Hey! ^^/

So, how was everyone's Labor Day weekend? Mine's was okay. Went to Border's on saturday with Nick. Did the usual: Read and bought a few things. ^_^ Sunday, me and my family went to my dad's aunt's house. It was out in the country by a lake so that was interesting. I wish I had brought my camera cuz it was so pretty! XD There were alot of hawks flying around, too. We ate and talked...well they did, I mostly stayed quiet. Even though we were all family, I hardly knew any of them since I haven't seen them since....well I don't even know. ^^; Yea, my family is too big to keep track of everyone. ^^;;

Monday was just another day with us. I guess my parents didn't feel like doing anything after the day before. Meh. All I did was watch LotR in my room and went to get some stuff for my classes and came home and watched more LotR and read a chapter of this book that I need to read for my history class and went to bed at like 10pm. Yep, that was my day yesterday. Pretty exciting, ne? lol

   Guh...

Hi! ^^/

Woke up early today since my mom was willing to take me to school this morning since I didn't have enough cash for the bus. I also didn't have any coffee either so until I go up to my classes, I'm gonna be kinda just...bleh. ^^; My mom will be taking me tomorrow too. ^^;

So, my cultural studies class wasn't all that bad, thankfully. When I got to the classroom, I realized it was the same room that my sociology class last semester was. Later, the instructor walks in and its the same instructor I had for sociology! (Yea, my history 1302 class is in the same room as my history 1301 was but different teachers, so I wasn't expecting to have the same instructor for the Cult. Stud. class even though it was the same room. ^^; ) But yea, that was interesting. He's a good intructor so I'm not too worried about that class anymore. ^^

So now, that I've been to all my classes now, I can tell you guys right now that I'm gonna be very busy over the semester. My history class requires ALOT of reading so I'll be doing that during most of my free time. That means, I won't be online as much. I'll still try to get online and visit sites in the morning but I won't be able to visit people during the evenings or afternoons, like I've been doing. But if i don't update for a day or 2, then you guys will know why. Just thought I'd let you guys know that.

Ooh, I finally have a deviantART.com account! XD I haven't added anything yet but I'll try to when I get a chance. (i picked a perfect time to join, huh? -_-+)

I don't have anything funny to post today, but instead you can listen to a pretty J-Pop song! :D Its called "Hana Kagari" by Yumi Shizukusa. I originally wanted this song here on my site but I couldn't find a URL for it so I couldn't do that. TT_TT Anyways, enjoy:

   2nd day of school....let's see if this goes well...

Hey guys! ^^/

Well, yesterday went better than expected. When it started raining yesterday morning, I took that as a bad omen, but luckily it was an actually good day. ^__^ My history class is gonna be alot of work but its mostly reading so it shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully, anyways. ^^; My Digital Art class sounds like its gonna be pretty fun. Only thing is there's only 4 people in the class right now, which isn't enough for the class to stay. So we need at least 2 more people for the class to stay for the rest of the semester. I would really hate for this class to be cancelled cuz this class sounds like fun. ^^ Today, I have Cultural Studies and Drawing II. I'm not too worried about Drawing II (obviously) but I'm still not sure about the Cult. Stud. class. Guess we'll just have to see, huh? ^^;

Someone asked me yesterday hig of a manga collection I have. Well, its a fairly small collection compared to others, but I guess it could be big compared to other people's as well. ^^; I'd tell you guys what exactly is in my manga collection but I can't remember them all at the top of my head right now and I'm at school right now so I obviously can't go look. :P I'll try to update tomorrow while I'm still at home and tell you guys. Heck, while I'm at it I'll tell you guys my anime collection too. ^_^ :P

Speaking of anime, I just bought the Chrono Crusade anime from eBay last week and it came yesterday (That was pretty fast!). I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet but hopefully I'll get to this weekend or something. ^_^ I've been reading the manga and I obviously love it. ^_^

Ooh, I have like a hour and half between my 2 classes yesterday so I decided to read Death Note 7 to pass the time. OMG, it was so good. There was a sad part though, but I won't ruin it for those who haven't read it yet. But for the most part, it was good. The 8th volume comes out in November! ^__^

I worked a little bit on that sketch I was talking about the other day. Its starting to look really good! Only I wish I coulda done, though, was to draw it on a bigger piece of paper. -_- Oh well, I'm just gonna have to work with what I have, ne? ^^;

   First Day of School....and I get rained on. -_-

Hi! ^^/

Hmm...first day of school and I get rained on...I'm not taking that as a good sign...but oh well. :P The only thing that sucks is that I had to wear this over-sized jacket that I hate wearing. >_< But at least I was dry (for the most part). ^_^

Anywho, as I said today's the day I start my classes. I have History and Digital Art today. ^_^ I would have Math but that class got cancelled last week, though I'm not sure why. Usually I wouldn't mind a math class being cancelled, cuz I hate Math, but I had to replace it with another class and History was the only one available. Yea, I don't like History either. But if I had to choose between the two, I'd rather have History. ^^; Tomorrow, I have Drawing 2 nand Cultural Studies. Before anyone asks what Cultural Studies is, I have no clue. I just know that I'm required to take it. Hopefully, it'll be interesing. ^^;

