't go to Wal-Mart. Every time I go, there are always tons of people there, swarming about their business. Anyway, there are at least 20-25 check-out stations - what kills me is that only 5 of them are open! GRRRR! That is terribly annoying and just so wrong.
2. The People...
I don't recall having any terrible experience with the people at Wal-Mart. It's more or less the people in general. I live in an area that's predominately red neck/ghetto. Wal-Mart is a great place for seeing both. I feel like a fish out of water whenever I go there... *cringes*
Hmmm... Only 2 reasons. Well, they're 2 good reasons in my book. *closes book*
Grave of the Fireflies
My dad has this NetFlix account and gets movies for the whole family. I asked him if he could rent some anime stuff for me, so he updated his account where he could get 2 movies at a time. So top on my list was Grave of the Fireflies. Have any of you seen this before?
I've heard of the title from a few people here on the O and became interested myself. Wow, if you ever feel like taking a break from the stereotypical anime, i.e. superpowers, super babes, etc., then may I suggest this one. It does have a depressing tone... Maybe depressing isn't the word, for I don't want to incite emotional deression. However, it is not your "Happy Ham-Ham" type, yet is beautifully and well done. Check it out if you have the opportunity! I've watched it twice so far...
Ahn Young
Hehehe... I like saying that. "Ahn Young." So I'll see you all later! Take care, my friends. I hope to see you again later! ^^ *Hands out Wal-Mart Happy Face stickers*

I'm sooooo tired!
Hello! How are you guys and gals? ^^ I hope you had a nice weekend.
It was interesting that a lot of you all thought it was strange that my friends never dated, per say. Well, they may not have "dated," but doesn't mean that they haven't gotten to know each other really well. They're ready for marriage, and I know for a fact that they'll be happily married! ^^ The date for their marriage is November 10th, my mom's birthday! O_o
Oh, and I never mentioned that I was adopted? Wow, I thought I mentioned that detail some time... Oh well! Hehehe... I'll have to put a pic up of me and my family. Be prepared to be shocked... XD
Yensid, you're so right in what you said in your comment concerning the whole adoption thing: "Love is love." *nods with approval*
Meeting the Baby
I talked about the adopted baby in my last post: that was before I got to meet him.
Well, that night, I was able to see him for the first time! He is such a cutie with blonde, curly hair and big, blue eyes. He's also a porker! I think he's 9-10 months old and weighs roughly 24 lb.! Heehee.. I love chunky babies. And the best part is that he doesn't cry a whole lot! I have to say, if there's anything that can drive me up the wall, it's hearing babies cry for long periods of time! ^^; Some babies are really good at that too! O_O
Speaking of Babies...
Yeah, you can probably figure out what I'm going to talk about.
Do you all remember the couple that got married last year? I was a bride's maid. Here's a pic. As you look at the pic, well you can decipher the couple I'm speaking of, and I'll be the lil' Asian girl on the far left. ^^
Well, *drumroll* my good friend is expecting! I'm really happy for her. I know they were planning to have a child when the project dies down some. Guess now is the time.
What Else?
This will be a whole bunch of randomness. Teehee... I like randomnocity!
- Somegirl, you're right. I'm from the "good" part of Korea. ^^ But people better not get on my bad side. Kim Jong Il is my uncle! BWAHAHAHAHA! *looks around* I'm just kidding! ><'
- I learned something about my biological mom from my Korean friend. My Korean name is "Ha Joo Lee" and my mom's is "Ha Jin Lee." Apparently, my mother was fairly young when she had me because her name is apparently "contemporary" or something. Interesting...
- That "cute" dog you all saw in my last post is the very same dog that my mom has threatened to get rid of. We also adopted him by the way, from Lab Rescue. The first few months with him were like "Heck." Lol. *looks at picture*
Sorry for posting it again. But look at him, grinning at you with that... loveable... adorable puppy smile. We adopted him too from Lab Rescue. ^^ The goofball that he is. It's a good thing he can pull off that puppy smile. I think it's saved his butt a couple close times! Lol
Ok, well that's pretty much it. I thought I had more to say, but I guess not. Lol. That's a good thing, huh? I'll see you all later! *huggles* Hmmm... "Huggles" sounds like a diaper.

Gosh! It's been a little while since I've been on and updated. I wanted to stay off some just so I could focus more on work and my midterms. Speaking of midterms, I think I did much better than I did on the quizzes, but there's still this uneasy feeling going on... It could be that I'm hungry...
