Wow. Its been so long since I last updated! Well, as most you know I was going through some rough times the last time I did post, which was sometime in June. But I'm alot better now. While I'mnont completely 100% over Michael (grr, I hate just typing his name...) I have moved on and have finally found someone who loves me they I never thought would ever be possible. We had been friends for about 3 years before we started dating. I have even talked about him in my past posts. I think because of that, I just feel so comfortable around him. I feel i can do and say anything and not worry about what he thinks of me or if he'll judge me or whatever. I didn't have that with Michael and I should've realized that when I was still with him. I regret not seeing flaws like that in our relationship. It would've saved me alot of heartache. But there's really no use in sitting here and wishing that things were different and that I had not wasted my time with him in the first place. The best thing I can do is take this as a learning experience. I've learned alot and I wanna use the things I've learned to make my relationship with Juan better and stronger. Plus, I'm so much happier with Juan than I ever was with Michael. Yes, we get into our arguments, sometimes over the stupidest things, but we always work through them. We live together too and things just get better as time goes by. ^^
Anyways, onto other news. I've started playing MMOs now. I've even started playing World of Warcraft. *gasp* My main character that I play as is a Blood Elf Hunter which I named Vankala (all my main characters I play as in MMOs are named Vankala). I also wanted to start a Rogue character since that the only class that can learn the 'lockpicking' skill. So I started an Undead Rogue named Valuna. And I recently started a Blood Elf Mage named Vathiri. Mages are pretty fun to play as. Takes some getting used to though. I still prefer being a hunter. I like using long-ranged attacks. And being able to use a pet in combat is pretty awesome too. :D Well, is anyone here plays or is interested in playing, let me know. I'd love to play with some friends. Btw, all my characters are on the Draka server. ^^
As far as art goes, I have to be honest. I haven't been motivated to draw anything in awhile. I wann get back into drawing but I just can't find any motivation lately. I have doodles and sketches here and there, but nothing that I would consider 'finished'. I'm just hoping I can get motivated again soon. I guess I'm just going through "artist's block"? Hopefully I can get out of it soon.
Well, I know its late, but how was everyone's Christmas and New Year's? Mine's were great. For Christmas Eve, my parents and brothers came over for dinner. I made a Ham (for the first time too) and it came out great. Juan's mom made tamales (drool) and they were really good. For Christmas me & Juan went over to my parents' house to open presents. It was great. ^^ For New Year's, I got to spend it with Juan since my parents don't really make a big deal out of New Year's, but Juan's family does so we spent it at home with them. His mom made some really good food, especially the jalapeno poppers. Oooh, those were so good! And we drank some champagne, that was really good.
Well, I think this is a long enough post. Not sure how often I'll be posting but I'll try to make time to post regularly. ^^
I'm sure everyone's already seen this, but...it still makes me laugh so, I'm posting it. :P Plus, from what i hear, the movie was complete crap, which is why I'm very reluctant to see it.
