Mother!
Today sucked! This morning I didn’t have to go to school until 10:40 because of blocked scheduling, anyway mom told me that she wasn’t feeling good and that she was going to call dad. Well I didn’t think on it because she hadn’t been feeling good for quite a while so I went and got dressed and came back and she was sitting on the couch talking to someone on the phone. She tells me to go open the front door me being the stupid blond that I am I didn’t understand when I hear sirens and see a fire truck pull up at the bottom of our drive. Well it finally donned on me that she had called an ambulance. Anyway they start asking her questions and one guy asked me if she had any prescriptions and I told him and finally dad shows up. To make a long story short they took the to Lutheran hospital and as soon as they had her in the ambulance I started to cry and dad can’t handle crying well this has happened before and dads telling me that she will be fine and he thought that the sinus pills that she had been taking where not settling well.
Dad took me to school and I sat down and thought, “I can’t do this” so I went and tracked down my teacher and told him what was going on (by then I had broke down and started crying again) he asked me if I wanted to go to the counselors and I told him no then he said that I could take the period off and go to the library. I went into the bathroom and tried to calm down more. I finally managed to stop crying and went into the library, my friend Emily was in there so I sat there and poked her and as soon as she saw me she could tell that something was wrong and I started to cry AGAIN as I told her what happened. Anyhow there was another girl sitting at the table and she got up and got me some Kleenex. Ashley asked me a question and we started talking about things and we sat there for 45 minutes talking about how stupid people could be. She had taken my mind off of worrying. Well to make this extremely long story short (even though its long just because I’m writing it) every thing was fine mom had just gotten dehydrated AGAIN (when I said that this has happened before is because mom fainted from dehydration and dad thought she died). But I made a new friend and got to get out of a review game and a test. Alls well that ends well!

Blue fingernails! Shiny blue fingernails! Sorry you had to see that (or read that) that’s what happens when your sleep deprived.
This weekend we got to go camping at Lake John. I caught the biggest rainbow trout! It was 18 inches but it was so fat that I couldn’t fit my hands around it. It must have weighted at least five pounds. I was out in my belly boat with my fly rod and when I caught it the wind came up so I had to paddle to keep from getting blown away (and this is no ordinary wind this is LAKE JOHN wind there were white caps hitting me) and when you have a fish on a fly rod its twenty times the experience than with a regular pole. Well this fish was so strong physically and mentally it took me probably ten minuets to finally get him in. When I did we were so tired he didn’t even wiggle around when I went to take the fly out of his mouth. I didn’t have a stringer with me because I don’t usually keep them and I was thinking what am I going to do if he dies on me because when I put him in the water he just kind of sat there. He caught his breath and slowly went off. I sat there exhausted with my arm going numb and the water pounding me but I was so excited! Ya it sounds like I’m a wus but you go try it some time.
Later on I got to go four wheeling and then drive to Walden for gas. On the way, there was a guy driving the opposite way and I almost turned around and went after him but mom wouldn’t let me. LB he was perfect he was a real cowboy in his huge, dirty Chevy truck pulling a trailer with three horses. He was so hot too. He was only a couple years older then me… ok four or five but still. lol
I got to drive halfway home, I would have went more but I wasn’t going to drive over Berthoud Pass. Oh we only almost died three times this time. On the way there after Eisenhower Tunnel we were in the middle lane going down and In front of us there is another huge camper. On our right there are two semis. Out of no where a guy comes flying past us ON OUR RIGHT and cuts in front of us then gets back over IN THE SAME LANE HE JUST CAME FROM then squeezes in between the guy in front of us and the semi with I swear to god no more then four inches. The second event, there was a guy that also came out of nowhere (and when I mean nowhere I mean know where because dad watches the mirrors as much as the road and looks on so he can see things before they happen) and all dad could see in his rear view mirror was the very top a car and the guy zips around *on his cell phone* just inches away from hitting us. Both of those were within two minuets of each other. On our way home, after Berthoud we were in the left lane (only two lanes) with another big fifth wheel in front of us. There was a little white pick-up truck next to us in the right, on his right there were oversized load semis merging well the truck was boxed in and couldn’t go anywhere. The semi doesn’t slow down he gust starts coming over anyway so dad got as far left as he could without going off the road. Well some how he squeezes in and while this happened the other semi up ahead must have almost hit some one (now keep in mind we are in a half ton Chevy pulling a pop up trailer) and our lane slowed down and dad had to hit the brakes and swerve into the median to not hit the guy in front of us. Dad and I decided that when things like this happen you should just carry around a 22. and pick them off. Freaking people, that’s why I don’t drive in town.