My Best Friend's Wedding
I took that title from that movie. I've never seen it though. *shrugs* My friends' wedding that'll occur in November came as a surprise to some of you. Heehee. My friends, especially the bride-to-be, are ready to get married. They don't want to waste any time!
Also, they were never boy/girlfriends, but they've known each other for about 5 years or so. So they're really good friends. Does that sound strange? I don't even date myself. Too complicated and I wouldn't want to be subjected to certain situations.
Anyway, I'll try to get a pic of the couple. ^^
Adopt a Baby
Earlier this week, I heard some good news from some of my friends. There's a couple in my church (actually, they're the parents of the bride-to-be) who have been trying to adopt a child for who knows how long. I swear, it seems like adoption is getting more complicated than it should be.
Anyway... They FINALLY were able to see there son! He's 10 months old and sounds like a real cutie. Even better is that they get him today!! So I get to see him all night tonight! Oh, that reminds me - I should take my camera. ^^
It's funny. This will be their 2nd adoption. Their first adoption was Mary - the bride! They adopted her when she was in her 20's. People, even today, are like, "You all adopted an adult?!" Yeah, so?! It was a special situation under which they made that choice and have had no regrets whatsoever.
If you can't tell, I highly advocate adoption, since I'm an adoptee myself. Both my sis and I were adopted from Korea (the GOOD part of Korea), and we have the "whitest" parents you can imagine... well, sorta! XD
Recap of Ramblings
I thought I'd make some brief commentary concerning different things you commented on and miscellaneous.
- I wonder if I scared any of you all with my "I can see the future" buzz. Lol. While I don't believe in coincidences, I must admit that was a timely dream. ^^
**Note: Knight Edge, you asked me what I saw in the future for your "Cursed Knight". *ponders* Unfortunately, I'm not Raven from That's So Raven (Gosh, I hate that show, as well as many other Disney shows), but I think you'll get more readers and your story will have a great finish. I am curious as to how it'll end...
- My work situation... Well, yes, it is a bummer that I could lose it by the end of October. I don't know if I mentioned this, but my boss is in the process of hiring another person that would take her place when she retires. Thus, this prospect has to be good. She has found someone in mind but has to do further interviews with him.
That be the case, I'm not too bummed. The guy doesn't have a job as of now, so this would be a great opportunity for him. Plus, the work I do is very monotonous. I've been thinking for the longest time that this would end soon. I'll be okay with that. It's not as though they don't like me: they do. It's just that they wouldn't be able to keep me busy.
- An Evening of Puccini - that's what our performance will be. This week, we had our extra practice day with the orchestra. Whoo boy! We still need some work, but it's coming along all right. We have to be ready by next Friday! *crosses fingers*
Ahn Young
That means "Good bye" in Korean. I met a nice Korean lady at college. She wants to get together with me: she'll help me learn Korean and I'll help her with her Engrish. *looks around and chuckles*
So I shall end this day with a random picture of my doggy, Motor.
This is the face of terror, people! If you see this 120-lb oaf charging toward you, be prepared to get hurt. Lol. He is a lovable mug.
Toodles! I hope to visit today too! *hugs*

Cest la Vie
Hey you guys! How have ya been? Hope your weekend went well. ^^ Now onto the post...
Dreams Really Do Come True!
Ok, you all can probably guess what I'm about to say. ^^ Do you all recall the dream I had in my last post? It was about my friends getting married. Well, well, well. MY DREAM CAME TRUE!! Let me share some of the details.
During my vacation, I noticed two of my friends getting really buddy-buddy with each other. As I watched them together, it dawned on me that they may really like each other, I mean like-like. ^^ Then talk went around that they really did like, maybe even love, each other. I started joking with my other friends that I smelled a wedding around the corner, but it was just a joke, nothink serious.
Well, last Friday, I was running a bit late for the work project. As I approached the parking lot, I noticed a group of folks standing outside. When I went up to some of my friends, one said to me, "Guess what, Sarah. Tim asked Mary to marry her!" I responded, "Huh. Really. I wouldn't have guessed that one coming!" Lol.
I'm so happy for them! I think they're planning on having the wedding some time in November. Hopefully by then, the work project will be over for the most part, and we can hold the ceremonies inside the new building. ^^ *crosses fingers*
Note: LS, if dreams really do come true, I would watch out for fighting chickens... *smirks*
Work No More?