Well, since its Monday I shall ramble about my weekend. Saturday was really fun cuz me and Juan went to go see the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. It was in Tyler, Tx so it took about 2 hours to drive there. Lol, but it was still fun and well worth the drive. ^^ The movie didn't start until 9:30 and we got to Tyler at around 5 or 6, so we went to a Barnes & Noble right down the street. I read Chrono Crusade Vol. 2 and started on Immortal Rain Vol. 3. We decided to leave at around 8:40ish, so I bought I.R. and Death Note Vol. 7 and Anime Insider magazine. ^^ I finished I.R. last night and haven't gotten a chance to read Death Note. I will today on my way home on the bus...unless its still raining, then my dad will picking me up. ^^ But anyways, we went and watched the movie, and it was really good. ^_^ I actually prefer the English version of FMA over the Japanese version, which is obviously rare for me. The same goes for Fruits Basket. ^__^ So yea, it was a fun day. Well, except for the part where we got lost on the way home, but we eventually found our way home, so that's good. I didn't get home til around 2:30ish in the morning ^^; But my mom knew ahead of time that I'd be late coming home so no worries there. ^^ Sunday was boring for the most part, so no point in talking about that. :P

Short Post Today...

Hey guys.

Sorry I didn’t update yesterday. Hardly anyone on my friend’s list did, so I decided not to update. I’m here today though (obviously).

I think I’m just about out of my cold streak. I started a new sketch last night and its looks really cute so far. I just hope I don’t mess it up. Not sure if it’ll end up being a finished drawing or not but if it does it probably won’t happen anytime soon since my classes start next week. Feh! Just when my cold streak ends. >_< Oh well, hopefully I’ll have some free time to finish it. ^_^

Not much else to talk about today. See you guys on Monday (since I probably won’t update tomorrow, I seem to always miss Fridays for some reason. ^^;)

I woke up a bit early today cuz I just couldn't fall back asleep. I hate when that happens. >_< But I'm mostly awake now. ^_^

I think I forgot to mention yesterday that my cousin Marissa has gotten me into this Shoujo manga called Hana Kimi. I wasn't interested at first (I'm not much into shoujo, except for Fruits Basket), but she kept bugging me about how good it was so I finally gave in and read the first 2 volumes. It was pretty good. Not the best manga I've ever read or anything, but its decent enough for me to wanna keep reading it. ^_^

Ooh, I just realized Death Note Vol. 7 comes out in two weeks. Probably less than that, since I always see other mangas on the shelves before their release date! XD The release date is also the same day as the season premiere of 'House'. Yay! \^^/ Hehe, just thought I'd mention that. :P

Oh yea, I also forgot to mention that my cousin finally got to watch Moon Child. She loved it. It made her cry. I don't blame her, it was a sad movie, but still good. ^_^ She also agrees that Hyde and Gackt are very sexy! ^_~

Hi! ^^/

I haven’t visited anyone yet but I will when I’m done here. ^^

My weekend was pretty fun for the most part. My cousin Marissa came to spend the weekend over here since here parents were out of town. She came on Friday and left yesterday (Sunday). On Saturday we (Me, my cousin, and Nick) went to Barnes & Noble. This one was a 2-story one which I had never been to before. We sat and read some manga. I read Black Cat Vol. 4 , Chobits Vol. 6, and got started on Chrono Crusade Vol. 2 but my mom called me to tell us that she was gonna pick us up then go get dinner. So I went ahead and decided to buy the last volumes of Chobits (7 & 8). I was gonna buy the Chrono Crusade manga as well as Immortal Rain Vol. 3 but decided to wait on those. ^^ I’ll read or buy those next time. ^^ On my way to the checkout I saw a table full of planners and stuff, so I decided to get one since I’ll definitely be needing one. Then I saw that they’re already selling calendars for 2007 so I decided to look at those. Hehe, I found the perfect one for me. ^_~ Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest! XD It had some yummy pics of Orli and Johnny. ^_~ (My mom was tempted to still it for the Johnny pics. Lol). But yea, had to get that. ^^ That’s all I bought there. Nick bought the new issue of Tips & Tricks magazine that had Naruto: Ultimate Ninja on the cover (he loves the game just as much as I do! XD). My cousin didn’t buy anything since she didn’t have any money. She read some manga too but I wasn’t sure which ones she read. ^^ My brother read Trigun Maximum Vol. 1 and started on Rurouni Kenshin Vol. 20 (yea he’s a bit behind). But he didn’t get to finish it so he asked me if I could buy it for him. So he owes me $8. :P So then we left when our mom came, though she was a bit mad for some odd reason and me and her ended up in a huge fight later on. I’d rather not talk about that since I’m in a rather good mood at the moment and don’t wanna ruin it. ^^ Things are okay now so I guess it really doesn’t matter now anyways. ^^; Sunday was okay. Marissa just wanted to read more of my Bleach and Naruto mangas, so I just played some RE4 to pass the time. ^^ This game is such a breeze now that I have strong weapons, including both the Infinite Rocket Launcher and the Chicago Typewriter (which also has infinite ammo). Marissa’s mom came at around 6:30 to pick her up. Later I went to Juan’s house cuz he invited me over to play Dead Rising again. ^^ He says its funnier when I play cuz the zombies seem to be afraid of me. Seriously, within a few minutes of me playing, the mall seems empty and the few zombies that I see are walking away from me. Lol. Juan says that doesn’t happen when he plays. Mwahaha, they better be afraid! :P Lol, in one part on the mall, I found this helmet thing that made me look like MegaMan and then I found a Mega buster, too so I was going around pretending I was MegaMan! XD That was funny. ^_^ Other weapons I found and used this time was a stun gun, some poking stick, a sledgehammer (hehe, that one’s definitely one of my favorites! >:D ), a water gun (needless to say, that’s useless), an electric guitar, and a nightstick. Hehe, ^_^ I love that game! ^__^

