As we all know, our dads are some of the funniest people we know. Or...at least, my dad is.

I just got my new Shonen Jump today, yes, the October 2005 issue isn't out till..Well, September! But, I'm subscribed, and, amazing, but true! it's not Yu-Gi-Oh! on the cover! It's...DUN DUN DUN! Naruto! Thank god! :) It's cooool! I got a One Piece trading card. I also got a playable demo of the new One Piece PS2 game, Grand Battle. But, I thought it was a demo for the comp, but no! It's for PS2, which I don't have! Anyways, that's my update, and I'm also happy that my first article was accepted! Yay! i'm proud.

This is my crappy layout. It's U2 themed now, cause that's the next band I'm seeing. September 16th, at the Air Canada Center. I know, I know, I suck at graphic design, so shoot me. And I apologize about the out-of-key theme song. It's STILL Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and I'm sorry. i'm trying to find Vertigo. Can anyone tell me a site where I can try and find it?

   OMG!!!!

The Green Day concert was awesome!!!!! They played 20 songs!!! Some of the stuff Billie Joe said was hilarious! Like the quote, that made everyone laugh. My mom likes Green Day cause they're so obnoxious....Like how Billie Joe never stopped moving the entire time. He was from one end of the stage to the other, he was on the drums, he was jumping up and down, and every song, at least twice, he yelled out:"Canada!"
But, course, they had support bands, two of them. They had Jimmy Eat World, who I like, and some anonomous newbie punk band called Anti Flag. Thses guys had absolutely zero lyrics. Their songs consisted of "F*** this, and f*** that. F*** Bush, f*** everything...Etc, etc, etc." So, in other words, they sucked.
It was like, Anti Flag was on at seven, and people were just there outta sheer boredom, then Jimmy Eat World came on at eight, and some more people came. Then, at nine, Green Day came on, and everyone flodded in. It was like "Thank GOD that's over! And thenk GOD Green Day's up now!"
They played(not in this order..) American Idiot, Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, We are the Waiting, St.Jimmy, Letterbomb(Just the Intro..), Wake me up When September Ends, Longview, Maria, Basket Case, She, Brain Stew, Jaded, Hitchin' a Ride, Good Ridance(Time of your life, people!), Minority, and King for a Day. They also did 2 covers, We are the Champions, and Stand by Me.
What else was cool, was that Billie Joe called up three people, one that could play guitar, one that could play drums, and one that could play bass. After he got them playing, he kissed the guy who played guitar and gave him his guitar. He also mooned the audience twice...-_-
I was tormenting my friends narukogirl and Vall cause Vall has a crush on Mike Dirnt, so whenever he came on the huge screens at either side of the stage, I'd be like, "Hey, look, Vall! Mike's wearing tight pants!" And then she would laugh...or slap me.....XP
And to torment narukogirl, I would be like "Oh, Billie Joe!" Except I'd say it in a totally wrong and...suggestable voice, and she would laugh or slap me...If Jono isn't there, I'm the pervert in my so-called 'posse'. And by posse, I mean group of friends.
Speaking of pervert, Billie Joe had the all us in the audience repeating after him, like he said, "Can I get a heeey-ohh!?" and we would all say "Heeeey-ohh!", then, when he got us repeating completely, he started making totally wrong noises, at that time, both me and narukogirl said "This is leading somwhere...." and then we started arguing about who got jinxed. Meanwhile, I kept an eye on the stage while we argued, and noticed that throughout these wrong noises, Billie Joe had his hand down his pants........
Before we got in, we had to go through security, and we had to get searched. I was behind my perverted buddy Jono in the line, and we got searched by a girl. After Jono got searched,(the searches included the searcher running their hands down your legs and such...) I'm like "Ooh, someone's having fun..." and the searcher laughed.
In 'Wake me up When September Ends', Billie Joe ordered us all to take out our lighter, glow-sticks, cellphones, anything, and wave them above our heads to the beat, kinda like Woodstock. I had no glow-stick, cellphone, etc, so I pushed the light-up button on my watch and used that. It was quite funny.
When they did 'King for a Day', Billie Joe had a crown and robe, Mike had cat-ears, Tre had a retarded-looking hat, and Jason(back-up guitarist who no-one pays any attention to...) had a pirate hat. They looked hilarious.
I, being the tallest of my group, constantly hadends on my back, piggy-back style, to see better. Therefore, I was extremely tired afterwards.
The pyrotechnics were undoubtably AMAZING! For at least 45 seconds, in...I think it was Wake me up When September Ends..but for at least 45 seconds, golden sparks exploded from above the drumset, and it just looked really cool...No, that's not the correct word for it, the proper term is tres cool, No, wait, Tre Cool.
Billie Joe actually talked alot.....Like he said, "The other day, we got to watch The Rolling Stones rehearse...Now, we know Green Day is just a liiittle better than they are, but we witnessed Keith Richards roll the hugest joint I've ever seen.....And, yes, I smoked the f***er." Of course, everyone laughed at that.
As the last song ended, which just-so-happened to be Good Ridance, the whole stage errupted in fireworks, setting off from the stage and behind us, they lasted a good 10 or 12 minutes. During that time, the band high-tailed their asses outta there. After all, the next day they'd play in Buffalo, then Ohio, then Tennessee(Sorry if i spelt it wrong...-_-).
Many other things happened, but I'm waaaaay too tired to finish. May anyone who reads this get the oppoutunity to view a phenominal concert like this.