Hey guys. Sorry i haven't been on in awhile. There have been so many things going on lately that I just didn't have the time or interest (sorry) to update. I've only been updating my Da journal and if you've been keeping up with that, you know of my current situation. I'll probably be updating that journal more than this one but I will be around MyO, don't worry. I havne't completely abandoned it or my friends still on here. For anyone who wants to know how I've been doing since the last time i updated, plz visit my DA Journal, seeing as i don't wanna have to talk about it again cuz it is stil pretty painful to talk about it. I'm getting better, dont get me wrong, but the pain is still there and I'd rather not be reminded at the moment. Well, me & Michael did tell my parents a few weeks ago about our engagement. Things went a lot better than either of us expected. ^^;; They had a few concernes, of course, but we assured them that we’d work through them. ^_^
I’m glad someone agrees with me on the whole Valentine’s Day “holiday”. Its good to know I’m not the only one. ^^
And thanx to those who watched my video. ^^ I’m glad you liked it. ^^
On to other news, I might be getting a tattoo this weekend! Yay! :D Here’s a pic of what I’m getting:
I found the design on DeviantArt and LOVED it! I’ve been wanting to get the kanji symbol for ‘Tiger’ awhile and this was perfect!! XD If things go as planned, I’ll be getting it done on Saturday. :D
I’ve actually got my second tattoo planned out already. Actually, I was originally gonna have this one done on Saturday, but that was before I found that Tiger one. Lol. Anyways, this I put together using 2 different tattoo designs: This one and this one. Here’s how it turned out:
I changed little details in the scorpion just little. You probably can’t tell from the photo, but I did. ^^ That’s gonna be my next one and its gonna go on my arm. I’m thinking it should be on my right arm but my mom’s saying my left so…I need someone else’s opinion. ^^;;;
Oh, guess what? On Sunday I bought my copy of Super Smash Bros: Brawl!!! XD Oh my gosh! I love it! The new characters are pretty cool, especially Pit. I’m not too fond of Ike just cuz of the fact that he replaced Roy, who was an awesome character to play as in Melee (not better than Link, though. :P). But, I may grow to like him over time. You never know. I still think they should’ve kept Roy, though. :P Anyways, I love that they added the ‘Final Smash’ feature. Some of the characters’ Final Smashes are just frikken’ awesome! XD Like, Lucario’s and Samus’s are just like: O_O!!! I like Link’s, of course, although it sucks when the arrow misses. >_< I really love Kirby’s Final Smash. Its just funny and cute to me. ^^ I’ve been wanting to play online but no one’s ever seems to be on when I am. >_< If anyone here has SSB:B and Wi-Fi on their Wii, I’d love to play with ya’ll online. It would be so much fun! Pm me your Friend ID an I’ll add you to my Friend Roster. Here’s mine in case ya’ll need it: 1762-2396-0780. ^^ Oh and if anyone knows how I can get 100% on Adventure Mode, I’d love to know. I’ve beaten it but with only 82% and I have no idea how to get 100%. What am I missing? I’m so confuzzled! >_<
Btw, I haven’t set up an account on Version Vibrant just yet. Its not exactly a priority of mine right now but I’ll get to it when I get a chance. One thing I’m hoping though, is that this whole ‘Worlds’ thing won’t replace MyO. I’d be pretty upset if MyO was just forgotten or whatever, you know?

School’s going great. My Painting I class is cool. I’m getting better with painting like I had hoped I would. I actually kinda like the last painting I did. I mean, its nothing to brag about but it just shows that I‘m improving. ^^ My Art Appreciation class is okay. No complaints about it, really. ^_^
Things with me & Michael are going great. We’ve been engaged for a little over a month now. I think its about time to tell my parents. 3 of my cousins already know (at least to my knowledge) and so does my brother Nick. And I’d rather have my parents hear it from me rather than from them, you know? I’ve gotta wait til Michael has another night off, though cuz I want us to tell them together. Well, that’s if Michael’s okay with that. I hope he will, but I’m not gonna force him to. Well, I’d like to say that sometime within the next week, I’ll tell them. I’ll let you guys know how that goes the next time I post. Wish me luck…
Oh yea, how was everyone's Valentine's Day? Yea, its late and despite the fact that I've never liked the holiday, I just thought I'd ask. ^^; Yea, I still dislike it despite the fact that I do have someone in my life. I just hate the idea of setting aside one day to show love & affection to your boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever when it should be a year-round thing. I also hate that jewelry stores go crazy with ads to make guys feel like they have to buy their gf/wife/fiancee jewelry to make them happy. Ok, maybe its that way with some girls but not with me. The only piece of jewelry that I expect to ever get from Michael is my engagement ring and, when the time comes, the wedding ring just cuz they actually have a meaning to them. I don't really like wearing expensive jewelry just to wear it. I dunno, maybe I'm weird but I really don't care. I prefer what Michael actually got me over flowers that'll wilt & die, chocolate that'll eaten pretty quickly, or jewelry that'll hardly get worn. He got me 'Princess Mononoke' which I really like but didn't have yet so I really liked it. (In all honesty, I wasn't expecting to get anything at all. ^^;;; ) I didn't know what to get him at first but he told me what he wanted so I got it for him. He wanted Season 1 of the 'Highlander' series. ^^ So yea, Valentine's Day was good for me. Though technically it was that Monday but we both had to work (and I had school) on Valentine's Day so we wouldn't have been able to spend time together on that day anyway.
