Hey everyone!
Well, I hope you're weekend have gone the way you planned them and I'm sorry if your weekend didn't go so well. My didn't either if your wondering.
Well, yesturday was another lazy day for me. I was basically preparing myself for back to school on Thursday. Originally, I was suppose to start school on Monday, but our school in under major construction and the opening date was pushed back because it isn't ready to be opened. *dances* YES! Don't get me wrong, I really want to see my friends but I'm not ready for my school yet. Our school (since it's the only one in Jefferson County) is extremely over crowded. It was made for like a thousand students or something like that, but our school as somewhere between 2-3 thousands students attending it. *Sigh* I hate it because the hallways are crowded and there aren't enough lockers. I might not even get one this year.
Anyway, today I was suppose to go to the mall to do some school clothes shopping but my dad decided to do yard work instead. It's fine by me but I am disappointed; I was really looking forward to it all weekend. Well, our yard needs it. Our backyard looks like the New Mexico desert. lol It's nothing but weeds and large patches of dirt; it's been that way ever since we had the pool put in. Our front yard isn't much better. It was nice until we had a month and a half of asbsoutely no rain. *looks at yard* You poor, poor thing. lol
OH!!!!!!! We had the coolest thunderstorm last night. The lightning was amazing and the thunder was strong enough to shake the house. Just so you know, I love thunderstorms! I sit out on the porch and watching the lightning and listen to the thunder. It's one of my favorite past-times. lol Anyway, a lightning bolt came out of the sky and strunk right across the street from us. I was inside at the moment and all I heard was a LOUD zapping noise, you know, the sound that your fan makes when you plug it in and it's on. My dad was on the porch smoking when he saw it. We thought he was struck by lightning but he was okay. Thank god! Anyway, the storm went away but a few hours later it had circled back around for another go. We almost lost power that time. I knew it was bad the moment it came because all of the birds were flying west.... away from here. o_O Always watch the birds, they know what's coming.
Anyway, that's all I really have to say. So for now, I'll see you all later.