As I'm typing this, it's around 10 o'clock. I just got out of this one-on-one meeting with my boss. She said that she noticed something different in my character, like I was down or something. I told her nothing was really wrong, but there were things on my mind that I didn't inform her.
Lately, my boss has been looking for another prospect to fill in this position I'm currently involved in. That would be good since the work I'm doing is getting a bit tedious and monotonous. But it's work, so I try not to complain or nit-pick at it. However, it struck me that if she gets another employee, what will that leave me?
So thinking that I could lose this job did get me a little disappointed, yet I didn't let her know this. If things go well for this favorable prospect, I may be ending my coal career at the end of October. Shucks, I was hoping to continue to the end of the year. However, my boss did say that I could work a couple of weeks during the winter break (2 weeks), so that's all right. *sighs* We'll see what will happen I guess. The only thing I can do now is just wait. Fortunately, should things not go the way I had hoped, I may be able to work elsewhere where a bunch of my friends are currently working.
In Other News
Here's just a few more things I thought I'd quickly mention from my last post:
1. I did terrible on that quiz. Now midterms are this week, so I need to step it up!! *screams*
2. According to Dictionary.com, "futz" is also a combination of two words: I don't want to say because they are vulgar... -__- So, LS, you were right when you said "futz sounds like a dirty word." XD
3. Two nights of concert choir practice for our performance in almost 2 weeks. I think we're going to die... ^^;
Ok, that's all, folks! ^^ I'll see you all later and will try to make some visits later. For those who might have signed my GB recently, I'll also try to swing by. Take care, everyone!!

Greetings! Sorry for the flippin' long post yesterday. I had a lot happen the previous week, and I guess I got carried away. *blushes* Hopefully this will be a much shorter post. *grins*
I Had a Dream
"Uh oh," some of you may be saying. I know: my dreams are rather random. At least some of the dreams I hear some of you all speak of have some coherency. But I think this last dream I had makes more sense that "green peppers and fairies." *looks around and chuckles* Some of you may recall that...
This time was different. It might have to do with my recent vacation. During my vacation, I had a lot of friends with me, some of them were families (5 families) and the rest of us are single young people. *coughs* Some older than others... Anyway, I have 2 friends in particular who seem to have "something" for each other.
Thus in my dream, I saw the two get married! Prophetic? Maybe. There is also a lot of hub-bub going around about these two, like "GET MARRIED ALREADY!" That would be so cool. I would love to see my friends get married. My one friend has been single sooo long (she's almost 30) and has almost given up on marriage, but this may be the opportunity she's been hoping for. ^_^ *claps hands together*
What Is "Futzing"?
My family currently consists of me, my dad and mom, and our pets (a bunny and chunky doggy). I would gander that we're a relatively "normal" family, but we do have our moments (probably more than others) of squabbling and bickering, especially over little things. Go figure.
Well, the other day, my mom was apparently annoying my dad. She tends to putter around the kitchen or something and accomplish absolutely nothing. How she does, no one ever knows. My dad calls what she does "futzing." The new vocabulary caught me off guard. I asked him if that was a real word and he said it was.
Of course, I had to see for sure, so I went to dictionary.com to check it up. Lo and behold, this is what it said:
futz - to pass time in idleness; to waste time or effort on frivolties
My dad does a lot of crossword puzzles, so I can understand how he came up with that one. *looks at you all* Well, now you can use this NEW word with your friends. It'll make you look like the hot shot at parties. Hey man! Yeah, I've just been futzing around today at work. *winks* Instant coolness guaranteed!
Finale
I guess that's all! Lol Talk about randomness. I just had to get that out of my system.
Oh yeah! Recall how I was a bit anxious about school since my mind's been acting like poo? Well, yesterday, class wasn't bad at all, but I did have a quiz... a HARD quiz. I forgot to look on my syllabus so I thought it was a pop quiz. D'oh! >_< I think I did terrible on that...
Also, I have another choir concert coming up! I think this will be a nice one. But the Latin is hard to sing. I can't sing in the first place, but in another language? You might as well shoot me...
*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Okay then, that is it! I swear!! Lol. Take care you all have a super day. ^^

Warning: Another Long Post Ahead!
