Zozobra
okay for those of you who don't know, zozobra is a brutal burning of a 35 foot tall man called oldman gloom and is sopposed to rid you of your sorrows. basicly they have a tin or box that you write down your sorrows in and they burn it with the puppet. but i got really pissed this time around. i wasn't really planing on going untill a guy at my school asked if we wanted to go with him. so we went, he meets up with his friends and just start smoking everywhere (these are highschoolers) and then just acting like were not there. so we are just like 'well fuck you guys' and leave. we find a good spot up front and listen to the horrible jazz band they have for like three hours!!!! finally the lights go out (by this time me and my friend are just like 'oh god i hate this')and there isn't very much room at first but then three ass-holes just walk right between us and make it so we're seperated and sandwitched between total strangers. i eventually get back to her but now we can't move and a woman is yelling at these guys because they shoved thier way into the crowd. finally when they burn him it accually gets fun its like W000000000000000000000000000 and my voice died cuz i yelled so much. i wont go into detail about trying to find my parents afterward (XP). so g'night
