   chapter three
Chapter 3
At this moment there was a loud crash. Sorin whipped around to see what happened; Abidan had collapsed on the floor. When he turned back the two men were gone. He ran over to see to his cousin “What happened!?” he cried to the bar tender. “’Fraid he had too much to drink I’d recon” the bar tender replied.
“Good job” he whispered to Abidan “now dads gonna kill both of us”.
“Better take ‘im home son” said the bar tender
“Yeah” Sorin said gritting his teeth while picking up Abidan. He slowly dragged him out the door. When he got outside and checked the suns position, only one problem. There was no sun to check. The sun had sunken out of the sky. “No” Sorin said realizing how late it was. He and Abidan were so dead when they got home.
Dragging Abidan home was one of the hardest things he’d ever done considering his weight verses Abidan’s. Though his mind was not on what he would receive when he got home or the weight on his back, it was on the memory of the hooded mans face. The image of his amber eyes with the silver hair that blended in with his white skin had so surprised Sorin that he knew he would never forget it.
When he had managed to drag Abidan all the way up the winding path to his house he was very tired and was ready to collapse in his straw bed. Though he did get the very welcome he expected from his father.
“Where were you two” He said through gritted teeth.
“The tavern” replied Sorin. He thought it best not to lie because his father would find out anyway.
“Why” Sorin’s father said his face almost red.
“Because Abidan suggested it and it sounded fun” he said not looking up.
“No supper and in the barn now”
“Yes sir”
“Wait” He stopped Sorin “What happened to him?”
“He passed out from the drink” Sorin said coolly.
“Take him to the barn and toss some cold water on him.”
“He’ll catch cold sleeping in the barn wet!”
“It’s what he gets for drinking without permission.” At this Sorin’s father went to the house locked the door behind him so Sorin could not appose him further. Sorin drug Abidan to the barn and lay him in the hay. He would not dunk water on the man who had treated him like a son his whole life. The fall air was so chilly that Sorin knew that Abidan would freeze if he was so cruel to wake him up in such a sudden way. He fell asleep soon after he had set Abidan in a somewhat comfortable position. He slept and had dreams of the east and fighting on the side of the Cairanians.

chapter two enjoy!
Chapter 2
”What are the ‘Cairanians’” Sorin asked. He knew of many clans to the north and south, but never had he heard of anything like that. “Long ago” the man continued “When the first men came over the sea, they all settled and lived peacefully amongst each other for centuries. But on the witching hour one night a child was born with white skin, silver hair, and…” he paused “Wolf eyes.”
Sorin was exited he was so absorbed he forgot all that had happened that day trying to imagine such a child.
“This child” The hooded man continued “Grew frightening in his speed and senses. He could run almost as fast as a horse on a short distance. He could smell game almost a mile away, and he could see in the dark. The boys name was Conall.” This name sounded familiar to Sorin like he’d read it in a book or something
“That name means strong wolf, it truly became a description of the boy. He would go into the forest at night to be with the wolves and communicate with them.” At this point he stopped and let the other man with the thin beard take over. “This boy did have a weakness though; he was incredibly sensitive to sunlight. You could almost see his snow white skin burn as if being cooked over a fire”. Sorin was chilled at the idea of being burned so severely by the sun. “The people grew afraid of Conall, and decided to send him away. When they proposed this to the boy he grew furious and ran away to a small cave in the mountains.
“In this cave he learned from an old witch how to create more of his kind, he had to expose a newborn under twenty-four hours of age to pure moonlight of a full moon. Why this happens no one knows the moon holds mysterious powers that no one understands.”
The speaker again switched to the man with his hood up “So Conall ran all over the world stealing new born boys and girls until he had built an entire new race of humans. All of them with white skin, silver hair and wolves’ eyes” The man paused and pulled in closer to the table “Though year’s later travelers were frightened by these people and began to slaughter them thing thinking they were monsters. The Cairanians became angered by this and started a rebellion that was the trigger for a war”.
Here he stopped and the man with the thin beard said “that’s the reason we came here. It was to escape the war, because if we hadn’t my friend would be dead” The hooded man removed his hood and Sorin almost lost his balance. The man had white skin, silver hair and wolves eyes.

chapter1 (please don't steal my idea)
Chapter 1

Sorin and his cousin Abidan were sitting around the fire place muscles sore from working the mill all day. Sorin was a strong boy of fifteen and helped his cousin and abusive father run a mill. He had bright green eyes, which had been a reason for harassment from the other children of the village since he was three. His hair was a dirty blond, and his figure was average for his age at that time. His cousin was a different story, his hair was a dark brown that was nearly black, and his eyes were so dark you felt like you were looking into an empty pit.
“Hey” Abidan asked.
“What” replied Sorin?
“Why don’t we go to the tavern for something to drink while uncles not looking?” he said sounding like he was in pain.
Sorin was worried “He’ll kill us if he finds out. You know that right?”
Abidan had never really feared their uncle, but sometimes he went too far on disobeying him. They were never allowed to leave home unless they had permission, and if they left without it there was a definite flogging waiting for them at home.
“So” he said coolly “who know their might be some travelers there that can share stories”.
This was an immediate hook for Sorin. He had always loved to hear of the other kingdoms. This idea made him want to go even though he’d been beaten enough today for his tastes. Abidan knew that he loved to do this so this was all just a trick to get him to go.
“Fine” he agreed “But we can’t stay long”.
They snuck out of the house avoiding the stable were they knew that their ‘father’ was drinking and beating the horses. They silently and quickly walked down the old road with the grass over running the edges of the road. The deep wagon ruts made the road, bumpy and easy to trip on. They would stumble every now and then but always managed to stay quieter than a mouse scurrying along the brush.
The town lights burned ahead, and the tavern stood above the rest like a giant among the clouds. The air was foggy with the smoke from the smith and other smoking chimneys. Stray dogs and cats fought over discarded bones, as drunken men rested on wooden pillars. The two boys entered the tavern both hoping for something different, Sorin wanting to hear of other lands, and Abidan wanting a good pint. They looked around the smoky room; it was dimly lit with muttering surrounding the area creating a dark atmosphere.
They went up to the bar; Abidan asked for his usual and Sorin asked if any new travelers were in. The bar tender pointed to a small group in the back “From the east, them. Usually there’d be a large group, but I hear of strange things from the east so I’d steer clear of ‘em”. Sorin hesitated for a moment, but he’d never heard anything of the east so he was half unwillingly pulled over. When he got to the table the two men looked up, they were both hooded and were carrying swords.
“Um” Sorin began, but something about the men scared him “I hear your from the east, I’ve never heard of it there what’s it like?” The men looked at him then each other, one looked at him again. “Son” he said and pulled of his hood, he had a stern face with a thin beard “We’ll tell you all we can, but when we want to stop you’ll let us stop”. “OK, sounds good” Sorin said pondering on the limits. “What do you want to know” the man asked. “Well, to start what’s that kingdoms trait? Or what makes it unique?”
Again they looked as if they were afraid to answer. Than the man who hadn’t removed his hood said “The Cairanians”.