Howdy, everyone! I'm back! Whoohoo!! ^^ I missed coming around to your sites but was able to do some visiting yesterday. Glad to hear you all are doing all right! *hugs everyone*
From reading some of your comments, I think I might have confused some of you. Some thought I was vacationing at Maryland. *shakes head and points to profile* No, I'm from Maryland and went to North Carolina in the Outer Banks. ^_^
My Vacation - Brief Recap
The following events will be in white. If you don't feel like reading them all, just skip through them. I tend to ramble on and on and on... Lol
My vakay went really well. It was from Saturday to Saturday. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures as of right now. I need to figure out how to get them on the computer.
Saturday
We intened to leave around 7 a.m. However, our leader lost his keys, so we wound up leaving around 8:30. *shrugs* No big deal. We shortly got very hungry and stopped at a Cracker Barrel. Mmmmm - Good eats!
I was driving my van-full of people and stuff. This would be a 5 hour trip, and I've never driven that much before. I wanted to do so to gain the experience. *looks around* Did that sound like an RPG? Lol. The drive did seem very long with too much "brake and go." So annoying. But finally, we got there around 5 p.m.
Our house was nice: it held all 17 of us without making it feel as though we were on top of each other. We unloaded our gear and did some shopping. Some ladies had already prepared food for dinner: lasagna! Whoot! That was soo tasty. ^^
Sunday
Today, some of us girl went to the beach by ourselves. We wanted to wear our bathing suits freely without any of the fellows being around. Just for modesty's sake, you know? So that was a lot of fun, although it was very windy it made tanning not enjoyable and made my friend's umbrella fly away. XD
Today was also my friend's birthday: she turned 19. *hugs Emily* She and her family were in another part of the area, only 2 minutes away driving. We went over to their house around 7 p.m. or so and brought desserts. I still need to get her something. *hangs head* I guess it'll be her belated-birthday/early Christmas gift. ^^; Hehehe..
Monday
I honestly forget what we did on this day. I do recall we had shrimp and scallop alfredo for dinner... O_o Oh wait, we went to the beach again. This time we hung with Emily's family and another family as well. So there was a good bunch of us at the beach. The water was still great. There was a lot of dunking and mud-flinging going on. XD Oh yeah, I also kayaked in the ocean. It was fun, but I did get knocked out a few times. My ankle sorta hurts. ^^'
I also stayed up until 3:30 a.m. to work on a 1000-piece puzzle. Lol
Tuesday
Today was a chillin' day. It was me and two others who volunteered to cook tonight. Since we prepared a pot roast, we just hung in the house just to be sure it went all right. And it did... We did have plenty to eat while there! Lol.
Wednesday
Some of us decided to go fishing this morning. Well, it was decided yesterday, but I didn't know any of the details. This included the fact that I didn't know I had to be out of the house by 6! Noooo...!! I was kicking against that because I didn't hear until 10 p.m. Tuesday. *shakes head* Oh well, right?
We had to be at the dock by 8. Twenty other people would be joining us for this 4 hour fishing trip. Do any of you get sea sick? Just wondering.
The fishing trip started off slow. I didn't think we'd get a bite at all! But it actually wasn't too long before my friend caught her first fish: a flounder. Funny thing was the firstmate making her kiss the fish! Lol. How mean... You should've seen her face and heard her screaming. All of my friends caught something, including me. And we all had to kiss our first fish. Hahaha! I'll try to get pics of that.
Thursday
Today was an eventful day! Em's group of people joined up with a bunch of ours. We went to Cape Hatteras, which is a lighthouse. What's special about this one is that a while ago, it was moved on a track a half a mile from where it used to be. It was rescued due to the weathered shores that would've engulfed it. Anyway, we went up the lighthouse, all 249 steps of it. ^^ It was quite the climb but beautiful nonetheless.
After the lighthouse, we went to Dirty Dicks, a seafood restaurant. Because we didn't really like calling that, we dubbed it "Double D's." ... Did any of you ladies catch that? Lol. The food was all right. Reminded me of Red Lobster.
Following our time at Double D's, we went to a golf course and played some putt-putt. I stunk so bad: only got 58 while 42 was ideal. Haha. We ended the day eating ice cream from Cold Stone.
Friday and Saturday
Not much happened these days. We tried to do some last-minute-souvenier shopping, more time at the beach and packed up our gear. It was a great time! I left there closer to my friends, with 10 spider bites, and NO SUNBURN!!
New Theme... Sorta
I changed my theme to suit the upcoming holiday, Holloween. ...Get it? HOLLOWeen? Bleach? ...Ok, whatever...