Anyways, I finally finished that video I told you guys about awhile back. You know, the second part of my Resident Evil 4: Randomness one where I also used quotes from shows like ‘House M.D.’, ‘Family Guy, ‘That’s 70s Show’, as well as movie quotes. :D I uploaded it a couple of weeks ago and people like it a lot so far. ^^ Just like the last one (as well as the Xmas one I made), you don’t have to be a fan of RE4 to enjoy it. I’m proof of that since I’ve actually grown to dislike it after noticing all of its flaws….>>….Only thing you really have to know is the fact that I really dislike Ashley (blonde chick) as well as (RE4) Leon (blonde dude). He ok in RE2, but Capcom ruined his character in RE4.…but I can on a really long rant about everything what’s wrong with RE4 and I don’t wanna bore anyone here who’s never played the games (although anyone who has is free to pm me whether they agree with me or not. ^^) Anyways, onto the video! (I promise, its funny! ^^ Don‘t let my rant scare you away.):
Well, since Christmas has come and gone since the last time I posted, I’ll go ahead and let you guys know how that went…some other time cuz that may take a little while and there’s stuff I’d rather talk about in this post (including a big announcement at the end of the post. ^_~ Hey, that doesn’t mean you can skip the rest of the post! XP).
Well, school has started for me. This semester I’m taking Art Appreciation and Painting I. I have the same instructor for both classes and he seems pretty nice. He gives a lot of work, but I’m gonna do my best to handle it. ^^ Also, this semester is also gonna be the last semester I’m gonna be at the college I’m currently attending. I’m gonna be changing my degree plan cuz the college I’m going to now doesn’t have the degree plan I now need. There’s another college in the same district that has what I need so, right now I’m just taking a couple of classes that I do need for it at my current college. It probably sunds a little complicated but I’m not quite sure how to explain it. ^^;; But anyways, in case you’re wondering I’m going into computer graphics, since I wanna become a game designer. ^^
Haven’t started my job hunt yet. ^^; Yes, I know I need to get on that, but I wanted to get everything settled at school and everything before I started looking. So, this weekend I’m gonna start filling out applications and all that good stuff. :3
I added a lot of new songs to my play list down there at the bottom of the page. ^^ I organized the songs too, by artist, too. Hope you guys like the new additions. ^^
And now for big announcement!! You guys ready?? XD
Michael asked me to marry him Tuesday night!!! XDDD You guys can’t even imagine how happy I am right now!! I have yet to tell my parents, though. I dunno, I’m just kinda scared of how they would react. ^^; I know I shouldn’t be…but knowing my parents…I don’t think they would approve. I mean, its not like it matters, its not their choice. Plus, its not like we’re getting married anytime soon. He’s still gotta come back from Iraq (he gets deployed in May and he‘ll be there for a whole year) and sometime after that, we’re gonna move in together and I’m sure sometime after that is when we’ll start actually planning everything. ^^; All I know is that its gonna be a small wedding. I’ve never been too fond of big, fancy weddings. I mean, they’re pretty and all but…they’re just not that necessary. I’m perfectly happy with a small wedding. ^_^ Anyways, that was the big announcement! I am so happy to be with Michael. It took us a little over 2 years to be finally be together but it was definitely worth it & that’s pretty much how I know Michael is ‘the one’ or however you wanna put it. Fate gave us a second chance and I’m glad I took it! ^_^ Comments (4) |

Hey guys. Not many visitors on my last post. What’s up with that? :P Meh. I guess people are just busy so its no big deal. ^^
Anyways, this past week has been okay. I think I did fairly well on my exams. I don’t know my grades yet but I should within a week or two. ^_^ Michael’s birthday went okay. We went out to dinner at Bennigan’s with his mom, grandmother, and brother. The food was good, though I got full pretty fast despite the fact that I hadn’t eaten all day before that (didn’t have time to ^^;; ). After that, me, Michael & his brother went to a bowling alley and Michael and his brother played a few games. So yea, we had fun.