So that was my weekend. How was yours? ^__^ One week from today, I start school. Not sure if I’ll be updating much on here. I should, but you never know. ^^;

Hi! ^^/

Sorry I didn’t post yesterday. I woke up a lot later than usual (like 11:30!), so I didn’t have a lot of time to visit everyone and update. But I’m here now. ^_^

Well, I tried the whole re-draw thing. Unfortunately, I can’t get it to come out right. ^^; I think I’m just gonna take a break from it until I can get more motivated. (There’s no use in forcing myself, now is there? :P) I also don’t have any new ideas either so I guess I’m gonna have to take a break from drawing altogether. TT.TT ß (doesn’t want to)

Hmm..I seem to keep forgetting to mention that I joined Gaia Online. Yea, Sammy, Tito, and others kept talking about it and I got curious after awhile. I finally gave in and joined. ^^; I’m still trying to figure some things out since I have no idea what I’m doing! :P lol Anyways, my username there is ‘Vankala’ if any of you have a Gaia and wanna add me as a friend there. ^^

I visited just about everyone already but I’ll go and visit the rest of you! See you guys tomorrow! ^^/

Hey guys! ^^//

I read both RuroKen Vol. 28 and Buso Renkin Vol. 1 last night. The final of RuroKen was really good!!! I don't wanna give anything away for those who haven't read it yet but I'll just say that the ending was really good and I'm happy it ended the it did. ^__^ Buso Renkin was also really good. I'm gonna have to pick up Vol. 2 once it comes out. ^^

I forgot to mention yesterday that yesterday was the first day of school for my brothers. Nick started his first day of middle school. ^__^ My other brother, Vincent, started his senior year of high school. ^^ My classes start on the 28th. This summer went by too fast to me. Bah! Oh well, it had to end sometime. ^^

I started a new drawing last night. I was gonna wait til after I draw something for Logan-kun, but he hasn't told me what he wants me to draw yet, so until he gets back to me on that, I'll work on this one. ^^ This new drawing is gonna be a "re-draw" of one of my older drawings. Its coming along okay so far. The hands are giving me trouble, as always. But hopefullly I can get them to look okay. ^^; I think I'm gonna do more "re-draws" of some of my old drawings since I've improved so much. I got this idea while looking through my portfolio the other day. ^^ I need to make a list of exactly which drawings I wanna re-draw. ^__^

Hey guys! ^^/

How was everyone's weekend? Mine's was good. ^^

Friday was meh. Not much really happened that day so let's move on to saturday. ^^ I went out with my friends again, so I had fun of course. ^_^ We went to Border's after eating at Fuddrucker's (my first time eating there, btw). I bought RuroKen Vol. 26 and 27 and Vol. 1 of Watsuki's new manga Buso Renkin. I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet but Watsuki's one of my favorite manga-kas so I'm sure I'll enjoy it. ^^ I read RuroKen though. Now I've gotta read 28 and be done with the series. ^^ I already have 28 so I'll be reading that once I'm done posting here. :D I also bought this book that has all kinds of Optical Illusions (I'm sure Logan-kun would enjoy this book. ^^). Anywhos, it has stuff like this:

and lots of other different kinds of illusions. ^__^ This book was only $6 since it was on sale, so I had to get it! XD

After that, Stephen and Julie went to Stephen's house and I went to Juan's to play Dead Rising (yay!). Yea, I was really happy that I got to play Dead Rising. Its so much fun, as I expected! XD Lol, the first zombies I killed were killed by...cd's. XD Who knew cd's could be so deadly? :P Among other things I used were, a cash register, a trash can, a loaf of bread (obviously doesn't do anything but you can still use it), a knife, a katana (which was my favorite! XD), a hanger, cooking oil (the cooking oil's funny cuz it makes the floor slippery, lol), a shopping cart, a bowling ball, a some flower pots, a bench, a chair, and a frying pan. I think I used some other items but those are just ones that I can think of right now. XD This game is so much fun. I think I'm gonna have to buy an Xbox 360 now. Too bad they're majorly expensive! >_< Bah! Oh well, one day...^^
