is this part four? oops should checked the last one lol
“And lastly this is Hoffman,” said Blanco as Eve reached out with two hands to match the size of Hoffman’s one.
“Well, at least I can say that you’re all very.....tall?,” Eve giggled lightly after saying this.
Winter pushed in between Hoffman and Dralock, “So this is the little lady that Blanco talks so much about,” she walked circles around Eve, eyeing her up and down.
“You act like we didn’t just say hello.”
“Oh, Honey, I know we just said hello, but that doesn’t mean I’ve got to know you yet.”
“Oh.”
“Yes, Oh.”
Eleshia pushed her glasses up her nose “Why do we keep saying the word Oh?”
Because if they said what they were actually thinking this conversation would end in death for one or both of them.
Eve turned to him and tried to burn a whole through his head with her eyes.
“Now what was that?,” Winter leaned into Eve’s face, “Do you have a problem with-,”the sentence ended when Eve’s eyes once again turned into a rainbow. Dralock stretched out a wing and blocked Winter’s view of Eve. “Bla-What?!” She jumped back and pulled a knife, “What just happened? It was like Dralock’s wing just materialized in front of me.” Saven pointed a finger at Eve and nodded in her direction.
“That bitch did something?,” snarled Winter. She shifted to cat and then went invisible.
Why does there always have to be killing? I mean I haven’t considered what moon I born under in years! And yet here I am.
Tyrant, without blinking, said , “ Blanco, you never told me the hotty that gave you your new nick name was a blood sucker.”
“I’m not just a bloodsucker,” Eve titled her head to the side and added , “I’m half succubus.” Everyone stopped talking and stared at Eve. The hair behind Eve’s neck rustled, and Winter phased back to view with her knife to Eve’s throat. “Now why is that knife there?”
“We just got through killing your Pappa. Now I’m gonna kill you!” The blade disappeared from Winter’s hand. Blanco stood there twirling it on the end of his finger-- while whistling.
I’m so good! I didn’t even make a breeze that time.
“Blanco, give that back right now.”
“No,” and he tossed it behind him into the bushes.
“You’d pick her over me? How well do you know her?,” demanded Winter, forgetting about Eve and now pushing her forehead right up against Blanco’s. This required her to jump up and sink her claws into him to match his height.
“It’s not that I don’t care about you guys. It’s that I consider her a part of me.”
Hoffman piped up, “And we’re not? You’d hide his daughter from us this entire time? We could have used her as bait.”
“Try that and I’ll...I’ll..,” the best he could get out for the end of the sentence was a gasping noise. As one, the other six turned and started to walk away. “Wait guys. I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Then how did you mean it, Blanco?,” Eve had walked up to his side.
“You mean the world to me. To lose you would be to lose myself. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t love all of you to!!! I thought you’d understand!” Eve leaned her forehead against his arm.
Winter turned,“Understand what?! I helped you kill that horror’s mother!” Eve stiffened next to him, her eyes widening then squeezing themselves shut. “I held her down while you slit her throat! Do you remember what her father did to all of us? Were you even telling the truth when you said that her mother killed your pack?” Tears began streaming down Winter’s face and Dralock put his arms around her and walked her away.
Tyrant half turned his head and said, “I know we didn’t always get along, man. But I never, I never thought you’d be this much of a traitor.” And with that closing remark, six pieces of Blanco’s life walked off into the woods. As if it were some sign from God, the sun finished setting at that exact moment.
Eve pulled away from Blanco, “I’ll go get firewood. Then you can tell me everything.” Blanco’s image began to blur as different parts of his body shuddered uncontrollably. He walked over to the circle of stones that they had all arranged earlier that day.
We were all supposed to be sitting here talking about how wonderful things were going to be. They were supposed to understand how I feel about Eve. Life was supposed to get better once I handled that one final problem. Things were supposed to..to get..
Baby, calm down. Let it go till I get back. Then tell me what happened to make them all so important and angry, and then let it go.
Ok. You are coming back right?
I hate when you ask questions like that. I really do.
For twenty minutes Blanco sat there staring at the stones, imagining each person in turn.
I remember this one time-
Not yet, Babe.
Ok. But hurry back, Baby.
I bet you’ve waited years to call me that.
.....Yes....So does this mean?
I don’t know. I’ve never felt that way about you, but if you care about me that much...
Ok. Then I’ll wait till you get back.
“I’m right here, Silly.” Blanco managed to turn his head and put a weak smile on his face. She sauntered over to him and sat close enough that he could feel her breath moving his fur. She slid right up next to him and asked “So where did it all begin with them?” Blanco nodded towards the stone to the left of them and imagined Tyrant sitting there.
I can see his image in your mind.
I didn’t know you could see what I think.
My skills have improved over the years, I can go much deeper into your mind now.
“Well, I suppose I’ll start with how I met him first.”