He came over on Friday, too which was good cuz he hadn’t come over in a few weeks and, well, we missed our alone time. :P
So, over the weekend I got my Christmas shopping done. Yay! ^_^ I didn’t have much money this year so I only got each of my family members (and Michael) 1 gift. Yea, being broke around Christmas time sucks. >_< I wanted to get something for my friends but I don’t think I’ll have enough money to get each of them something. Plus, I don’t even know what to get them! ^^;; Hopefully, they’ll understand.
Today went really well. I woke up to my cell phone ringing at 7:30 in the morning and it was Michael calling to tell he was coming over this morning. That was a pleasant surprise if you ask me. ;P So yea, we had fun, though he had to leave at around 2:15. But the time we had together was great. Only thing about him coming over that I don’t like is when he leaves, my mom starts asking me questions like, “What did ya’ll do?”, “Ya’ll didn’t go in your room, did you?”. Of course I tell her we didn’t “do” anything, I just tell her we watched tv, slept, played video games, whatever. Which isn’t a lie cuz we do those things too. :P
So, I don’t think anything interesting will happen the rest of this week but I’ll update if anything does happen.
Today’s Video is actually a video I made. I was playing Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and something funny happened. I was fighting some Eliminators (monkeys injected with the T-virus) and one of them got stuck behind the rail on the stairs. Me & Nick just sat there watching it for a couple of minutes, wondering if it’ll get unstuck anytime soon. When it didn’t, we got out my camera and started recording. It got smart after a few seconds though and got unstuck so the video isn’t that long (only 41 seconds long). But hopefully you can still find it somewhat amusing. :P (Hehe, glitches are fun…)
Hey guys. Sorry about my last post. I know it wasn’t much of an ‘update’ but I really wasn’t in a happy mood to begin with. Stress with school and things at home were already bothering me. Also I kinda got in a fight with an online friend a couple of days before so that was bothering me too. Actually it was more of a disagreement and something he said just hurt me. I don’t wanna talk about it here cuz I really don’t think he would want me to.
But anyways, since I actually have time to update right now…I think I will. :D
This week is exams week. Yay! I only have to go to class on Tues for my exams. ^^ I'm pretty sure i'll do good on both of those. ^^ But I'm still gonna study, of course and aim for that A! :D
Also, on tuesday is Michael's 21st birthday. ^^ Not sure what we're gonna do that day but whatever he wants to do is ok with me. And Friday is our 5-month anniversary. Yay! I hope we can see each other that day. We’re usually able to see each other on Friday mornings unless something comes up. Hopefully nothing will come up this Friday cuz he hasn’t been able to come over for a few weeks. Yes, I have seen him since then but Friday mornings are really the only time we can actually be alone for a few hours. We rarely get to be alone so we try to get as much alone time as possible. ^_^
Anyways, I've been thinking about getting a full-time job and going to school part-time next semester so I can save up enough money to move outta my parents' house. I'm really tired of living here (some may know why) and I think its time I should go. My mom wants we out but then again she wants me to wait til I'm done with college to move out. Sorry, but I can't do that. Living here is the main reason why I'm not doing as good as I could in my classes. I can't concentrate, there's too many distractions. I can't even be alone in my room for 5 min w/o someone coming in or calling me in the other room to do something. So yea, its time to leave. I'm gonna start my job hunt sometime this week. Wish me luck. I’ll probably need it. ^^;;;
That’s really all that’s been going on. As said before, Tuesday’s my last day of school, so I’ll be able to get online for often. ^_^ That means more updates! :D Not daily yet, since I’ve still got a lot of Christmas shopping to do and a job hunt to start. :O I’ll update when I can, though. ^^/

