Long Time No See.....
How is everyone? I hope you all are enjoying your week.
Well, the party that we had for my cousin, Bill, who went to Iraq, was sucessful. Well it kinda was and kinda wasn't. Everyone enjoyed the party and had a fantastic time. We even got complements from people on our house and what not. Anyway, it was going well until my uncle and aunt decided to leave without telling us. It's not that they went home, it's that fact that throughout the whole day, they never said that they were leaving. They also didn't help clean up after the party. It really pissed off my mom, my dad, and me. My aunt said she would send me some money if I helped my parents clean up and I did, yet I have yet to see any money. Not that it bothers me, but they should have at least cleaned the dishes and vaculmed the kitchen. That's all, or maybe walk around and pick up trash. It wasn't like we wanted them to clean the entire house, just help out. Also, they're the ones that threw the party, not us. Wouldn't that entitle them to at help clean up??? (Sigh) We're never going to do that again.
Other than that, the only other thing I did was go over to my Uncle David's house and go swimming. We stayed there for a while and had dinner with them. After that, we came home and sat around watching televison. We watched the news and some show called Geraoldo something... It was about gangs in the military. It was pretty intersting if asked me. Apparently, the military has all kinds of gangs in it, including the MS13.... Yikes!
Well, today was kind of laid back. I listened to music for most of the day and I watched Don't Be A Meance To South Central. I love the movie because it makes fun of some other moive that I don't know the name of. Though it has A LOT of language, sexual content, drugs, alcohol, and everything else under the moon; I still enjoy it. o_O I like weird movies.
OH! Before I go, I'm leaving next week for the beach. I'll be gone next Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We leave the beach that Monday but I don't know if I'll be updating or not. Though, that Tuesday I will definately let you know how it went. I'll update next Wednesday to remind you that I'm leaving.
Well, that's all I really have to say for now. Bye!
Word of the Day:
zodiac: 1. (as in astronomy) a belt-like region in the sky that includes the apparent path of the sun, moon, and planets, extending approximately eight degrees north and south of the ecliptic and divided into 12 equal parts, each of which is named after a constellation: "Thea talked endlessly of the stars as we lay under them, as if she had the entire zodiac memorized."
2. (as in astrology) the twelve signs, or houses, of the zodiac, where each sign corresponds to one of the constellations along the zodiac
3. a circle decorated with the signs of the zodiac
4. a complete circuit or circle
Origin: Approximately 1390; from Old French, 'zodiaque'; from Latin, 'zodiacus': zodiac; from Greek, 'zodiakos (kuklos)': (circle) of the zodiac, literally, circle of little animals, from 'zodiaion,' diminutive of 'zoion': animal.
Quote of the Day: "Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable." -Sidney J. Harris.
