   Dance Party + Corruption.
Ah, 4th of July is coming up. We all know what that means. Pretending to be patriotic, eating lots of potato salad and getting sick, swatting at mosquitos and flies and trying to enjoy fireworks but really just covering your ears.

As long as their brownies or some other chocolate-y snack, I have fun.

BUT!
My birthday is the 19th and I'll finally be turning 17. Which will be a relief since my best friend Ricky is 20, and that makes me feel so young. (Even though we've decided that our ages should be reversed, because he says that if anything, he acts like the ridiculous teenager and I act like the college sophomore bound kid.)
I can't wait! I don't know what I'm doing for my birthday, but I'd like a party.
And, I don't know what I want for my birthday. Rarrrgh. I was going to plan on getting Dirge of Cerberus for my birthday, but the release date has been pushed back to August 22nd.

Hmmm...
What do I want? What do I want? (Well, a giant cheesecake served to me by Jade Puget wearing nothing but some ribbons would be nice, but....)

I have no clue! O___o;

Other than that, Otakuites! I need help!
What manga series do you think would be worthwhile for me to read? I've really run out of things. Ever since Battle Royale ended, I've fallen into a slump. All I have now is Death Note to look forward to, which isn't saying much.

So far I own Alice 19th, Angel Sanctuary, Azumanga Daioh, Battle Royale, Chobits, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Excel Saga, FLCL, Fruits Basket, FMA, Fushigi Yugi, Gravitation, Gunslinger Girl, .hack, Imadoki, Kare Kano, Love Hina, Loveless, Legal Drug, Mars, Maison Ikkoku, Naruto, Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Kenshin, Saikano, Saiyuki (which I don't even like that much), Samurai Champloo, Shaman King, Suki, Shutterbox, Socrates in Love and Yotsuba.

I'll give anything a shot, but I don't like overly fluffy shojo, InuYasha (sorry!), predictable shonen or anything that relies heavily on panty shots for plot development. (Besides Love Hina. Love Hina is my guilty pleasure!)

I miss Battle Royale manga. A lot. :[ 15 volumes wasn't enough.
