Spark, spark, spark; heat falls upon summer.
Flames of a young fire in its beginning stage.
Stir in the explosives, to make it blaze, make it last, it wants to survive.
Says no harm and platonic in feelings, but its future so ruinous.

As time passes, the flames more powerful.
It kindles with a great silhouette.
Thunder strikes with flames like Hades;
Enduring, tenacious, and just magnificent.

It glows a bright crimson, flickers a bright gold.
Strengthens in power and spirit, what was so little, now an inferno.
Suddenly the climate alters, but the flames still burn with envy.
Though raindrops will fall, slight showers, it attempts to remain strong;
It wants to hold on.

Exterior's so sweet, interior's so harsh.
You'll see innocence, but inside you'll feel pain.
Wet droplets are its burden;
they just keep falling, descending with no guide.

Slowly the seasons are changing; becoming a year now, and its winter.
Breezes so cold, the fire won't last forever.
Time showers hail and snow of hatred and brutality.
Now the flames are dying, faster and faster.

What use to be a beauty, now into ashes.
What was once perfect, now is dead.
And the remains- swept by the wind.

Now we wait till the next equinox, to watch another fire begin.
And hear those last words- spark, spark, spark.