I miss my time at the OBX so much. I think I left my brain there because I had a hard time functioning at work yesterday. School might prove to be a hard mistress today too! Oh the agony of it all..
I'll try to make some more visits. Take care you all! *hugs*

Warning: Fairly Long Post Ahead - Sorry!
Lol. Glad you all loved the Ace Ventura picS. (I think I misspelled that last time I posted. My bad!) Both pics were from the first Ace Ventura: Pet Detective movie. XD
So Much to Do, So Little Time!
Oh my goodness... We didn't end the work night at the building project until 1:30 a.m.!!! I'm stinkin' tired as I type this, so if I sound incoherent or begin to ramble, please know I'm not insane! *smirks* Really, I'm not! My pastor was saying that the work night will probably end midnight tonight. Shucks... *sarcasm* I won't be there tonight! I have too much to do.
So today, I'm working just a half day at the coal company, mostly to make up for Monday. Today is also some sort of "Employee Appreciation Day" at the company. I think they're planning on doing something that involves karaoke and races, that is, relay races... not ethnic races... O_o Hehehehe... Wouldn't that be something: Karaoke time with your ethnic groups competing - You've got your soulful African-Americans, your spirited Hispanics, your Asians, Middle Easterners, and your Whities! Reminds me of that one season of Survivor... I hate "pc" sometimes...
Anyway, for the remainder of the day, I'll be running errands, doing last-minute chores around the house, and packing - lots of packing! It turns out that from Maryland, the trip to the Outer Banks will be from 5 to 7 hours long. I'll be driving a van full of ladies down: that's going to be a LONG drive. Hehehe... Fuel me up on some Red Bull first! ...Sugar honey ice tea... *looks around and grins* I need write all of this stuff out or it'll never get done! >_>' That reminds me! I need to set up my VCR (Yes, they're still around. The same for VHS - Video Home System! Lol) to record the upcoming Bleach episodes and whatnot. I'll also remember sunscreen: don't want another experience like I had before...
Anything New?
Nothing too new. The vacation is the biggest thing on my list.
Mother's Update
However, just to fill you in, my mother is doing much better. She's up and moving around. Heck, she feels really good some days, which means she goes into automatic "clean" mode. *rolls eyes*
Mom: Sarah, help with this. Sarah, help with that. Sarah, I think I just threw my back!
Me: Um, yeah! You do this all the time!!
She feels so good some days that she just overdoes it, which in turn knocks her out for the rest of the week. *shakes head* Mom... ^^;
New Art
I also put up another Bleach fanart. Lately, I've been in this drawing mood. Maybe I'll take my sketch book with me on vacation.

Quick Comments on Comments
Skip this if you all want to.
CrystalFlute - ZOINKS! You've just given me an awesome anime/manga to look into! I watched a little of that Nodame Cantabile, and omygosh! It's great stuff! So different from your typical anime/manga. Did you perchance see the live action, i.e. non-animated, version of it? It also looks very intriguing!! Thanks so much, buddy!! *hugs and gives donut*
ElvesAteMyRamen - You run that much and LOVE it? ^^ I give you credit, for I wish I shared those sentiments about running. But what caught my eye even more so was the fact that you traveled Europe with an orchestra! That is SO COOL! *squeals* I should so meet you in real life...
Sesslover18 - I'm sorry my Jim Carrey pic scared the crap out of you. ... Baby wipe? XD Just messing with ya. *hugs* You would be great as a design major. I hope you pursue that dream of yours. ^^
Yensid - THAT'S the other movie I couldn't think of... The Truman Show! Yes, that was really funny and had a neat story behind it. JC does save so much money. It's best to go there to knock out your basics! On a different note, somegirl is still here that I know of, just maybe not as often. Look, she commented last time! ^^
lordsesshomaru - Thanks for your concern concerning my well being... I think. If you consider "I hope you didn't fly off like the people in cartoons, Lol." as concern. By the way, no I didn't! I just had to stop after 13 minutes. ^^; What did you go to college for?
somegirl - I try to follow your rules! *pouts* It's not my fault that your rules are hard. *poopoo* By the way, I told Yensid that you thought she was my mom. Lol. She was like, "WHAT?!" Lol. It's all good.
Bye Bye!
I'll be gone for the entirety of next week. I hope to visit as many sites as I can before I leave. You may see me pop in here and there next week, but no posts. At least, that's what I plan on. ^_^
Have a safe and super weekend and following week! *hugs you all* FREE DONUTS!!

Hellooooo!