So, my 21st birthday pretty much sucked. I didn't get to do anything I wanted to do. Michael had classes last night so being with him didn't happen. And I don't even know when I'll be able to see him. I couldn't go out with my friends either. *sigh* I'm just really upset that my 21st birthday wasn't as fun as I wanted it would be. Hell, it wasn't fun at all. I was stuck at home like any other day. I always thought my 21st birthday would be really fun and I wanted it to be so, yea that's why I'm really upset right now. Its been over a month since I last updated so I just thought I’d give you guys an update. ^^
Things with school are ok. Kinda stressful now that the end of the semester is drawing near, but I’m doing my best. ^^;
Things with Michael are great, as always. On wed it’ll be 4 mos since we started dating. It honestly seems like we’ve been dating longer than that. ^^; That might be b/c we’ve liked each other ever since HS but idk. Yea, we’re really in love and I’ve just been really happy ever since we’ve been together. I really can’t wait for Friday to come. I would tell you guys, but…I’m not sure how you guys would react if I told you so….I’m stayin’ quiet. :P Its a big day for so I’m really nervous about it...but still really excited. ^^;;
Anyone remember my RE4: Randomness video? (If you don’t click here.) Well, currently making Part 2. I’m pretty much doing the same thing with this one, except that I’m also using quotes from TV Shows. So far, I’ve used quotes from The Simpsons, Family Guy, Animaniacs, House, and That 70s Show. If I can find more quotes from other shows, I’ll add them. ^^ So far, the video’s coming out great. It’ll be awhile til I can finish it though b/c of school and all. I’ve been working on it off & on for about a month or so and I’ve only got about 1 minute of it finished. ^^;;; Anyways, I’ll post that here once I’m finally finish it. ^_^ When I’m done with that I wanna make a Resident Evil Tribute using the song Requiem for a Dream. That’s such an awesome song! I plan on using the full 6-minute version. Yea, I know its long but I plan on using footage from RE0, RE: Remake, RE2, RE3, and RE: Code Veronica X. I don’t think I’ll use RE4 since it really has nothing to do with the RE storyline...but idk...it’s a maybe...^^;;
Oh yes, before I forget: My 21st birthday is a week from Tuesday!!! XD I’m so excited! No, I’m not gonna go out and get drunk or anything. :P I’ll probably just spend the day (after my classes of course) with Michael. And I don’t have class the next day so I don’t have to worry about getting home too late. Hell, I can stay out all night if I wanted. :P Sure, my parents will hate the idea, but I don’t care. I’m adult and don’t need their permission. XP Lol.

Things are going great, for the most part. Things at home are the same. But I rant about that on my Xanga so I don’t have to bring the drama here to you guys. ^^;;
Things with me & Michael are only getting better. Sure we only get to see each other once or twice a week, but its better than nothing, right? But that’ll change once he’s able to get afford a car. For right now, we’re relying on the city buses. ^^; I hope we can see each other this weekend. I miss him so much. X3
School’s been going okay, too. I took that Govt Test and got a 70 on it. ^^;;; Yea, I think I could’ve done better. Oh well, I’ll just have to study harder for the next one. Speaking of tests, I have my mid-term for my Philosophy class tomorrow. Wow, a mid-term, already. I still feel like I just started the semester. Lol. But yea, I think I’ll be able to pass it. ^^
Oh yea, I saw Resident Evil: Extinction with Michael the day after it came out. Yea, it rocked! :D I really don’t wanna ruin it for you guys, but if you liked the other movies, then you’ll love this one. *nods* And they didn’t ruin Claire’s character! Yay!! Not that I thought they would, Ali Larter’s an awesome actress and was perfect for the role, so I knew she‘d kick ass! :D
