piece 2 angelus bio!
It took me one month until I was graced by her beauty again.
I had spent nearly all of the night searching for her, and dawn was soon approaching. I cried one last longing tear, and turned back toward my home, exhausted after a fortnight with very little sleep. I suddenly felt a small hand grasp my shoulder. I turned, and silk-like lips met my own in a strong, passionate kiss. I was being kissed her by Her, an Angel.
After what seemed far too brief an encounter, the winged-woman leaned back from my face, and placed her head and hands on my chest, her wings wrapped around my back.
"I have watched you every night as you searched for me." she said. "What is you name?"
"I fear it will sound too worldly for one such as yourself." I answered after a moment.
"Then I shall name you. Hence forth, you shall be known as 'Angelus' by my people."
"What is your name, if I can be honored enough to hear it?" I asked.
"Ana." she replied.
"Ana..."
I saw the sun rising over the hills in the distance.
"Dawn approaches," I whispered. "I must be going...but I want to stay with you."
"Return tomorrow night, and I will be waiting by the stream."
I didn't hardly even bother with my chores that day. I did them as fast as possible, without upsetting my father too greatly, then went to bed early. I tried to sleep, wanting night to come faster, but found I could not. Once dusk fell, and all others in my household were fast asleep, I snuck out and rushed to the stream.
When I arrived, I found Ana sitting up in a tree, looking at the stars. When I was close, I called out to her.
"Ana," I said. "Why did you kiss me? And why this second meeting?"
"Angelus." Ana smiled, then dropped gracefully down off her branch. "I kissed you, and asked you here, for two reasons: First, because you showed such devotion. And second..."
She trailed off, walking toward me through the tall, dew-covered grass.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I'm old, Angelus. Far older than I appear. I've been alone for a very, very long time now. I want someone to talk to."
"Your wish is to speak with me?" I asked, amazed that such a creature as her was taking a true interest in me.
"Yes." she nodded.
"I would sleep sounder if I knew more about you. For example: what are you? Where do you come from? Who are your people?"
"I cannot remember where I came from." Ana shook her head. "I was born into this world as a human so many hundreds of years ago...I cannot recall my birthplace, or my exact age. My people, however, are well know to you."
"And they are?"
"Upirs, I believe you villiagers call us. But we prefer Vampires."
"A vampire..." I whispered. Of what I had heard of them, Vampires were horrible beasts, true monsters. Animated corpses that fed upon the blood of the living. I was suddenly afraid for my life.
"Do not fear." Ana laughed. "I have not tasted human blood ever in my existence, and have no intent on tainting my record."
She came up directly before me, and once again touched her soft lips to my own mascaline ones. I wrapped me arms around her waist, holding her close. Her wings wrapped around me just as tightly as her arms.
I spent the remainder of the night in her embrace, enjoying the taste of her - rather cold - lips. I had never kissed anyone before her, and it was new and exciting, and I had no desire to ever be parted from her. But when dawn came, she said she had to leave, and I was forced to go back to a farmer's life.
Part 3 coming soon!