Greetings, everyone! I was able to make it to a number of sites yesterday, but if I didn't make it to yours, I'm sorry about that. ^^'
Yesterday, I wound up staying at the college ALL day. Well, most of the day: 12 in the afternoon to 9 at night. I have an evening course at 7 and thought it wise to just stay on campus to save some gas. It was all right. I ended up in the gym for an hour and a half, which was nice: I'm sooo out of shape. My legs are feeling the bittersweet aftermath of the treadmill. Then I headed for the computer lab and checked out some of your sites.
On My Mind Lately...
My time at the community college is winding down, so I need to start looking into other colleges. For those who don't know, community colleges are your "2-year" colleges that provide people with a lot of the basic education that can be used to transfer to your "4-year" college. They're typically cheaper yet still offer the same material that other colleges would accept.
Anyway, I got to thinking about what I would have to do to enter another college/university as a Music major. As I spoke to another classmate, he mentioned auditions for entry. Immediately, my mind panicked. I loathe auditions and dread playing in front of people. It's my pride/fear quite frankly. It pains me whenever I make a mistake in ANYTHING. Yeah, I've got issues, don't I? ^^;
So I might get an Associates in Music and leave it at that. Then I will go to another college to start something else, maybe business related. I don't know... I need some counsel or something! *sobs*
Outer Banks
Oye.. I'm looking forward to this week-long vacation. I think it'll give me time to contemplate my future some. Also, I'll be able to sleep! Hahaha...
There's going to be, let's see... *counts on fingers and toes* roughly 30 people going. That's almost 40% of our church that'll be going there. On one hand, that's cool that so many are going, but in another way, I don't want to be around them every day all day long. *shakes head*
I'll be taking a camera, so I'll post them up when I come back. Wheee!
Jim Carrey
Lol! I had no idea you all adored Jim like I did. Maybe not "adored," but still... ^^
MissFantasyGirl, I did know that Jim used to be on that show, In Living Color. Man, that was a hilarious show! That's how a lot of those guys made it big - was with that show.
My favorite movies with Jim Carrey include:
- Liar Liar
- Aventura: Pet Detective 1&2
- Dumb and Dumber
- The Mask and more!
So I shall wrap things up with a little pic I found. ^^

Hey! How are all you good people? ^^ I'm doing much better since last week: that's for sure.
All Righty Then
Hehehe... I love Jim Carey. I think he's my favorite comedic actor. Bah. I have so many, it's hard to pick just one. ...That was off subject...
Anyway, I must say that I think have come to a conclusion. I'm going to take the HHR from my folks. You can't really ask for more:
- It is practically new!
- I only need to help pay while I have a job!!
- They're still paying for the gas!!!
It's funny how you can come to a conclusion after you "thoroughly" consider the options and alternatives. ^^; I confess: I do need to be more grateful. Burger King's motto doesn't always stand true: "Have It Your Way." I also have ElvesAteMyRamen to thank for knocking sense into me. This is what she had to say:
"What?! *smacks you* Your parents are offering to GIVE you an almost brand-new car and you're thinking of not taking it because it's not exactly the kind of car you want to drive? *glares daggers at you* Girl, if my parents offered me a car like that, I'd completely jump on it and go singing off into the sunset!XP"
All I can say is..
LOL. Even though she smacked and dagger-glared me, she made a lot of sense. So Elves, if you read this, thank you! *hugs Elves* X3
A Bunch of Miscellaneous
Nothing new is really happening with me as of late. I'm still working and doing school. In fact, I have a make-up class today, so I'm working a half day and then heading to school to practice.
The building project that's been going on the past 2 years is nearing the end, yet we still ahve sooo much to do. Now our pastor has bumped up the number of work days from just 4 days a week to now 6! Crikey! Lol. I hope all this extra work will pay off. October's the finale, at least we hope so.
Oh yeah! I forgot that the next week, I'll be gone all week. My friends and I have planned to go the Outer Banks in North Carolina! *squeals* I can't wait! I still need to start packing and get some different things for the trip. I hear it's really nice down there. Ever been there?
Ok, one last things... What did you all think about the Bleach episode? That was pretty depressing... I don't think I've ever felt so down after watching anime! To make things worse, you had the cheezy ending theme (Happy People) to wrap things up. I know LordSesshomaru would agree whole heartily! Lol.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Enough rambling, Sarah! Lol. I'll end here. Take care you all! I'll try visit you all later. ^^
