Yesterday. . . . . . . .
Yesterday afternoon was almost miserable. At lunch time, we went to the parent/teacher conferences, which was about the best part, believe it or not. We stayed there for about two hours just visiting and spent about 15 minutes in conferences. We left there and headed to a store and loaded up on candy(for me it was two chocolate bars, a snowball, and my mom gave me half a giant bag of cheetos). This was the best part. We then headed to Dickson, which on the way, my coke spilled on me twice, making my jeans soaked and my hands orange where it landed and tried to clean it up. We made a couple more stops then headed to the Dickson Library where they forced my mom to pay for a book that they lost, stayed for three hours, bored after finding a mere three thick books(my limit for the day). I didn't want to start one of them becase I knew I had another book in the car that I needed to finish, but I couldn't go get it because my mom had totally disapeared and she had the keys, so I went searching for half an hour until a woman told me where the she was and turns out, I had been searching right past the corner my mom was in four times. Well, I begged for an hour to go home and we finally began getting ready to leave at closing time, 6 oclock. We went up to the desk to check out and when she scanned the books onto my mom's card, we found that there were books that were turned in late on her account that we hadn't even heard of. So, my mom, being the good sportsman she is, payed the overdue fees just to get the check out person to shut up. Well, by then, my mom was in a really bad mood. She spent ten minutes on and off just storming about the incompetence that people possessed. She took us to Sonic and got us a couple burgers and dog on if, on the way home, my coke decided to take two more dives, spilling on my clipboard which had a sketch on there that I had worked on the previous night for two hours. We got home and cleaned up the damage(my drawing could not be saved), I got on the phone and on the computer, and finally everything leveled out, except for my arm and back and by now, my feet were hurting too. I then went back out to the car two get the last half of one of my chocolate bars and discovered that my mom had thrown it away because it was melted. Obviously she forgot about my special ability of popping melted candy in the freezer for five minutes. As you see, yesterday didn't go too well, but I 'm glad that I'm me and not my mom. This stuff happens to her all the time. I would have already gone through the roof and up the wall. There is nothing funny about this.
