augh i need to write about this
K so i found a forum called "twilight sucks"
yes i know "gasp! a hate site! are you a hater twili?!"
i joined because i wanted to hear the tragic stories of the tormented non fans of twilight.
aparently people have been seriously injured by these fans. and you can find reviews of twilight calling it a "poorly writen over flowery book" being bombed by girls that worship the said series as if it were their holy bible.
such as one that rated the movie 44% i will paraphrase the review
"I liked the movie better then the books because it was days shorter"
one of the replies?
"omg! how can you say that about AWSOME BOOKS!! and it took you days to read it DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!!"
geez he's obviously smarter then she....
what else oh yes here i have one of said tragic tails from twilight sucks blog
"There's this girl in my Freshman PE class who's a rabid. I'm writing a comic book about a vampire (using the actual mythology, only with a few of my own spins stuck on it), and she went off on this rant about how "OMG, VAMPIRES! HAVE YOU READ TWILIGHT??!! ISN'T IT SOOO AWESOME?!" after she saw me sketching my main character and a few little quotes down that I plan to use later.
I told her I'm not a fan and she told me that I'd better watch my back.. AND she growled at me. So, at lunch, I was with our group -- my friend Jacob (who despises Twilight as well) told me that she was coming to talk to me.
She tapped me on the shoulder, so I turned around and got bitchslapped, and screamed at for not having any taste and not knowing what good things were. She then told me I'd never amount to anything more than a fuckup because I don't understand Stephenie Meyer's genius. Jacob told her to back off, and she actually told him that if he didn't shut up that she'd chop off his nuts and gag him with them (true quote!)
Until our other friend called him Jacob, and then she went all freaky swoony over him. Jacob, obviously freaked out by all of this, told her to back off, and that if she got into his face again that he'd make her regret it. She ran away crying.
..What the hell, dude?"
there are many more. horrible horrible tales of this fandom. like girls trying to drown another because she didn't like twilight. dont get me wrong i have friends who like twilight. and i read the book and saw the movie. couldn't finish the second, but loved the first (at the time). but you need to read some of these reviews if you LOVED the books and keep an open mind. you may actually side with me on this. its really rather stupid
(im sorry AnimeAngel but i've been holding it in now i must let my displeasure out)
