Princess Tutu
"Once upon a time, there was a man who dedicated his whole life to telling stories to people. Although the man died, he managed to create one last story, about a brave prince and an evil crow monster. The brave prince and the crow monster fought continuously, and in time, both grew tired of the endless struggle in which neither side was winning. In order to defeat the crow, the prince took his own heart and used a forbidden power to seal the evil crow. But was it really just an old fairytale..?"
Princess Tutu - the name may strike fear into your hearts, however, it is a wonderful anime. I haven't read the manga yet, but I plan on it.
I looked into it more because of this hunk:
^_^
It's really, really good in comparing reality and dream. It's so deep and the art is just so adorable too!
I totally HAVE to buy the DVDs for this! The dub isn't the best thing in the world as they spoiled a plot twist just in translating the main character's name - but I LOVE it!
I've been really getting into the Nutcracker and ballet because of Christmas and all and this just hit the spot! DROSSELMEYER is a character ala the Nutcracker which attracted me to the show. It was on Free on Demand too. We don't get Anime Network so that really bummed me but I envy those of you who have the oppurtunity to watch this. It's brilliant.
